He replaced the battery at a cost of approximately $300. The very next day, the gate stopped working again. He came the next day and conveniently claimed that the main control board had been damaged by a power surge and told me it needed to be replaced at an additional cost of about $750. To make matters worse, he failed to arrive at the the time I was given. As a result, he left without programming the remote control and the keypad. Later, I was told that, for legal reasons, he was not authorized to perform the programming. At no point before the appointment was I informed of this restriction. Had I been told in advance, I would have made sure someone was present. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. I have paid significant amounts of money, and the communication and customer service have been unacceptable.

A final walkthrough has not been performed. When they finished construction, one of the partners went through our neighbor's yard to jump the fence and find me in the backyard. I knew they were coming by that same day of completion to collect but never furnished a time. My comments about the quality of the workmanship to one of the partners were ignored.

Dean was great to work with, responsive, and provided timely updates as to when they would be able to come out and get the work done. Communication was 10/10. They had to schedule us out a bit to get the work done, but we didn't mind as fences were down all over the city due after the storm. They dropped off the fence materials the day prior, and got all work done within the expected time frame. Used quality cedar, that looks way better than the stuff my neighbor's 'guy' used. I rarely give a poor review but I am just so disappointed in this company. I felt like they did a…read moregood job for the most part but I had a couple small issues. One... the fence was not level with the gate and two... when you close the gate it sags to the point where it hits and does not self close. I contacted Dean regarding this and he stated they would come out that week to take a look. They never came and after almost two months of trying to contact them, I have given up. I have emailed, texted, called, and left messages but they refuse to answer. Really sad because I would have given them a very good review initially and probably recommended them to friends and clients. I would not recommend them. Thanks - paul
