Full Throttle is a great spot in downtown Branson that we found after a recent canoe trip. My friend had brisket and it looked really good. I went with the catfish, green beans, and house chips. The catfish was very flaky and a good sized portion for a reasonable price. We didn't have any drinks, but they have a wide variety of moonshine and a full bar. The service was good and they had some nice gifts. Overall, nice spot in downtown Branson, and definitely recommend checking it out!

Great beer and whiskey selection. Love the bar stools. Bartender was nice. Food was great and came out fast . All and all good place, however I noted that it wasn't busy at all and I came in for lunch.

Service was great, food came out pretty quick too. Fries were good and crispy but the Nachos were the star for me. I was on the fence about them and the server talked me into it, so glad she did. There were two fatty/gristle pieces in the burnt ends but that was the only complaint. Will go back again.

This place has a neat vibe. We went for a quick breakfast, as it's super close to the Branson Convention Center. We were greeted right away and our waiter was top notch. The menu has a wide variety to pick from; healthy to hang over food. Our portions were ample, nobody is going to leave hungry for sure. My son ordered the chicken and waffles, he said it was good. Stop the presses, he couldn't eat it all. I'm not sure I have seen that happen in 16 years. I ordered the breakfast biscuit. The biscuit was fluffy with a crisp top and bottom, the bacon was not super crunchy, but tasted good. It was good, but a little salty for me. The hash browns came in a nice serving size, tasted good, but needed to bake a little longer. My true love can be found here. The regular drip coffee was good and not too strong or weak. There is also a specialty coffee shop, which we did not try. It looks like it converts into a fun bar. The food was pretty good. We will try it again.

First- the service was stellar. It was a busy Sunday and we came hungry but had reservations for the train across the street. We told our waiter that and instead of being annoyed, he did everything within his power to get us in and out in just over an hour. The food- was soooo good. They have a variety of sauces at the table that were fun to sample and they had something for everyone! They have a gift shop area and you can buy liquor, sample liquor, buy souvenirs and their house made barbecue sauce. We were stuffed by the time we left and felt like we definitely got our moneys worth in quality food.

Service was spot on. Friendly staff. Plenty of seating. Food was fantastic. Fried bologna sandwich was so tasty. The brisket rangoons were tasty. I didn't get a picture of it but the brisket queso so creamy and flavorful. The bloody Mary was good. Spicy. We will definitely be back.

Ambiance was awesome! Total distillery feel inside with barrels and theme on point! Complimentary coffee and 3 tasters of liqour were the cherry on top! Service was great, place was packed and everything had great flavor! Also don't miss their gift shop on your way out!

The food was pleasant, baked beans were the best, the waitress Madison is really good and fun to mess with. It's Full Throttle so the whole restaurant is defiantly done right.

Pleasantly surprised! Worried it was going to be a touristy Branson spot but we were pleasantly surprised. You can smell the BBQ from outside. Great patio, friendly staff, and a fun half-restaurant/half-store setup. Brisket and beans were perfect, cornbread tasty but a bit dry. Portions are generous, drinks in mason jars are a nice touch. We'll definitely be back!

The Full Throttle Distillery was really a great experience. The building itself is very nice, and there is a large area for waiting up front to be seated. The food was excellent. I had the smoked turkey club and it was fantastic. The menu for kids was perfect and had all the staples. The largest complaint that I have is regarding the seating time. When we arrived, we were the only group waiting and the tables were at maybe 25% of capacity. However, we still ended up standing around for 30+ minutes waiting for someone to even walk up and talk to us or welcome us into the restaurant. There was no one at the check in desk, so we just stood there looking to try and get a waiter/waitress to come check us in. This would easily be a 5 star review if it were not for that poor initial experience. Maybe next time will be better!

Super cool place in the heart of old Branson! Love the layout, coffee and alcohol tasting, and plenty of good things to buy to take home. Our server was a delightfully humorous man; punctual as well. The chicken sandwich my dad had looked awesome and he said tasted just as good! The brisket, while flavorful and tender, was dry to my taste. Pit beans and house made chips were better.

    Brisket skillet

I love the skillet brisket BUT this time Togo I got it and was less portion than what I had. For 18.00 it be nice to have more potatoes at least.

Sausage, fatty beef, cole slaw, Fries and Texas toast.

My wife and I are regulars in Branson and we saw FTD was open, note : we have been watching it go up for a year or so of as we come down to this area every year. On the site of an old non air conditioned antique mall, this transformation has been phenomenal. The interior was nice well lit and really screamed kick ass barbecue place. We were greeted and seated immediately and sat down at a table on the far left side of the restaurant that was wobbly, and the top felt like it was gonna come off no big deal. Our server came over and asked us what we wanted for drinks. He took our order for drinks and we were we going get the smoked pimento since it was happy hour cheese, but our server said hey try the smoked cream cheese you'll like it better so we did. The cream cheese was really excellent and was served with wontons, which is a cool way to do that. A Couple side notes they've been open since January however, they seem to be out of a lot of things which included paper towels in the men's room. We made them aware of it, and nobody seemed to do anything about it. As it comes down to ordering food, my wife loves a good pork chops so she decided to order the smoked pork chop. They're out of it. She wanted a loaded baked potato. They were out of it. She ordered beans instead they came back five minutes after our order was taken and said Sorry. The beans are still on the smoker and they'll be in there for another 20 minutes. She ended up getting the smoked chicken loaded, mashed potatoes, and green beans the chicken was good and juicy and had good flavor and the green beans were excellent. For my order, I was going to get a combo plate. I wanted to get sausage and lean beef. They were out of the particular sausage I wanted so I went with the standard sausage not gonna lie. The sausage was really fantastic, but the beef was a little bit sketchy I will provide a photo shortly of my plate so I can show what I'm talking about. Again the service is fantastic. I think they're just a little bit disorganized because we asked them to put on the baseball game, but they were kind of confused as to how to get the TVs to work correctly again no big deal that was kind of a special request. I wasn't gonna be butt hurt if it didn't come on. The coleslaw was coleslaw was wasn't remarkable didn't have really any flavor. Please understand this is not a negative review. I'm just used to a particular kind of barbecue since I'm from Kansas City. There was no smoke flavor on the beef and it was mostly fat. Again the sausage was fantastic. The fries were excellent. As for the sauces, they have four kinds. I have a spicy barbecue. I have an Ozarks outlaw. I have a mustard base and they have a standard barbecue sauce. I tried all four and all four did not fail and added a little bit of actual flavor to the beef. Overall, I give it 3 1/2 stars unfortunately I can't give a half star on this app or I would, but I will probably go back and hope the next time that we are there that they have all the things in that we want available.

TEXAN here & frequent visitor to TX Top 50 BBQ (TX Monthly updates every 4 yrs), which as you know…read moreis the king of the cuisine. I'm certain I've the experience to know what good BBQ is & isn't. And, boy howdy, this IS! Without a doubt, if Old 76 were in TX, they'd easily be on that coveted list of world renowned BBQ joints. That's truthfully rare to find outside the state. Situated exactly between Branson & West Branson, is this gem that's clean cut & the BBQ, sides too, is superbly executed. I'm not saying stuff to sound good. This is L E G I T, the real deal. They're pushing TRUE barbecue as it ought to be, not like some wannabe. I dare you to try any other place & find the same superb quality for ALL aspects. Get there before opening because the line gets long fast & the ordering takes time. There's limited seating that fills up quickly. I only wish it were larger in space & had the capacity for more help in front than 1 person. But for modestly using the limited space adjacent to a gas station, it's tastefully & professionally decorated & comfortable, just right for what it is, as opposed to the tacky, out-dated & sparse, or overdone interior that one tends to see elsewhere. Waiting for BBQ is honestly an experience & you must be prepared to wait your turn. That's how it is in TX for all the joints, folks ordering FCFS after waiting patiently in line for hours until sell-out. It's worth waiting on & building camaraderie with those about you. After all, you're about to celebrate gastronomically, I promise! Best sides: ALL of them but especially the corn casserole. You'd think it's vegetable bread pudding, it's so scrumptious!! Beans are no less than fantastic with bits of brisket - so warm & comforting. Potato salad is just a massive winner of full-mouthed goodness that's not typically mayo-ed down. Don't pass up the mighty fine coleslaw for topping your pulled-pork, pickles & bread for a highlight finish. Speaking of pickles, add more as a great acidic accompaniment. The sauce here is on the sweet side. It's really not needed AT ALL except to occasionally boost the flavor kick if taking leftovers for later. The meat's simple pepper & salt crust is all you need. & speaking of the Meats: Truly the star of the show as they should be. See the platter photo for yourself. Pick of choice or prime brisket. Prime for us. We could've appreciated a little bit thicker of a smoke ring but it was there despite the fast cook it probably endured. It needed to be a little less done on the fatty side but it was awfully tender anyway. Absolutely a winner brisket done right, so I can sweat the small stuff. All said, the perfect seasoning & bark set the tone & to me for brisket, that is most important. 99% perfect. Chicken: dark meat extra peppery & almost overdone but the white meat was super tender & nice to eat. It doesn't take away from the whole goodness of the platter though. Bologna: these ain't no lame Oscar Meyer store bought flappers. Talk about thickly cut, juicy heaven! Wow is all I can say - absolutely YUMMY. Pulled Pork: P I G G Y P E R F E C T. Don't even need sauce! Use the pillowy potato bread to die & go to taste bud heaven with rivers of salivation. This is so succulent, you might keep it all for yourself in a group setting. Ribs: BEST OF SHOW. These are guaranteed to be the best ribs in MO. Perfect pull & bite. 2 stacks of the thick bone-in pig walls left me amazed after just seeing the miraculous color & cook on the exterior of these spares. Their taste & texture solidified that Old 76 Smokehouse is the most bona fide BBQ joint I've ever been to in the Midwest. These ribs aren't somewhat good enough, they are majestic. My only wish is they'd had a beef rib aka meat candy option too. Desserts: both Bread Pudding & Key Lime Pie are highlights not to be missed. Stacked tall & the absolute righteous finish to seal the deal for such an experience. I just can't say enough good things about Old 76. Loved it so much, our 5-guy party bought shirts & a hat to wear in TX & TN. If this was local for us, "O76S" would be a frequent stop. We're BIG fans now. Last but not least, the gentleman working the show & taking orders was kinder than Jesus. He treated us right, & that's a fact. Talk about hospitality to the Nth degree. Ain't nobody going to be sad about that & we'll remember this kindness in anticipation of being right back ASAP! What we couldn't stuff ourselves above the gullet, we took home & all the girls promptly & heartily finished it off exclaiming how wonderful it was. They only missed out on the experience but not the tenderness & flavor!! Visitors & locals alike, DO NOT MISS this opportunity to dine like a king!! You will have died & gone to Texas, I mean heaven! One con & warning: if you don't have a truck with ample under-carriage space, avoid the furthest drive-way next to the fence. It is too steep & you WILL run aground, as we did. Enter & exit on the gas station side only.

It's rare that I'll even try Barb-B-Q outside of Kansas, Texas or Tennessee and I know there are…read moresome good spots, but I've been burned by more bad than good. The brisket was amazing, the fries and beans were also very good. I'll be heading back to try other menu options as soon as possible. 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up!!
