My husband and I got married at Fulchino this September and to say it was perfect would be a huge understatement. Al Fulchino and his wife worked tirelessly from the day we signed on to make sure every last detail was accounted for and that our wedding would go off without a hitch. And it did! Fulchino Vineyard is like walking straight in to Tuscany and his grounds give you an intimate escape, not to mention the most gorgeous pictures and delicious wine. He made us feel part of the family and we will always cherish the day we had there. We had 130 guests, held our ceremony and cocktail hour on his patio overlooking the vineyard. We had dinner inside and moved everyone outside again for our reception and live band. The setting was gorgeous, and being close to Nashua made it easy to shuttle our guests back and forth. It's a hidden gem and I couldn't recommend it more. read more

Love this place! We have gone here for some work/coworker events after work and it's so great. They treat you right and the tastings are great, you try 12-16 different wines of great variety. They are super rich in history and go above and beyond to make you get the full experience. Great knowledge on anything grapes and wine related. I love the Cab, it's my favorite. I like the Barbera, Montepulciano, Provence, Sangiovese, and many more! I really love the dry reds, but honestly they have a great Pinot Grigio, other whites, dessert wine (Signature Blend Cenare and Peach). Also, whether you sit inside or outside it's absolutely beautiful. The architecture of the buildings is breathtaking and they are making lots of updates to the outside. Highly recommend! read more

This place was amazing and very pretty. First off the employees are very professional but personable which made the experience so relaxing. They have great selection of wines to taste with your choice of cheese and meat. I would suggest going earlier in the day on the weekends because they ran out of some of the wines I selected but they made selections for alternatives. I didn't give it five stars because I thought there was a tour included but it may have been my mistake. Either way highly recommend. read more

The wines I have had, and purchased are very satisfactory and the Frontenac Gris is my particular favorite. Heavy on taste and light on attitude, Fulchino's is hands down the Merrimack Valley's best vineyard. It was a lucky day when a family member recommended this local gem and on a sunny Saturday afternoon in August, there we were...basking on a relaxed outdoor garden patio hidden behind vast rows of grape vines stretching out to Pine Hill Road. Fulchino's feels like living the Italian dream without the jet lag of flying to Tuscany. Family owned and operated, the dynamic husband and wife team, Al and Susan Fulchino, promise an experience that "steps back to another time," and damn people, they deliver. We opted to go all out and treat ourselves to a platinum tasting, including 10 wine samples served with artisanal bites--salami, assorted cheeses, prosciutto, bread, dipping oil, dessert; it was a perfect combination of sweet and savory, and I personally fell in love with an imported Italian pistachio and almond pesto that could be best described as a mouthful of joy. The vino is rightfully the star and I was constantly amazed I was sipping the bounty of fruits locally grown and harvested in New Hampshire. While wine is often my go-to nightcap, I am not a wine expert, which made the friendly insight provided by Al and Susan most welcome. With every pour, we got a dollop of education, community, and approachability. This is a family affair that harkens back to Al's Italian grandfather, Andrew Fulchino. They love what they do and it shows. I can't imagine someone coming here and not finding a wine that speaks to them. And you'll be hard pressed to find a more relaxing way to interact with a wine professional and drink more affordably in a space that doesn't involve Netflix or your couch. So, what to pour: Palates vary so sampling is your best bet but I can whole heartedly recommend Fulchino's signature rosé, Amoré, which had me at hello. I've had a hard time finding a rosé that speaks to me due to sour or bitter aftertastes. But Amoré is special. I also took home their Biancco, a crisp white with notes of pear, peach and apples--basically it's summer in a glass. Come fall, I will be stocking up on their Malbec and Pinot Noir. Finally, something to make the long New England winter a little more bearable! Fulchino's is proof that a little slice of Italy is alive and well in the Merrimack Valley. Pretty place but very strict NH laws! Glasses can only be poured by the bartender and you can't get a second glass unless you eat their food. Maybe I'm just used to Nashoba valley winery where we are allowed to buy as many bottles as we want and pour them ourselves and be able to bring our own food. read more

FULCHINO VINEYARD, A BIT OF TUSCANY IN HOLLIS, NEW HAMPSHIRE. 20 September 2020 On this absolutely beautiful sunny Sunday, the last weekend of summer, my friend Lauri and I made our afternoon drive to experience a gem of a vineyard in Hollis, New Hampshire. She and I had never been before and decided to pull in to investigate. The first person we met was the kind parking attendant, Joe, who guided us to an open spot for my VW Jetta to rest. The white gravel drive and pathway made the lush tropical and vineyard landscape seem as if we had arrived in Tuscany. An intoxicating surreal experience that washed my spirit with my own memories of my travels in Europe. Upon entry into the white stucco main building, our hosts, the owners Susan and Al Fulchino, warmly greeted and explained all our options for an afternoon wine tasting. We decided on 6 tastings with cheese, and olive oil and bread accompaniment. We were seated outside under the seeming Italian riviera setting with Andrea Bocelli singing in the background. As we were served our choices of each to taste by Al, he explained each wine, and also advised, to my heavenly delight, how to savior all the cascades of flavors and notes of each. An overwhelming and forever unforgettable experience which we both relished and will never forget. Lauri and I wallowed in all the elements and sensations, of great wines, bread, cheese, conversation and a plethora of people, families and friends scattered around us, all enjoying the same. As Al needed to help set up for a catered five o'clock function, he handed our latter tasting needs to a well polished and charming handsome young man, John, who has been there many seasons and was as erudite and informative as the owner. My favorite of my six tastes was the Cenare, Signature Blend. It was the first I tried and it is incredible! During this pandemic, everyone there was wearing masks and practicing healthy protocol. Would not recommend this winery!! The charcuterie board is a table with grocery store selection of meats and cheeses that you pick and carry yourself to your table. They have no dishes! The staff wasn't sure how many cheeses and meats we could choose. Turns out for the 25.00 fee you only get to pick one cheese or one meat! Not both a meat and cheese. Also they serve no crackers. Just one serving of cold bread and oil. The wines were not potable. Only one out of the eight we tried was tolerable to drink. The service was not great because the layout is all wrong and the waiter had to run half way across the property to get more wine. This place needs someone experienced in running a winery! read more

Was directed to one of the owners who said "we are closed for a private event" and my friends and I said "oh, it didn't see that" he said "we posted it" and we let him know we didn't see the sign. He said "I'm not going to argue with you". We were not argumentative at any point, just said we didn't know, and he walked away annoyed. I'm totally fine with being closed for a private event, but some signage would have gone a long way. Or at least being slightly polite. read more

If you like really good wine, and I mean really good wine, you have to visit Fulchino's. Al Fulchino is generous in the free tastings and talks about his wines as they were his kids. I think he said his father and grandfather had vineyards in Italy, so its in his blood. Sure its a little out of the way (15 min from Nashua), but well worth it. He only advertises by word of mouth, but has a website. Enjoy overlooking his modest vineyards and the new tasting room while you sample some outstanding wines. read more

Went there for a wine and cheese event, wine was ok, cheese selection was good, friendly staff with odd masks that might have well been non existent. Some of the food servers would lower their masks during slow serving time to talk to fellow employees or sample the food with their gloves on then put mask back up to continue serving without changing their gloves. When I mentioned to Al the owner that they had their masks down, he told them to put them on. He did not have a mask on and pompously stated he didn't have to because he wasn't serving food and that masks were only suggested per the attorney general. What a great example he set, not a very smart man!! I will never go back!!! read more

Been to many others around New England and Napa/Sonoma in CA, and I have to say this vineyard provides some of the best wine tastings and food pairings I've ever experienced. We did the gold package which included 8 tastings and a choice of a cheese of meat. We also got a water and bread and oil. The perfect spread. Service for the tastings were prompt and polite. We stopped by there for a first visit on Memorial Day. Not very busy. Since it was such great weather we sat at an outdoor patio table. First we were given expert and friendly help inside to select a few wines and snack. Very nice choices of Italian meats and cheeses. After selecting a few glasses of wine we enjoyed the rest of our time outside. Very relaxed, unhurried, not at all pushy with the wines. They didn't hesitate to provide a small taste if undecided or curious. Very nice variety of wines. We will return. BTW, this is a very pretty venue for a small wedding. read more

We've been to many wineries and overall, this one is not a favorite. The wine is average at best. There was also a hint of animal dung in the air which was quite unpleasant. Sadly, some of the wines were just not potable. We won't return. What was the most impressive was the ability to have a paired meal or a charcuterie board with any number of wines you pick to taste. I went to a wine tasting at Fulchino Vineyard and it was amazing. The owners were so nice as was the young girl working there. The grounds are beautiful and you get to try a lot of wines(maybe 9?) and you get to pick a meat and cheese and crackers and bread with oil and balsamic. The wines were great, the building and decor had a real old world italian feel to it, and the owner was obviously very passionate about his family business. Great tasting wines! I'm not usually a red wine person, but I liked a few of theirs. The peach dessert wine was great. We went for a tasting and it was a great value! The only reason why I'm giving the place four stars is that the included meats and cheeses aren't served to you; you have to plate it all yourself. Not much service, but the products are great.
