I contracted with District Detail primarily for cleaning the car, but told them I'd be happy with whatever improvement could be made with the body paint. Got the car back literally sparkling inside and out and they made tremendous improvement with the paint - and they were even able to re-clip the front bumper skirt that had gotten snagged and pulled out of place years ago! Steven kindly offered to try an additional product on some of the spots of missing paint which I'll be taking the car back for. Pricing was great and they were FAST; car was in at 7am and done by 2pm (the last time I took my car in for interior detailing at a chain company, they took nearly 3 days!) For my husband's birthday, I bought him a Groupon for these guys' services (where you call them, they come to you, and clean your car). #2. I called to make an appointment, told them I had a Groupon, and the guy asked me for the Groupon code, which I gave him because I figured he needed it or something to make the appointment. (I didn't think, for example, that he would LIE and mark it "redeemed" before providing the services). #3. On the day of the appointment, no one shows up. No one calls. We call, no one answers. #4. Eventually (i.e., after DAYS of trying), we get someone on the phone, and they chalk it up to just being really busy that day... which doesn't really explain why they never CALLED us to cancel. But, you know, second chances are important, so we make another appointment. #5. Lo and behold, on the day of the second appointment, no one shows up. No one calls. We call, no one answers. #6. My husband gets the owner's contact info from his response to a review below - contacts him multiple times, and we have never heard back from him or the company. #7. I contact Groupon to report the issue, and they tell me that the business had already cashed in the Groupon as REDEEMED. Unbelievable. In sum - STAY AWAY. No bueno. Shameful. #nosir
