Like I dont care about the brand names and technology. I asked a straight forward answer. Give a straight forward response. And even after all that fancy smancy, Mr Whitey here still didnt answer the questions. Also, judging from the promotion of getting a free whitening with teeth cleaning via insurance is a scam. While the payer might not be affected directly by does sound like they would charge extra for the teeth cleaning to make up for lost cost from the whitening procedure by exploiding the cleaning charge code. PS. I also want to clarify that a price of $350 was given. But it does not say the compound, minutes of treatment session, and strength. As its not listed, business can also pull the classic switch-a-roo. And by the way they reply, its pretty clear they dupe way too many. Definitely does not deserve 5 star reviews but hey, hope this review gets some of yall woke and dont fall for being over charged by acutally asking the right questions and even look at the bill before you sign anything. read more

I had switched to Dr. Clark/Sedation Dentistry a few years ago to help me get through my major dental anxiety. It was a great experience and I've now been going regularly for the last couple years, which is a big step! Needless to say I was taken aback when I showed up for my recent appointment only to find the office is now called "Fuller Smiles" and the staff was completely different- front office, hygienist, and dentist. I looked it up and Fuller Smiles seems to be a chain and it looks like this is a franchise. While my experience was fine, there seem to be some technology updates, the staff was perfectly fine, and I don't have a reason to be displeased with their service, it would have been nice to have some warning or explanation especially with the dental anxiety I've only recently overcome. I will say that I did appreciate the new ultrasonic cleaning they do instead of scraping, which I always really hated. It was much preferable for me, and went by much faster (though it might bother you if you are sensitive to loud noises). Also, they still offer nitrous is that's something you're looking for. I kind of prefer the small private practice setting, but maybe I'll get used to this. We'll see. For now, I don't plan on switching. read more

Dr Tom Clark and his hygienist were awesome. I have been going there for years. Unfortunately, today I was told he retired and a new company (fuller Smiles) took over. I was seen by a new hygienist and new Dr and things did not go well. I was surprised with the news that I needed new aggressive cleaning treatment when originally I was just scheduled for a regular cleaning. I was really surprised because Dr Clark's team never hinted me I was heading in that direction. I declined and due to that they refused to do my cleaning . I can honestly say the whole negative experience left a bad impression and I will not be going back there. Also, you should ignore all the reviews of Dr Clark because technically he is not there anymore. I dont why this new company wants to piggy back of his awesome humble personality and quality service . They should start their new yelp review page read more

I was looking for a dentist locally and saw Dr Clark's reviews on Yelp. I always look at reviews before I visit a dentist because dentistry is an important trust relationship between dentist and patient. I decided to come to this office because not only did Dr Clark have excellent reviews but he offers sedation dentistry if it is needed by the patient. I don't normally use sedation but knowing that possibility is there was a comfort. My interactions with this office have been excellent. Dr Clark often has availability which makes scheduling so much easier. I've had a few appointments which went very well. His office is very kind and thorough. They care about the patient sitting in the chair. My latest procedure at his office prompts me for this review. I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled. Everyone knows that process can have its pros and cons. Cons for the after care and recovery. Pros that the tooth is finally gone. I did not realize how badly my tooth had been affecting me. It took almost an hour to numb the area. Not because of anything Dr Clark did or didn't do, but because the nerves in that area were in wonky places. Dr Clark was about to send me to a specialist when I was finally numb enough to proceed. He was really patient. The removal of my tooth went very well. I think the biggest surprise I had was when I woke up the next day expecting to be in a lot of pain, I actually felt so much better that the pain from the removal was hardly felt. This was a total surprise to me. He did an excellent job. My recovery went smoothly and things healed well. It was so awesome to feel so much better. I'm very thankful for this office. Truly. People need to see Dr Clark. He's been practicing dentistry for quite some time and he knows what he is doing. He is also very gentle by nature which helps people remain calm. I gave him 5 stars. I would give more if I could simply because the removal of my wisdom tooth went so incredibly well. Thank you Dr Clark! You are awesome read more

My coworker actually recommended Dr Kita to me back in 2004 when I first was looking for a local dentist. I have been going to Dr Kita for my two times a year cleanings and checkup for over 20 years now even though I have moved away from the Bay Area about 10 years ago. He is always attentive to his patients and the quality of work is exceptional. The office consists of two dental chairs for patients but I actually like this as it shows that focus on patients is a priority. read more

This is my second time with Doctor Sarles. I ended up here last February for tooth cleaning and I'm so glad I did. I literally found him through a local search on Yelp for good dentist and I was not disappointed! He has a charming office in a small Office Park that has plenty of parking in the middle which can be a little bit difficult to find from the street. Very friendly staff but most of all he himself is a very friendly man. Very personable, very engaging, and overall probably one of the most engaging dentists I've ever had. He is very gentle, talks through everything he's doing, and does everything he can to make you feel at ease. He even has a little guinea pig wandering around that everyone interacts with. I was referred to Dr. Tom Clark by a sedation Endodontist after a root canal. Dr. Clark and his kind staff made the experience bearable, if not comfortable. They took the time to explain the procedure and the sedation medication. On the day of the procedure, they were patient and extremely professional. The oral sedation was enough for me but I was never completely out during the procedure, although I did fall in and out of sleep. read more

I brought my adult brother with Autism not knowing what to expect since he is very sensitive to noise, anything touching his face, and has had bad dentist experiences. Dennis made the appointment/insurance process smooth and was always so polite. Dr. Clark was super professional and patient with my brother and did such an amazing job with the deep cleaning and fillings he needed to get. Always so thorough and informative, kind and gives options. Nothing that is unnecessary is done and things that can wait or be looked over time so you are not pushed for things that might not be needed. He does everything, booking, cleaning, filling etc so very busy schedule but have most of the time gotten a phone call, email or text within the day of contacting. I have (or, rather, HAD) extreme anxiety about dentistry. Dr. Clark is a caring, devoted, and efficient practitioner. I originally went to him because his practice offers sedation dentistry, but I've now switched to making him my sole provider for dental work. Even when I required some complex and anxiety-inducing work (like an extraction in the back of the mouth), Dr. Clark made it go smoothly. In the past, I found my heart rate above 90 BPM and an uncontrollable urge to burrow into the chair. With Dr. Clark, I'm at ease...even relaxed. As someone who is autistic and struggles with anxiety, that's about as good an endorsement as I can give. Before seeing Dr. Clark, the thought of being relaxed while having dental work done was an alien idea to me. He has a very calming presence, even without sedation in play. In my case, he very much catered to a dental coward. I feel it's worth mentioning and lauding him a bit more: he's an unusually kind, patient, and affable man who's willing to work with you in terms of priorities, scheduling, and comfort. I also want to say that while he does a great job explaining things medically, I've *NEVER* felt a sense of judgment or embarrassment that I've had with other doctors in the past. I really appreciate that his goal seems to be getting your concerns and needs addressed in as much comfort as possible. His other staff are equally pleasant and smooth to work with. Whether or not you need sedation for your dentistry (or, like me, the whole idea of dentistry DEPENDS on sedation...), I think you'd find Dr. Clark exceeds any standard of care you'd find at almost any other dentist in the Bay Area. He's also a solo practice, so it's nice to be able to support a small business. In short, hands down the best dentist I've ever been to, and I'm happy to have his guidance in getting my problems sorted and keeping my dental health in great shape. read more

When you get there you are seated right away! No waiting. Dr Sarles is always learning the newest and best techniques. I love that he will not give you excess fillings to charge your insurance. He takes his time, does great work, it will not be sloppy and quick. He is very conservative in drilling your teeth, he will tell you what needs immediate attention and what can wait a year or two. I needed an extraction. My dentist of 30 years retired. I never had pain. This dentist Tom Clark did not say hello or good-by and used a drill to get the truth out. It was over an hour I suffered. I am not a difficult patient. It has been two months and my life has been hell. Infection set in and spread to my tonsils. I asked for an antibiotic he was angry saying NO. My GP gave me an antibiotic. I had fever and infection. Time to retire Dr Clark. He is very expensive also. I know there are many good reviews but I swear every word is true. He is cold and uncaring.
