I walked in around 10 mins before closing on a Friday (after work) and I think it was the owner who helped me. She was so sweet and helpful. She didn't turn me away and made me 6 lahmajunes fresh! And I also ordered 5 pies. As I was driving home, the delicious aromas filled my car and my nose. We warmed up both the lahmajunes and pies in the air fryer on a low setting just to be served hot. Everything was so delicious! You should try squeezing some fresh lemon on top of each bite of lahmajune, it's epic! I'm a huge fan of their lamajun (Armenian pizza)--perfectly spiced, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The spicy cheese borek was another standout: rich, cheesy, with just the right kick. And don't sleep on the cheese rolls either--simple but addictive. One bite of their za'atar and I was instantly transported back to my childhood--flavors like that don't come around often, and it was a special kind of nostalgic. This is our second time getting goodies from Anna's! Definitely the best Lahmajune I've had! Love putting a squeeze of lemon on it, and it's absolutely perfect. It's big for the price! Love the Borek as well, and the potato is my fave! The Za'atar bread is so soft, coated with some flavorful spices. And don't forget the Baklava! So tasty, we have to be careful, not eat the entire box and one sitting! Service has been great and everything is packaged well. There's no seating area so everything needs to be taken to go. We don't have anything like Anna's in Flagstaff, AZ, so the next time we are back in the area, I'll have to figure out if I can somehow freeze some of this! Always wanted to try this place and luckily I was on that side of town. Walked in and was immediately greeted with a friendly hello. I believe it was the owner and he proceeded to explain their food to me. I was lucky and was able to order (3) borek's, the cheese, spicy cheese and beef. They are like an empanada, pillowy bundles of dough and fillings, all (3) were amazing. Also ordered (2) of the Lahmajune's which are thin & crispy round pizza like flats with meat, veggies and the right amount of spices, amazing. I ate both in my truck in their parking lot . Baklava was also good, but wish they'd use honey instead of only syrup. They do not provide napkins or utensils. It's a tiny shop so no dine-in.
