Aesthetic spot in the downtown with very accommodating service. SERVER made us feel special with a CHEESE BOARD which was versatile and delicate with pretty decent portions. He also really worked with us to turn on the FIREPLACE which was cozy and set the vibes and made the experience. The winery actually grows grapes in the west and east coast so it would be fun to try the differences when the wine flight is available. read more

What a fun tasting room! In the heart of the Funk Zone, it's still a hidden gem! We got a bottle of Rose! Light and refreshing! Hints of watermelon and strawberries! We came to the winery to play bingo on a Monday night and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wine. A service was on point and they had some limited small bites. We had a good sized charcuterie board with a variety of goodies. Bingo was fun, we never won. read more

Great wine, dog friendly and good service?? Sign me up. Just a block off the busy State st, the space is very nice and has both indoor and outdoor seating. We were able to bring our dog inside to enjoy our wine. I love Pinot noir and didn't see a flight with just Pinot noir so decided to get glasses of wine. We were able to try a couple wines before committing to a glass. The Pinot was awesome. Fruity and light but still with some complexity. read more

Had a lovely time wine tasting in their outdoor patio. Service was great - the girls were all really sweet, explained the wines, and paced the tasting well . I enjoyed my flight of reds and whites but nothing I wanted to go home with. Charcuterie board was great ! Really great experience trying this new (to my friend and I) tasting room! We were glad the easily accommodated that we wanted to split a wine tasting. And considering how generous their pours were so glad we did! Loved how they put it all together on a stand it was so easy to go around a circle tontry the wines. Really nice area to sit. It wasn't cold enough for the fire pit to be on but I know it would have been lovely. read more

Excellent service and very friendly staff!! My husband and I were looking for a place to have a glass of wine to end our day and after being turned away from Corks n Crowns for having our baby with us that it almost put a damper on our vacation until we found this place. Such a great vibe! This sparkling rosé is not only delicious, but 30% of the proceeds go to supporting CA firefighters families. Fun fact: the painting in the photo was painted by actor Billy Zane, and the art is used on the bottle. My boyfriend recommended this place while we were visiting Santa Barbara. The vibes are very sleek and modern, but still welcoming. Our server was nice and gave wine recommendations to us, but ultimately I went with the Syrah that my boyfriend recommended. The Syrah was very easy to drink and smooth. It had a nice fruity taste to it, but not to where it was overwhelmingly sweet. We also got served a lot for our glass so that's always a plus! Give it a try if you are in the area! read more

Went here for the first time for the line dancing. The place is nice and the dancing was fun. BUT.. we walked up and asked for two glasses of Pinot and the bartender poured us 2 glasses without letting us know our options or pricing. It came to $70! For 2 glasses of wine!! Outrageous that she poured a very high priced wine without any discussion of options or price. Really disappointed and we will never go back.. I am from the restaurant business and this is just rude. read more

We had really great seats where we sat in the indoor shade but got the outdoor breeze, however, after about 30 minutes, we were fully in the sun. This winery was unique because they gave us a carousel, however, it did take a bit away from the intimate and personalized wine experience and learning about each wine. read more

This was a nice place to sit and sip on a glass of wine. We missed the outdoor entertainment and they ran out of bread but we still had a good time. The service was great. They also have outdoor heat lamps and are dog friendly. They're also associated with the Sando Truck that sells Japanese katsu & egg sandwiches on the lot. What a cute spot! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as space heaters for when it gets chilly. Our server was friendly and attentive, providing great recommendations on what we should order. We ordered a glass of the sauv blanc and the rosé. Both were crisp and refreshing, perfect to sip outside on a sunny day. We definitely appreciated their generous pours and were fully satisfied with the cheese board which had 4-5 different cheeses. It also came with two types of crackers, macadamia nuts, dried raisins, and honeycomb. The perfect snack to accompany our wine! Overall, I'd highly recommend! Probably would've given this a five star review, because the wines were good, the vibes were right, and the food service in the lot with oysters was on Point, but took a star off for a rude staff member that accused us of not properly chaperoning our children on the putting green out front. When in fact, I was watching them, but had to turn away for a brief second to pay for something. The staff member could a very easily asked us to play closer attention to the children, but instead, they came on very strong, making accusations in a root tone that were completely unfounded. In fact to my child was accused of encroaching on another child space, when in fact, my child had the imprint of a golf ball on his shirt (It was preserved in the ice cream spilled on his shirt), that another "supervised" child had thrown at him. Rather than appropriately, assessed situation and ask us kindly what had going on, and whether or not, we were watching the child, he came on very strong. It kind of ruined the mood of the entire visit. Not his kid friendly as it pretends to be. read more

Their wine and vibe are good, but the use of plastic cups for EACH AND EVERY tasting is so off-putting and environmentally insensitive that we won't go back. Instead of doing a Yelp post I reached out to them directly and got a "thanks for your suggestion." My husband, who is seldom Mr. Environmentalist, said he wouldn't go back because putting good wine in a petroleum-based product is just dumb. It's time for everyone, both consumers and producers, to prioritize environmental consciousness and take steps to reduce waste. The idea of replacing glassware with plastic, even if it leads to slightly more expensive tastings for the guests, is worth considering for its environmental benefits. read more

Incredible wine, great vibes, and super friendly workers! We got a wine flight to get a well-rounded experience of what this place has to offer. I thought I would struggle to get through the red wines because I prefer lighter, dry white wines but I was pleasantly surprised by the reds! Each wine we went through was actually super easy on the palette. I can definitely see anyone being able to enjoy the selection they have here even if they are not a wine person. Left a inquiry for reservations received a voicemail I called back several times no response. Booked a trip and showed up with 12 guest and was refused service very rudely. I'm still shocked in management behavior he's very prejudiced towards African American women. Shortly after another group arrived and asked for availability "African American women" and was refused service very rudely. When asked for a business card manager refused and told us he didn't care if we wrote a review about the establishment. I had been following them on social media and reached out to complete the process of reservation. The manager needs anger management and management training he's not very professional. I will not patronize nor refer anyone too. Bad business owner needs to check who they have a manager these days. They don't even deserve one star...they don't deserve any. read more

Met up with some friends at this spot recently and it was awesome! A perfect sunny afternoon in Santa Barbara with live music playing outside and lots of people gathered around drinking wine! We were able to snag a table inside right away. The staff working were really attentive to our table and took our order pretty quick. I loved the Rosé we ordered- it was a $35 bottle but perfect for what we wanted and tasted delicious! I appreciate the selection of wines on their menu. Felt like a good variety and price range. This wine bar is located in the Funk Zone near a ton of other bars and restaurants. Parking is fairly easy, with a parking lot and lots of free street parking available too. The wine glasses and tastings are reasonably priced, at about $30 for a flight and an average price of $16 a glass. They have a variety of white, red, and rose wines available (but no orange wines). The service is quick and there's both indoor and outdoor seating available. The food menu is limited but when we went on a Saturday evening, there was an Italian food truck right outside we could get food from and being to the bar. Overall this is a chill wine bar that's good for groups when the weather is nice and you can enjoy the patio! read more

This review rating is for lack of service. I visited this establishment unexpectedly. My party had just finished enjoying a wonderful dinner at a nearby restaurant and decided to stop in for a glass of wine and recap. The winery had one party seated inside of about 3-4 people. One service member was working. We sat outside near the fire pit which was quite nice. It took a very long time for us to get any drinks ordered as the service member did not return outside once we sat down. I looked inside and he was chitchatting the entire time with the party inside. I finally had to get up and get his attention inside. We ordered our wine , which was good. We didn't see the server again and at some point he came outside and said he was closing and we needed to close out. We weren't finished with our glasses of wine we had ordered , but he offered a plastic to go cup for us. We paid our bill and were informed printed receipts weren't available. This is a cool place to return to , but I'd buy a bottle of wine, sit outside and not expect any service. The fire pit atmosphere and tasty wine are worth another shot. read more

We went in specifically for their M5 and Riviera Rose, but discovered their extensive selection of other varietals and vintages. It was chilly so she tried to light the heat lamp at my request but both that one and the replacement did not work. The replacement actually had the propane disconnected so I assume someone knew that tank needed to be changed out but didn't do it. The other tables from the large party were full of wine glasses and a half eaten pizza. Those sat there for over an hour, and we watched several groups of people come but leave without being seated because no server was available yo seat them and the only open table hadn't been cleared. When it was finally cleared, one guest at a near by table commented that the pizza shouldn't go to waste. The girl who cleared the table initially carried it inside but came right back out with it and served it to that guest whose kid ate it. I'm all for not wasting food and if the guest had gotten up and grabbed the pizza himself, that would be one thing... but to serve old food that had been sitting out for a long time to a guest is a no no for a business. We otherwise enjoyed most of the wines in our tasting flight. Would've given 5 stars if service had been more timely, tables cleared and old food not served up.

You'll also find Live DJ's, Karaoke, Trivia Nights, Live Music, Bingo, Happy/Hoppy Hours . . . and sometimes dancing in the streets.

We hung back for a few minutes while the staff dealt with safely walking all the customers out and I spoke with Elias who is the GM. He was extremely polite and apologetic. He too understood that working with Fandango was problematic and he offered to take my information and see if he, or the corporate office of the theater, could help. I left my information with hope, but no great expectations. Well today I got my socks blown off! I received an email from Elias and he is working with Fandango. He just needs my confirmation information from them to try and facilitate a refund. At this point, the ball is in Fandango's court! I am so impressed with Elias and the staff of Metro 4 Theatre in Santa Barbara. In this age of digital processing and service by text it was so refreshing to deal with a professional who cared about the company, the job and the customer. Speaking to someone who was willing to go the extra mile was such a wonderful experience. I am so thankful to Elias and his team and would recommend this little theater to anyone in the area. We were really excited to visit this winery after hearing great things about its atmosphere, music, and wine selection. The venue is indeed beautiful, with lovely outdoor seating and a fun vibe, especially with the live DJ. However, we were disappointed by the service, when we arrived, it took 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, even though others who came after were served first. The waitress who helped us was extremely kind, but the rest of the staff didn't make us feel welcomed and we were ignored a few times. Before we get to the wine itself, let's go over something good, and something not so good... The good: The ambiance. It's nice and relaxing in here. The bad: They charge $35 for a tasting, and give the teeniest-tiniest tasting I've ever experienced. Stingy AF. The pourer seemed really nice too... I was so surprised with the pour sizes. And (not to toot my own horn) I'm not a wine novice. We've done a LOT of tasting - and I've never come across such stingy pours. They even knew that my wife and I got one of each of their tastings so we could share and try all the wines... and just no love on the pour side. So $70 for a pair of really weak tasting. Now the wine itself... Meh... The 2019 Lieu Dit Chenin Blanc was just bad... there were three stand-outs and the rest weren't bad, but also nothing to write home about. The three stands outs were the Tyler Chardonnay which came far from knocking our socks off, but was good stuff. And the two killer bottles were the Tyler Pinot Noir, Nentrock Vineyard (not the Estate - which was actually pretty good. Again... good quality, but nothing to write home about) and the Tyler Cabernet Sauvignon. Those two bottle were fantastic! The bummer is, they're just not worth the price point. Those two bottles are $85 and $70 respectively. They were great... but not $85 great. Just a bummer the price point didn't match the wine. If they were a $45 bottle, we would have left with both of them I think. We were also kind of bummed because we have been in a big Cab Fran phases lately, and they have two types, and neither were very good. One better than the other... but just not in the same ballpark as the Cab Franc's we've had lately (like at Andrew Murray, Carhartt, Holus Bolus etc.). In closing, if you don't have much time in Santa Barbara, I wouldn't slot this into your itinerary... but if you live in town and want to try something different, definitely check it out. Maybe get a glass of the Netcok Vineyard Pinot or the Cab and enjoy the atmosphere. Again... this isn't BAD wine by any stretch. It's good (mostly)... It's just in a an ultra competitive region and the price point is super high for what it is.
