We got brisket and pulled pork with macaroni, fries, and onion rings. Kraft Mac n cheese from the box tastes better than this Mac n cheese, though it looked good. The onion rings were large but had no flavor, it was the weirdest thing because they had thick slices of onion...they were crispy and flavorless. The fries were thick cut, but also flavorless. The pulled pork was okay, needed more seasoning. The brisket wasn't that great. For a BBQ place, the BBQ was not that good. The sweet tea was great! We are from Indiana and stopped on our way to Florida. The food was really good. I had the smoked turkey, collard greens and deviled eggs. My turkey was the best I've ever had. Not dry at all, the collard green(yes please) and the deviled eggs as good as homemade. It was more than I could eat. My husband had the catfish, Mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes. He said it was amazing. The cat fish was one of the best he ever had, the Mac and cheese, was okay, but the fried green tomatoes was some of the best ever. Let me start by saying, I love BBQ. I cook it as a hobby and I have been known to plan stops on long road trips based on good BBQ spots. We recently moved into the area and decided to try this place out on a Friday night. I was a little skeptical at first because of the other reviews. The drive through was surprisingly fast and friendly. I ordered the BBQ pork family meal which came with 2 large sides and a pound of BBQ pork. I also ordered a 6 piece order of smoked wings. When I asked what kind of BBQ sauces they had I was informed that they only had one kind of BBQ sauce. This was a little disappointing, but the one they did have was actually pretty good. They did have one other sauce that comes with the chicken wings which was the Alabama White BBQ sauce. This is a personal favorite of mine and I have made it many times when smoking chicken. Their version of it was surprisingly good and probably one of the best of its kind at any restaurant. That is unless you go get it straight from the source at Bob Gipson's restaurant in Decatur. The pork had good flavor, but was ground up very fine as if they had stuck it in a food processor. I prefer my BBQ pork to be pulled. This caused it to be slightly dry, but it wasn't anything a little BBQ sauce couldn't fix. The smoked wings and white bbq sauce were excellent and I would definitely come back just to have more. For our 2 sides we chose Mac n' Cheese and Potato salad. Both sides were good. Overall the food was decent and I would probably come back to try some of their other meats and to order more wings. Do not listen to some of these other negative reviews. It is not nearly as bad as they make it out to be. I have definitely found some terrible BBQ restaurants in Alabama, but this is not one of them. Try it out. read more

Well, here's the thing. The food is totally okay. It wasn't awful and it wasn't amazing. I got the fried catfish with collard greens and Mac n cheese. The breading on the catfish was thick and very crunchy, much unlike the loved thin cornmeal batter I was expecting. It almost resembles the breading of a chicken Parmesan dish. It wasn't terrible but again, not amazing. The greens were good, had a good flavor, and the Mac was fine. Not disappointing but I didn't finish it which I think speaks for itself. My husband got the chicken and pulled pork and the chicken had great flavor but was incredibly dry. We were the only car in line and it took probably ten minutes to get our food, which can be argued is better if they're cooking it on the spot but dang... the service was great though, everyone was very polite. Okay the kicker. THE PRICE! We paid over $35 for our meal and the portions were not generous. That's outrageous for fast food but for southern food?! We won't be back. read more

Once the order was completed and delivered I opened it to find only riblets. So I ask if this is the one that is at EastChase. Finally, she knew that! I come up here and flag someone down to get my order corrected. I drove 10 miles for the french fries attached. Should have saved money by going to McDonalds and getting a McRib meal. At least I'd have some fries with my meat. The riblets weren't much better, I just tossed the whole plate out. Oh my goodness this could have been so great! Saw some reviews, it smelled wonderful, but, alas, no. Customer Service: What customer service? Whomever was taking my order barely even spoke to me! Only enough to say: "Yeah?" when I drove up, "Anything else", and "Go to the Window" on an order of three items with drinks and questions. When I got to the window, again, no greeting, just a hand out the window for my payment. No confirmation of the order, no "Thank You", not even "Just a moment", just a slam of the window. When the food was prepared I have to saw I almost felt as though it was thrown through the window at me! And, no, I was nice, tried to be friendly. Not a bitch! Food: Oh what a disappointment. Granted, the customer service experience may have put me off, but I still expected at least some good food. Of all the items we had: Loaded Potatoe, Macaroni, Cole Slaw, Brisket, Fried Chicken, the only thing that was good was the brisket. It was tender and tasted good, though not great. All the other items were questionable. Whatever was going on at that restaurant that night I feel badly for anyone else who drove up or patronized the place. The owner was super friendly and brought my young boys dipped cookies as one of them had to wait slightly longer for part of his order which was not long at all. I just returned from Full Moon Montgomery with a lager order which contained a three bone rib sandwich. I called the restaurant immediately requesting to speak with the manager. After holding for a considerable amount of time someone picked up then clicked the call off without saying anything. I called immediately called back, again after holding for a considerable time waiting for the manager to acknowledge the call, a member of the team responded stating "the manager was not available." I advised her I would call back. Over the past couple of months visiting the establishment and ordering the rib sandwich via the drive thru window the quality has been a great disappointment! The ribs are small with very little, meat that's too tough to chew or eat! Wasted money on ribs that I can feed only to my K9! On the previous purchase I did not call to complain nor do a review. This time, I felt it had become the restaurant's common practice to give their drive thru customers the scrap ribs because they know the gas cost is greater than the time spent on a return trip back. I am upset about the repeated wasted money and still not having an editable meal and their management failing to answer the call to hear their customers frustrated complaint to offer a plausible resolution. This is a new barbecue spot in the city that opened in November of 2017. I finally stopped in and they were very very crowded, this is normal for all new restaurants in Montgomery and it usually wears off in about 6 months, hoping that I'm wrong here. The staff was fantastic and the food was okay, the meats had a good smoke flavor and were tender but they didn't have the best of flavor. All of the sides that we tried were really good and the give you something called chow chow which is a side I think but it didn't look appealing so I passed on it but all of my friends said it was really good. They also have a nice selection of desserts that were really good. Give them a try if you are in the area as I will probably go back but overall I would say that it was just average. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Typically it's relatively safe to eat at full moon with my gluten allergy because I can get a potato and good to go. First thing is that they ran out of potatoes in the middle of lunch, so ended up having to get a BBQ plate. The plate comes with bread so requested no bread and made them aware of the allergy. Well the food comes out not only with bread but it is in the middle of the meats and overlapping the sides. Sent it back making the allergy known again. Brought the SAME plate back that they had just taken the bread out. Waitress said she would take it back and remake it and apologized, which I didn't mind the mistake, but it took all of 5 seconds before she was back with the same plate. It was very obvious because the outline of where they poured the sauce over the bread was obvious as well as where it was sitting on top of the pork. Rude service and very dishonest. Terrible experience! Random drive by when passing through Montgomery and hungry. The drive thru menu board was overwhelming initially. The girl through the speaker was so abrupt that I would barely finish asking for an item and she'd repeatedly cut me off to say "anything else". Keep in mind, no one else was in the drive thru. When I pulled up to the window, the girl continued to be abrupt, not friendly at all. She handed me a little drink and I asked if it was a kids size. I guess she assumed I wanted a small. She was handing me stuff so fast abruptly saying "here you go" before you you could set down the first thing she handed you. I finally said, "you are moving too fast. You don't give time to order. You're rushing at the window." She said "yeah", turned her back and closed the window. When the person packing my bag of food went to hand it to her to give to me, she wouldn't do it. She kept her back to me and pointed backwards over her shoulder for them to hand it to me while she stood there. Then I drive off and the fries were barely warm.
