Man, do I feel like a friggin' dingus! Driving up to the location of this lovely establishment proved to be nothing shy of slightly misguided. I blame Google Maps for this (not the restaurant) because it had me turn directly into the EXIT lane! Yeah. By the time I realized my mistake, it was too late. Couldn't do a three point turn. Couldn't just reverse out of there and try again. So, I sheepishly drove my car at a snail's pace up the wrong way whilst veering as far to the right side as I could. Passed like 3 cars. Yep. I'll likely beat myself up over that one for years to come. Anyways, welcome to my Prime at Sky Meadow review! :D So, wifey and I share the same birth month. Every year, we choose a bougie restaurant to have what we call a combined birthday dinner together. Tired of always going to Ruth's Chris every other year, we decided to see what the locale had to offer. One thing led to another and...we ended up booking a res at Prime. Walking in, we're immediately greeted with an aura of elegance. The entrance consists of a grand standing lobby featuring a self playing piano, adding to the opulent atmosphere. We were able to get a table within mere seconds after they verified our reservation. The dining room LOOKS nice and has a great view, from what I understand (it was dark that evening, so we couldn't enjoy the view). Too bad I can't say the same for the acoustics. Out of the many fine dining restaurants I've visited in my life, Prime may possibly be one of the noisiest. I think it's because the tables are too close together. Which means you can almost hear entire conversations at the table next to yours. It's why I never travel in public without at least one pair of earbuds. Misophoniacs UNITE!! XD Now, I'd like to give a shout out to the waitress who took care of us that evening (I really wish I didn't suck with names so much). Service was stellar, overall. After receiving our drinks, we ordered the following.. Appetizers: Got the crab cake and clam chowder. Now, I just need to mention...our waitress had us at, "it's pure crab, no breadcrumbs". Both our eyes lit up as I said, "Yup. We'll take it!". Guys. I gotta tell ya....not a lot of restaurants can make a crab cake properly. Yet, Prime nails it! This thing was f#*!ing delicious! I dare say it may possibly be the greatest crab cake one can buy anywhere in the state of NH. And I will stand by that claim until or unless I discover better elsewhere. The clam chowder is in a league of its own. I often say how the very best chowders are the ones you don't have to add any additional seasoning to. This one totally slaps! Creamy, savory, made with REAL fresh clams. The cheesy bread they give on the side pairs brilliantly with the chowder as well. Solid 10 out of 10 for both apps! Mains: Wifey and I stuck with our favorites, getting a filet and ribeye, respectively. Describing the taste of these should be brief, since they seem to season all their steaks the same way. While the temperatures were absolutely spot-on, they could have used a bit more seasoning for our preference. However, we didn't see the need to send them back and just sprinkled some salt over the steak instead. Ch'yeah! Forgot to mention...this is one of the few fine dining restaurants that actually leaves the salt and pepper shakers on the table. Inconceivable! :o Got the lobster mac & cheese as the sharable side. And, uh....I think we were totally spoiled by RC's version of this. Because what Prime does here is....unique. The cheese (which I STILL cannot identify yet) was so mild, I truly believe the chefs were going for a subtle flavor. If done properly, it can actually give a delectable impression to the palate. Few extra dashes of salt, the whole thing was quite tasty! My one complaint here though: lobster meat was lacking. Normally, the ratio should be something like 70/30, macaroni's favor. This version was more like...85/15. Side's an 8 out of 10; steaks would both be a 9 out of 10. Dessert: Last, we have the peanut butter pie. I decided to take this one home, since I already felt like a pregnant whale by this point. Simply put, this pie was nothing short of sublime. Rock hard chocolate frosting aside, this was a 9 out of 10 for me. It's worth noting an 18% service fee is automatically charged to your total bill. So, take that into account when tipping. I'm not totally sure why they do this regardless of party size. Nevertheless, we made sure to close the gap, so to speak, on the gratuity by adding in an additional 7%. Service was just that good! Whilst I'd love to be able to give this place a perfect score, I honestly can't when considering the noisy ambiance of the dining area and lack of lobster portioning in their mac & cheese. That's not to say, however, that Prime is anything short of an amazing dining experience. Came here to celebrate my sister and her friend graduating their Master's program. We did make a reservation because we had a group of 9. I appreciate the fact they allowed us to be seated at different time as the second car was ten minutes behind. We started with a few drinks and took our time looking over the menu. Sarah was nice enough to give us insight on the portion size. All of the sides are shareable for 3-4 people. Even a few of the main dishes you can share amongst two people. The standout menu items were Miso Sea Bass, Ribeye, and mac and cheese. That Sea Bass was beyond amazing. Aside from the food our waitress was amazing, she was the queen at small talk. She had a wonderful attitude and was on top of our drink orders and brought the food out in a timely manner. The manager Felix was also such a delight. You can tell he loves his job and people! Made the graduates feel extra special especially with the comped desserts. (Thank you for remembering the nut allergy.) Such a lovely experience. Expect to pay around $75 - $125 depending on the main course and drinks. Thankful this is the location we choose to have a celebration dinner. Highly recommend for people visiting out of town and locals looking for a nice meal. Overall STRONG 5/5 stars! read more

I have never been to Prime at Sky Meadow before but have heard raves from friends who were married there. We decided to go back on their anniversary as a walk down memory lane. Shout out to the groom for thinking of such a thoughtful anniversary gift! Thanks to them both for letting me tag along. I am giving Prime at Sky Meadow a high star rating despite some things that need to be fixed. I do this because an experience at a fine dining restaurant needs to be impeccable. The restaurant is on the grounds of a country club which was a pleasure to drive though on an early May evening. Getting to the restaurant was a challenge with all the twisty roads, but we made it. We arrived just before sunset so we were able to enjoy the spectacular views across the golf course. The white and blue décor was lovely and you walk in with that view! Since we were seated at sunset, one of us had to sit facing in to the solar glare. Some windows had coverings and others did not. It seems like a correctable oversight. I had The Philanthropist (Blueberry and basil infused Tito's handmade vodka, blueberry syrup). I did love the bread service that had several options and that was served with butter with big flaky bits if salt. Yum. For starters we ordered the beef carpaccio served with smoked jalapeño aioli, extra virgin olive oil, fried caper berries, ciabatta and parmesan; the thick cut bacon with smashed Luxardo cherries; and the lemon miso salmon maki with cucumber, scallions, pineapple orange, miso sauce, lemon purée, and cilantro. the carpaccio was delicious; silky. delicate and rich. The flavor of the bacon was fantastic. The cherries were the perfect sweet/tart compliment to the richness of the pork. I would order this every time, but please to the kitchen staff; Bacon should not be so tough/overdone that I could not cut it with a steak knife. It was not burned. The cook on it was perfect mahogany. It was just like chewing rawhide. I am sure I should have sent it back but I didn't want to hold up the rest of dinner. That brings up point two. Plates were cleared. Waters were filled and refilled. We went from "oohing" and "ahhing" over the sunset to the restaurant being dark and still we were not served our mains. We started joking, guessing whose steak had wound up on the floor and had to be remade. There is a lot of light in the space . . . until the sun goes down. Then the wall sconces are not enough even with the lights on each table. The LED lights were cold and just were not the warm glow a place like this needs. Once dinner was brought out, the server asked us to cut into our steaks to check the temperature. Well, it was so dark, I could not see if mine was the medium rare that I had ordered. I needed to use our phones and the LED light on the table as a flashlights. We all ordered the boneless rib eye. I asked for the Kona crust and mushroom enhancement. This was in my top two or three steaks ever. Not a misstep at all here. Loved the mushroom sauce too. It would be great in an omelet or on toast. As sides we split the creamed spinach (because have you really been to a steak house if you don't get creamed spinach?), the grilled artichokes with goat cheese, balsamic, and garlic roasted tomatoes and the au gratin potato. I love a good creamed spinach and this was excellent. I am a huge artichoke fan and loved these are well. We all enjoyed how the servers offered sides to us individually and served them. Additional plates should have been put down (or at least offered) so there was room for sides without overloading dinner plates. Now to the potatoes. I took one bite and did not like them. At all. In addition, they were cold. I wonder how long they were sitting out as our steaks were cooked. Once dinner was cleared, my friends were offered a dessert for their anniversary (very sweet!). They chose the strawberry cheesecake. It was a lovely presentation with a candle and was delicious. Sara was our server. She was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. She made the whole dining experience enjoyable. I saw another reviewer comment on the noise level of the dining room. There seems to be no noise baffling going on and, with a table behind us who thought their decibel level needed to be what you'd hear on the runway at Logan Airport during takeoff. It was just painful. I had to lean over the table to shout to have my dining companions hear me and even that was not enough. Like I said, there were a few missteps that can be overlooked and we all agreed to come back another time. Before I save this I wanted to mention one more thing. This is a gorgeous space with a five star restaurant experience. I know I am nitpicking here but when Sara brought out our leftovers they were put on the table in the single-use plastic bags that are banned in most stores. In such a pretty space they just looked terrible. Some handled paper bags would be a nicer option. Also note that an 18% gratuity is added to all parties. read more

We went to prime for my husbands birthday and man was the food incredible. Most of us got their steaks which were so so tender! I loved that they had us cut into the steaks to make sure they were all cooked to our liking. The sides were big enough to get a few and share among all 8 of us. My dad and I ate over the weekend while visiting Nashua for my graduation. My expectations were exceeded. We had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Our waitress Beatha was very attentive and extremely sweet! I ordered the vegetarian sushi and side of spinach and mushrooms, which was delicious! My dad ordered the lamb chops and he said it was cool to perfection. I also have to compliment their selection! If you're into wine you will not be disappointed. A group of 6 of us went here for a special birthday. There was a party going on in a larger space next to the dinning room. The party folks must have been a blast as it was extremly loud and made conversation at our table difficult at times. Some memebers tried the sushi rolls and raved about how great they tasted and were freshly made. My husband and opted for the crab cake $32. We were a bit disappointed that it was only 1 crab cake at that price, however it was an amazing crab cake. Others at the table raved about the ribeye steaks, 1 ordered with bone, 1 without. My husband tried the filet mignon $52 without sides, and he had a side of the potatoes augratin. The filet was butter soft, and amazing, the augratin appeared to have a ton of cheese. I opted for the $32 chicken parm with a $8 side of pasta. I should know better when going to a steak house. The chicken parm was very good, but I wasn't expecting to be sitting on a ton of pasta drenched in sauce. I really thought it would have been served "on the side" as the menu stated. It was really good food, but for the price point it really needs to be a very special occasion. For 6 of with 2 mock tails, 2 tap beers, 4 mixed drinks and 1 bottle of wine, 3 apps, 6 meals the tab was around the $850 price point. read more

Since its opening, we have enjoyed dining at Prime and have always had a consistent, superb, and memorable experience. The food is fantastic paired with phenomenal customer service. We have hosted multiple family events at Prime and it is our go-to when hosting out-of-town guests! Prime provides attention to detail and spectacular views that are on par (no pun intended, considering the location ) and rival 5-star restaurants in big cities like LA & NYC. The ambiance emulates one of a luxury brand with a personalized experience unique to Nashua, NH. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We have dined here for dinner and brunch multiple times, ordering most of the items on the menu. All the items we ordered exceeded our expectations, which is why we believe this is the best fine-dining restaurant in the area. We look forward to creating more memories at Prime! Our server was amazing and kind and had great recommendations. We had a chance to meet the chef and the food was absolutely to die for - we had an amazing bone in rib-eye that reminded me of steaks we had a few years ago in Florence. The lamb lollipop and lobster tostada appetizers were excellently crafted with flavors on point. The restaurant itself has a wonderful atmosphere, and you wouldn't expect it from a restaurant within a country club - a wedding was taking place in the event hall next to Prime when we arrived, which was pretty neat. read more

This place was fantastic. The service was incredible, the owner was very friendly and came over to check in on is a fee times. Great cocktails and apps, the bacon slab was perfect. The filet was super tender and perfectly cooked. The only disaapponting item was the pork chop which was very overcooked, but they took it off the bill when they noticed we didn't ear it. We're not members of the country club so we had a challenging time finding Prime as there's no signage for the restaurant. The restaurant opens at 5, got there at 5:30, to Phil Collins blaring Sussudio, I felt like I was clubbing back in the 80s it was so loud. Perhaps it's because we're not members, we were given a table by the exit door and the kitchen - between that and the really loud music, the ambiance of fine dining was eliminated. We asked for them to lower the music and they did - it was so cold in the restaurant, our dinner companion put their coat back on and other people were dining with coats on. Again, perhaps it was because we're not members, but the dress code clearly states men must wear shirts with collars (from their website: "All male shirts must have a collar. ") - the dress code seemed to be more of a suggestion on our visit. The wine menu is substantial, the drinks are perfection, but we felt rushed through the meal, and when I specifically asked if the (add-on) bearnaise sauce was made on site, I was told yes - the resulting Hollandaise sauce was fine, but not what I requested - after the meal when I questioned the hollandaise (versus the bearnaise on the menu) I was told "it's not a traditional bearnaise." - Then why not mention it when I ordered it and specifically asked you questions about it? The meals were fine, we started with lobster tostadas, and clams casino, my french onion soup was perhaps the best I have had, 1/2 rack of lamb, 10 oz filet, chicken parmesan, sushi, and the chicken /pasta special - it was all lovely, but not sensational - dessert was fun, we had the cheesecake and the coffee cake - good coffee - a nice meal, but not the experience we were led to believe we would have. read more
