Hands down, already got my vote for the best brewery around!!! I will now become a regular here I loved it so much. Place has ample parking, super cool on the inside and an awesome patio. The service was awesome, I was waiting for a friend and I was checked in by 3 different servers. All had friendly chat and were very attentive. I have celiac and I'm grateful for some of the gluten free drink offerings. I had two seltzers and both were delicious. I will be buying the Cran cans next time I'm there. I walked in here for the first time. The service automatically was excellent between the cashier, the cooks, & the busier. The cashier let me sample some drinks so I could see what I liked, I got this mango ale beverage DELICIOUS. The atmosphere is amazing here clean, vibrant, & chill. The food... omg SO GOOD! Oof. Was hoping I would enjoy the new space more than I did their old tap room. Sadly, I did not. The actual building is cool but it was very loud and there was a jazz type band playing, just adding to the overall noise level. It was cool and very windy but we opted to sit outside due to an extraordinary amount of children everywhere. You know it's a bad omen when there are literally signs all over the place saying it's a brewery not a playground and asking parents to watch their children...this is a friggin brewery!! Maybe bring your kids somewhere they can play and let me enjoy my Sunday?? Also they have many signs saying no dogs. I would much prefer dogs to all the kids. Dogs are one billion times more chill than screaming annoying children. Anyway, the beers were meh. A mango sour that was heavy fruit nectar and did not taste like a sour and a flight of IPAs that were ok but not great. Also had spritz's but learned the wine is boxed. Eek! Tried a can of the Schwartz beer which typically I love but this one was not anything great. Bartenders were all friendly but we all decided we will not be back. The beers on tap including the Quadratics, Color Theory, and Pink Femininomenon are so good! The staff is so helpful and friendly! We can't say enough about them. Second time coming here and this time we stayed for lunch! Our visit was even better than the first. Firstly, let me say that the staff are so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they are happy to be there. I got my "usual" blueberry cheesecake sour. I put usual in quotes because I've only been twice-is that long enough to claim something as my usual? Because I'm a lightweight (low ABV please), this is a great option for me and it tastes delicious! My BIL got a flight that included their new anniversary sour: 7th 7% fruited sour and he let me try it. If you like tropical fruits and like sours I highly recommend it. I forget all the flavors the bartender said was included but I do remember mango, coconut and pineapple. It does not taste like a pina colada but more like a tropical fruit punch with the perfect amount of tang! Oh and another bonus for me and my fellow lightweights-they after 3 oz, 10 oz and 16 oz pours. So should I want a high ABV beer I can get a small taste!!The food was phenomenal! We got nachos and falafel gyro. It was too much for two people-lesson learned. Next time it's the nachos to share so we can get dessert. The nachos were the best I've had. Been a fan of spyglass' beers for about 4 years now. They used to have a small taproom on the other side of town and opened this bigger brewpub around 1/2023. They tend to be very busy, especially at peak times. Seating can be difficult and you might even find yourself sharing space and making new friends. The beers are pretty much the highlight for me, particularly the hazy DIPAs and some of the sours. They can brew a decent lager but it's not their forte IMHO. A friend had the hard seltzers and said they were good but I can't say that for myself since I don't drink them. The beertenders have always been friendly and helpful to me although I do tend to know what I want before I get there. The food is decent and what I'd expect at a brewpub. I would imagine most of it is prepared ahead of time so food keeps moving out of the kitchen. I recently had a burger, wife had nachos and the kids had wings. All edible, but not the real reason I go to spyglass. I've had the street tacos before and they were also serviceable. Reading through other reviews of Spyglass before writing my own was very interesting to say the least. If you do go, expect a family friendly environment. If sharing space with kids isn't your thing, you can sit at the bar. You currently have to order food at the bar, pick up your own food from the kitchen, and occasionally wait in a small line to order. This is all very typical of the modern brewpub scene. If you want waiters you should probably check out the many restaurants in the area. read more

We had an awesoe experience there one friday night . We were group of 9 guys and had lot of fun The beer are amazing . We loved #1 and #10 and the prices are real brewery price . 3 beers 10 oz each added to only 18 bucks. It is self service for drinks and food and no wait staff. The food is amazing as well. We got Nachos with their own homemade beer cheese on top and it was one of the nice nachos we have seen in a brewery. The pretzels were amazing with their own housemade grainy mustard. Beers are great, with a heavy emphasis on multiple NE Hazy IPA's at one time. Food is secondary, decent, but you are going for the beers.

If you're into hazy IPAs, the beer is top notch! The flights off a great way to taste many of the options on the menu. Ordering food is self service, you have to order at the bar and then pick the food up yourself. We ordered the nachos, loaded up with shredded chicken and guacamole. They're a good size and fun to share. The falafel gyro is always a great option. The falafel has a nice crunch without being dry on the inside or greasy on the outside. The new addition to the menu, the fried chicken sandwich, is also delicious. The outside is crunchy, but the chicken was extremely juicy inside. It can get a little loud inside sometimes when it's crowded after work. If you're looking for a little more quiet, there's a second level you can sit on that's usually a little quieter. Worth noting that the parking out front can sometimes fill up, but there's plenty more out back. read more

One of my favorite breweries in NH! They have incredible beers, mostly IPAs but they do have some good sours and lagers too. Wish they would bring back Synapse though :( As well as very good food that usually comes out pretty quick. I wish they had a little more variety on their menu though, or had their pizza available on normal days too. But my go to is the smash burger and it's always so good. They do accommodate a peanut/ treenut allergy which is nice. The one thing about the space is that it can get pretty loud in there especially with live music, but it's not unbearable. There's lots of tables on both levels but it can still get crowded especially on weekends. Always love coming here and they continue to make great beer and food! read more

Spyglass Brewing Company is one of the more recent breweries I've got to try in the last few weeks that I haven't experienced or tasted before and very glad that I did. The beer I had was their Cintra Singularity. The Singularity comes in more than one version but the one I had involved Citra Hops for this Double IPA. Citusy, fruity, Hoppy, Smooth and with a Zip this fluffy IPA is an enjoyable one and wonderful to kick back and enjoy with. read more

I visited this brewery last weekend en route to Lake Winnipesaukee with my wife and two kids. I give it 3 stars, though it could've easily been 4. The beer, food and service were excellent. However, the excessive signage dictating what we could and couldn't do felt very uninviting. It was like they were waiting for you to slip up--breathing the wrong way might get you kicked out! I understand having rules and expectations for guests but having a sign every 4 feet is unnecessary. read more

This place is great! Lots of parking available. Lots of seating, but it always seems to be filled with kids. So if you're looking for a kid free vibe, this isn't it. Ordering is done at the bar, and the line can get LONG. If you like IPAs, you will really like this place, they have a TON and always seem to be releasing new ones. I do like their sours, they are a little "thicker" than I usually enjoy but they have great flavor (and they are popular, they were sold out last time I was there.) Put web ordering in or pos devices around to make it easier. Charging $3 for each can of diet coke is terrible. Same price that I can get beer on the menu. Discouraging responsible groups with a DD. After much fanfare and probably a lot of money (or PPP "funding", who knows) invested, this is what we get? It took 2-3 years to turn a nice little brewery into a large and sterile place with really nothing much for itself but the proximity of some businesses and hotels to hope for foot traffic. The original Spyglass on Amherst was great, the beer tasted great and the atmosphere was busy/noisy like a pub as it should. Now, we're into a huge building with the usual oh-so-original trendy industrial look, but the whole thing feels more like a mall or airport food court than anything else. The beer definitely doesn't taste as good as before, the food is mediocre at best and feel microwaved, the ordering is nonsensical as if to create lines on purpose. It is unfortunate and very disappointing, it feels like quality has been replaced with quantity on all aspects. Mediocre is what comes to mind now, which is not what Spyglass meant before. read more

The beer is great but they really need waiters instead of this goofy order-at-the-counter system. I had to get two drinks just so I didn't have to get back in the line. They only had twenty people working, but nobody servicing tables. Welcome to the new world. The beer selection is heavy on IPAs. My least favorite style. I don't know how you drink that stuff. Visited on a busy Saturday night. Overall, I'd recommend Spyglass...with some caveats. They do flights, which is always a good way to sample a variety of beers at a brewery/taproom. But, in actuality, flights are the most expensive way of drinking at Spyglass. There's not a flight price, but rather the smallest - flight size - pour is $3.00. So a traditional flight of say 5 beers is $15.00. That's kind of pricey, especially when considering that you can get a considerably larger (12oz? They don't use normal pint glasses here, so their "pint" in a tulip glass may be only 12oz.) pour for $5. Just note...flights are are expensive here. They probably sell a lot of them and they are priced accordingly. The beer itself is decent. I found most pretty heavily carbonated and the selection is very heavily weighted to IPA. Yeah, I guess that's what the market expects. But all in all the beer was pleasurable and very mainstream on the whole...definitely targeted at the middle of the road, and it hits that target. Food is surprisingly good for a burgers/nachos/wings/salads like of place. Presentation is not their bag, but it was really ok. The only two downsides I'd want to note are the lack of waiters in lieu of the (as someone else here accurately describes it) "goofy" stand in a stupid-long line to order at the bar method. That just stinks. Especially when there are plenty of employees wandering the room eager to take your empty glasses and trays. Could these folks not be employed as waitstaff? It's just silly and inconvenient...and frankly discouraging of business/sales. My party would have ordered more beers and food if we didn't have to walk to the bar and do it ourselves. The other downside are the children. Not to be a grumpster, but let's just say that if you aren't looking for a kid vibe...one akin to hanging out at the playground on a Saturday afternoon with a bunch of 30-somethings and their toddler offspring, then you might want to think about going somewhere else. But hey, if you are looking for the playground with beer, then this might just be your new favorite place. Probably not a good idea for a date night unless things have progressed sufficiently far along so that you want to know how she/he feels about starting a family. read more

Awesome beer! When a nano brewery has a rating on Untapped of 4.16 on over 30,000 ratings, they're doing something right. I visited the taproom with my sister on a busy Friday afternoon in May. The taproom doesn't have a large amount of seating thanks to the pandemic, but we were able to snag a table. I only had one beer since I was driving and this wasn't our first or last stop. But, I'm so glad I chose the Heliosphere. It's a really juicy NEIPA, so good! My sister had a flight and liked them all. No food. Beer and merch available for purchase. Spyglass has some great basic beers! Nothing fruity or sour, mostly IPAs with a few blonde ale's sprinkled in. I'm not into the IPA scene so my personal faves were: Levitation and Dark Roots. Both are mellow and easy to drink. The owners are always around and while not super talkative were still very friendly and helpful! Place is clean and plenty of seating, few seats at the bar and lots of tables. The only thing missing is a couple TVs to watch a game or something. read more
