Fujiya serves up standard Japanese fare which isn't to say it's not good but the food is definitely something I could find elsewhere. Two of us shared the yakisoba with beef along with two rolls (shaggy dog roll and volcano roll). Everything we had was good though nothing was extraordinary, plus the portion size for the yakisoba felt a bit small. Came here for a work lunch. First time here. I tried the tonkotsu ramen. Absolutely delicious!!! The broth had so much flavor, the meat was tender, and the marinated egg was scrumptious! I visited here today while on lunch break at work. I managed to arrive at noon while the restaurant was still sparsely filled with patrons. I ordered a simple lunch special - three rolls for $18 plus an extra roll. Shortly thereafter, the lunch crowd had entered in full effect. Twenty minutes or so into my wait, I began to noticed that two tables of 4-6 patrons had placed their orders after me, and received their food before I had. Forty minutes pass, and the waitress places a bowl of miso soup on my table. I figured that perhaps my food might arrive imminently and at least give me ten minutes or so to wolf it down. WRONG! After another ten minutes, I told the waitress that I had to leave in order to get back to work on time. I fully understand that it was lunch hour, and the owner clearly has understaffed his operation. However, there is no excuse for skipping a table of one in and serving the large groups that arrived after I did. Wasted time, no lunch, and an arrival back to work with minutes to spare? Really nice and clean place! Stopped in for dinner w kids, one of the teens picked it just by looking up ramen near us and it was really good. The shabby dog sushi was chefs kiss! really everything we had was delicious. I ordered the edamame spicy garlic and reallly recommend it even if you don't like sauce it gives the edamame a good taste and flavor. I ordered the miso soup to try but never go it they took it off our bill no problem. Every one like their food and service was nice, it was packed more as we stayed and they had tvs on both ends of the restaurant. read more

Savory hot ramen on a chilly winter evening hit the spot! I got the spicy beef ramen and my friend got the spicy miso ramen. They were both very savory with a nice spicy kick, very generously portioned & overall delicious! We also ordered yellowtail jalapeño which was very refreshing & the magic salmon roll tasted divine! Came back with my dad after we visited a family member at the hospital across the street. The guy seating us and my waitress from the night before still remembered me and welcomed me back lol. This time I got the Tonkotsu ramen while my dad got the Spicy Beef ramen. My tonkotsu ramen was a solid bowl. It was porky, salty, and creamy at the same time. The noodles were chewy/bouncy (which I love) and they give you a lot. The chasu didn't have any fat at all and was all the meaty part of the pork belly. I know plenty of people who would prefer that. The ramen also came with black mushrooms, bamboo shoots, an egg, and cabbage too. Never had cabbage in a tonkotsu ramen before but it provided a nice crunch to balance out the rest of the textures from the dish. I forgot to try my darns ramen, but he said his ramen was okay too. He usually doesn't eat ramen and said he would order it again if he came back. Our server brought us out this red pepper powder when my dad asked for pepper (which she brought out too) and my dad loved whatever that red pepper powder was. Service was great as the night before. My waitress was polite, quick, refilled our drinks, took away trash as she saw it, and helped us check out quickly when we were ready to leave. I still preferred the chirashi bowl from last night more, but the ramen is still solid. Not the best but it will satisfy your craving. Service made the entire meal excellent though. read more

The sushi I made perfectly and they're not stingy with the meat, same goes for the ramen. The broth is extremely rich and the pork is super flavorful, you can taste the char in every bite. This was our first visit and I was looking forward to some great ramen, the Tantan ramen was the right choice! I added woodear mushrooms and cilantro for an additional $1.50 each. That seemed a bit ridiculous to charge for a sprinkle of cilantro but I did enjoy the flavor. My husband decided on fried gyoza dumplings, fried spring rolls and shrimp tempura for his meal and really enjoyed them all. We also shared some edamame and pork buns. The edamame was good, but the pork buns with a side of sriracha, were amazing! The Dr. Pepper mix was a bit too sweet and we exchanged it for a Sprite. The decor and ambiance was appropriate for the restaurant. The place was clean and staff stayed busy keeping it that way. Service was exceptional! Tyler was attentive, personable and very knowledgeable about the menu. Business was brisk but we never felt we being rushed, or like we were waiting unnecessarily.
