I purchased 3 introductory classes and immediately fell in love with this place. I saw people from all ages and exercise levels. I signed up for a membership. Within one month I was doing exercises that I had never done before. Most of them I thought I couldn't do. But the trained staff showed me, patiently, how to do it and let me do it at my level. In one month I have been able to run, which I couldn't do, and my blood sugar dropped 100 points. The bonus is that I lost 14 lbs as well. It doesn't matter what your fitness level is. The class starts late, you warm up stretch, and before you know it what is suppose to be a 45 minute class is 15-20 minutes. If you count the rests in between you're lucky if you get a good 15 minute workout in. Now I perfectly understand that this is a special; however the point of specials is to get people so fired up for your gym that you'll sign up whatever the costs. Nope not the case here and I for one was very very disappointed. This is my third time doing CROSSFIT and this one for sure was my worst experience. Gave them two stars because the actual members looked like they were having a good workout. In the mean time the last time I went, I was like you can keep the money. Thanks for not investing in your newcomers, and basically robbing me of almost $200.00. Recommendation? Don't sign up for their specials!

Now my fiancé and I wanted to get in shape for our wedding next year and we knew we had to start now. I chose PE fitness studio because it had the ambiance I wanted, a comfortable setting to work out that was a typical gym. They host small group classes and one on ones, so you won't catch some creep in a machine in the corner slowly moving while staring at you. Perfect. Not looking to go to a gym. I need someone to motivate me to not quit and just sit there. Laurel suggested we start with 20 half hour sessions with me and my fiancé. I couldn't commit so I agreed on 15 but will definitely be buying more. She motivates me by chatting me up about my favorite topics to get me forget about the agonizing pain in my butt as I squat across the room. You think 30 mins isn't a lot, but when you mix in cardio and the deathly push ups, trust me, it is. Laurel is a sweetheart and doesn't let me quit! The other day she threatened me with burpees if I tried to cheat on my across the room squats, aka I ran halfway across the room when she wasn't looking! Laurel is a sweetheart and soooooo flexible with scheduling. I 100% suggest one on one training with her. It's pricier than a gym but let's be honest, you weren't going to the gym. You're less likely to cancel when you have a wonderful sweet woman waiting on you!!! Did I mention she has an adorable pit bull puppy and she texts me photos of him all the time??? Because she does! She also checks in the next day to see how you're doing. This warm renovated mill Is the best place to force yourself to do something that we all know I 100% don't want to do! Join join join!!!!! The first time around I used their provided earbuds which were very uncomfortable. My ears are known to be small, and afterwards I was sore, so this time, I remembered my own ear bud loops for loud noises. I love how they are still offered for free because my gym anxiety is very high and I felt brave going today by myself after the free Yelp event. Really motivating and fast pace! You WILL get a good cardio workout with strength work! The bathroom was well equipped with scrunchies, deodorant, and body spray and feminine products. All bathrooms are gender neutral, and has two shower rooms. Each shower room has body wash, shampoo, and conditioner! I haven't tried it yet, but maybe I will if I needed too~ felt very inviting versus other daunting gym showers I've seen in the past. My last point is how friendly everyone is! As mentioned before, I DO enjoy the gym, but I can get easily overwhelmed by gym anxiety. I liked how the staff had such friendly smiles and were inviting but also, let us be (hopefully that makes sense). They didn't pay too much attention to me, and let me slide into the class with no "FIRST TIME FRIEND?!" Vibe other places attempt~ I felt included and in the zone right off the start. Will continue!

They aren't some greedy corporate business looking to take every penny from you. It's a family run business that look to provide the best services for you. When I was inquiring about a membership, they guy didn't try to sell me on it at all. He just went over what they offer and gave me everything I needed and told me that I could go home and think about it and just to come back if I was interested or to call if I had any further questions. I went back the next morning and there was a different guy working the counter. He was a riot. He walked me through the gym again like I requested and he was just a total hoot. He really made me feel welcome. I was very impressed by how family oriented this place felt. The workers knew the members names when they walked in. Everyone got an acknowledgement. I really like the feel for this place. They don't have annual fees or start up fees for their membership. (Like I said they really aren't trying to screw you in any way possible) I can't wait to really utilize this facility. I'm excited!
