Took my daughter and her friend here for dinner. I ordered a few sushi rolls and my daughter ordered some ramen. It was decent, but not up to par with other establishments. The interior decor is fun and youthful. I would have to try again, perhaps I didn't order the right rolls.

There was about an hour wait for 3 on a Saturday night. So about what you'd expect. Not a local but would recommend. Staff was nice. The anime culture present was cool. And the food was good. Would come back here again.

We went here for the Hibachi today, but they also offer Ramen, Sushi and some Japanese dishes like Gyoza, Edamame, Fried Rice and Yakisoba. The interior is Elegantly Modern. The staff were friendly and we had very good service. Our Hibachi Chef was entertaining and he seasoned our food very well. Our food was cooked properly the way we requested it. The Hibachi area is separated from the main dining area and bar area. We have tried different Sushis here like the California Roll and the Philadelphia Roll and it's been very good. I love the Hibachi show and this place does it well. They don't have outdoor seating, but they do have a full bar. Good Yum Yum and Hot sauce, Miso Soup and Ginger Salad.

Amazing ramen! I loved the atmosphere and service. The portions are huge and everything was delicious. Moderate pricing for the amount of food you get and would highly recommend dining in. It is in a strip with other shops and there's plenty of parking in the lot.

This restaurant has really cute decor! We sat down for regular dinner and had ramen and appetizers. The spicy miso ramen has a great flavor and broth. They even had a kids ramen which my son really liked! The avocado appetizer was awesome too! We will definitely be back to try more of the sushi and teppan style!

I live pretty far away from Mt. Juliet & have never been a fan of this city's layout & traffic, so I typically avoid going there at all costs. However, I was introduced to Fukutoku by a friend who lives in the area. Oh my! I was blown away at their lunch special! Their two & three maki roll special is second to none! Fresh, full-size eight pieces per roll with large pieces of fish, so not all filler and rice. The presentation is beyond any other sushi restaurant's I've attended in Nashville. They have an array of sauces to try since I don't eat soy sauce or eel sauce. My friend's chicken teriyaki was bountiful & delicious too. The atmosphere is super cute, clean & fun! They have hibachi rooms for groups & private dining areas too. The service has been stellar every time. I'm becoming more of a fan of Mt. Juliet simply because of Fukutoku!

Came back to Fukutoku to try the Ramen, and it did not disappoint. The waitress said the Tonkatsu Ramen was the most popular, so that is what I ordered. It was a bowl full of noodles, pork broth, pork, soy egg, corn, and radish, and for my first Ramen experience it was very tasty. They offer several different types of Ramennon the menu, so there is something for everyone.

Excited to try this fairly new restaurant in Mt Juliet. Service was great. The ramen broth was tasty. I would've preferred for the pork belly in the Tonkotsu ramen to be a little more crispy. The shogun roll was good per my daughter but had too much rice for her taste. The gyoza was perfectly pan fried. I also ordered Thai iced tea, easy on sugar, & was prepared just right. Overall, we like the place & will be back.

Great sushi for a great price. Food came out fast. Not a "dress up" fancy night place, but nice place for sushi without going downtown!

This is one of the rare times the Yelp reviews don't live up to my expectations. I'm giving 4 stars…read morebecause the staff was so friendly and kind, and I don't want to trash a small business. This is a no-frills, smaller restaurant inside a strip of stores in a questionable-looking area of town. As I parked the car, I thought twice about actually going in, but based on the Yelp reviews, I decided to give it a try. It was clean inside, and, as I mentioned, the service and staff were 5-star! My food was where it went wrong for me. I started with the summer rolls (the ones in rice paper); they serve sushi and Thai food here. I have been craving summer rolls; I love the freshness of the mint and herbs, combined with crunchy peanuts and peanut sauce. However, that fell short for me here. The peanut sauce was reddish and tasted more like ketchup, so that was a letdown. No little peanuts anywhere in the sauce or on the plate. It was jam-packed with iceberg lettuce, which you would typically put on a Taco, so it wasn't very fresh-tasting, and it contained the tiniest piece of shrimp I've ever seen inside. Following my gut, I decided not to order my usual sushi selection, which is always raw, unfried, and unsauced. However, I decided to play it safe, so I opted for a Mexican roll instead. I asked for no eel sauce, but I should have also specified that I wanted spicy mayo on the side. It covered my roll, and I had to use a napkin to remove what I could. This is usually a roll that is around $6 to $10, but for some reason, they were charging $14. They made the rolls bigger, but not by filling them with more shrimp, avocado, etc.; instead, they added more rice. This may be someone's cup of tea, but it wasn't mine, and I won't be back, but wish them the best!

If you walk into a restaurant at 7pm on a Wednesday night and the place is fully packed and there…read moreare people waiting behind you to be sat, you KNOW you made the right decision to go there. We were greeted nicely by the hostess and waited roughly 5 minutes for a table to open up. A family of five came in right after us and decided to sit at the bar to eat. I knew in my heart that this was the best place to go to for my husband's birthday dinner. We sat on some barstools while we waited, discussing the hockey game playing on the tv behind the bar. I loved the low ambient lighting that spread across the ceiling. Our waitress was nice but she never gave us her name so I unfortunately can't shout her out. She gave us recommendations so I ended up taking one of hers. Now, if you have read my Thai restaurant reviews, you know by now that I judge a Thai restaurant by ordering their Pad Thai the first visit, however, I broke that rule because I just KNEW this place was going to be good. We ordered the Tom Kha soup with chicken, Pad Kee Mao with chicken, I ordered the Khao Soi Gai (it comes with chicken, no substitutions), and one Thai iced tea. You guys. When the Tom Kha soup touched my lips, I was SO excited to get the main course! It was made PERFECTLY. I haven't had true Tom Kha since probably when I lived in California over a decade ago. The Thai tea was strong and delicious, exactly how it should be made. The Khao Soi Gai...that first sip of the curry broth nearly made me go Meg Ryan-mode in the restaurant. If you know, you know. "I'll have what she's having!" Our waitress recommended this dish and I'm so glad I was adventurous and tried something different outside of my "I'll judge you based off of your Pad Thai" attitude. It was perfect and when I say perfect, I didn't even add lime juice to it because I didn't want to mess anything up with the flavor profile. Sure, lime could have added another element to the dish but when I say it was perfect the way it was, it's true. The night at Smiley would have ended perfectly if it weren't for the miserable couple who sat beside us discussing how unhappy they were in their marriage and decided to accept the waitstaff into their broken marriage by being completely rude. But the staff remained professional and kind through it all and I give them HUGE props for that because I was a moment away from telling that wretched couple off. In short, the staff here are wonderful, and the food is memorable, delectable, delicious, perfect...it's HEAVEN. We will DEFINITELY be back to try other menu items!

Juliet, TN, looks much the same on the outside as many other take away places, but we couldn't be more wrong! This restaurant has, hands down, the BEST Asian cuisine we've had in the metro Nashville area. From portion size, to the thoughtful service, to the freshest dishes undoubtedly made with love- one is left feeling less like a customer and more like family. One thing that my wife and I couldn't wrap our heads around was why in the world all of Nashville isn't packing this place daily? All we could gather is that it is so unassuming that people don't even know what they have in their own backyard. Do yourself a favor; GO!
