However, even worse the mount model they used is rated for 77lb... The instructions I found had two models listed: 77 and 99lb. They endangered my family by their deficient work.

After working with him on a TV mounting project, I can see why he's earned those positive reviews, and I'm glad to add to them. I called him to get a quote, and he was super patient, walking me through the process, explaining my options and costs, and really trying to get a handle on my needs. I booked him shortly after, and the process was ridiculously simple on his website. He was in constant communication over email, and we confirmed what we spoke about on the phone. He quoted me prices for materials, and gave me detailed descriptions, so I could see the prices he was charging me were standard retail - no professional markup. He understood that I wasn't 100% of some of the services I was asking for, and needed to see the options in person. When he got here, he was respectful of our asks around distancing and masking. He put shoe covers on on his own accord, which was a nice touch. The job he did was fantastic, and he noticed there was something wonky with my coax wall plate, and he fixed it for me, unasked. I wanted to be sure I hired someone who was familiar with how to work with this particular model, as there's nothing that ruins your day like your expensive purchase of the year getting wrecked. I'm not Miss Moneybags, at least not yet, so I had to be discerning. After I went through the very easy process of messaging a number of vendors via Yelp's Request a Quote feature, I received numerous responses within minutes, but Mike's response stood out. He wasn't offering the lowest price, but his message was friendly, pricing was transparent, and he specifically called out the unique nature of the Samsung Frame TV. His website featured a photo of another Frame TV he successfully installed. I was sold. Mike was so professional-- he showed up right on time, put on shoe covers, and he and I stayed masked the entire time he went to work. He was very thorough about making sure he set it up at just the height I wanted, even asking me to consider the other framed pieces of art I told him I planned to hang around the TV. He was done in about an hour. He even offered to cover the thin transparent wire that connects the TV to the "guts" of the device with a discreet piece of plastic that would protect the delicate wire and blend in with the wall. I hesitated, thinking it wasn't necessary, but I'm glad I went ahead with it because the whole effect is cleaner. He didn't even charge me for this. He left the place completely clean and even offered to take the box the TV came in outside. What a gem. TV looks great!

He had excellent recommendations on things like theater seating and components that we hadn't thought of. Those kinds of touches were very helpful and he really recommended things that he thought would work for us and did not just try to sell us things we didn't need. I appreciated that not being able to be there. They were patient with my non-tech father in helping him understand how to use everything and I know my folks love the new additions. TLDR: One star for an abysmal mounting experience. One star for Shawn trying to make it right. I wanted to get two TVs mounted in my brownstone apartment. One in a "workout" room and one in the living room. They started in the workout room. They asked if I wanted the TV high for workouts. I said no. They said "ok, we'll confirm height with you before we mount it." They didn't, and they had to remount it lower after I saw how high it was. I now have two plainly visible extra holes in my wall above the TV. For the living room, we settled on a TV height before installation. During the installation they asked if there's a hardware store nearby because they need to pick something up. Only later did I realize they needed to pick up spackle for the wall because they made a height mistake AGAIN. There were now several additional holes in my living room wall because they incorrectly drilled for a second time. Bad enough, but it seems they were trying to get away with an incognito patch job that I had to discover myself (this time behind the tv) When I brought it up, the installation team was apologetic and instructed me to contact Shawn to make it right. Shawn provided a discount for installation for 50% (which I had to ask for from a more meager offered discount). To be honest I don't think I should have to pay anything now that I have several extra holes in my brownstone walls that I need to spackle, sand, and paint. My TVs do seem secure and level however. I'm hoping this was an isolated "freak" experience. But I do feel obligated to write this review as I used Yelp to find Blue Falcon in the first place.
