I've read a lot of the reviews complaining about scratched cars and bad service, and all I can say is that I've never had any such problems. I've had multiple cars on the monthly unlimited wash plans for quite some time now, and get them washed 3 or 4 times per week. That's literally hundreds and hundreds of washes now, and not one scratch. It's true that there are a lot of automatic washes that don't do a great job, but thus far, Fuller's' automatic wash is the best I've seen of all of the automatic washes I've gotten from anywhere. When I just want perfection, sure, a hand wash is going to be better than an automatic wash. But for someone who gets his cars washed every 2-3 days, and I don't want to pay for that many hand washes, nor spend that much time on it, Fuller's is exactly what I wanted. read more

The greed and downfall of Fuller's Car Wash continues. I went back to Fuller's for a car wash for the first time in YEARS yesterday, didn't want anything fancy just the most basic wash - it was $7. WTF, $7 for a normal basic car wash?? A few years ago it was $3! I guess now I understand why I was the only car in line for a car wash at 6 pm on a Wednesday. Fuller's has been in the news with multiple locations for all the wrong reasons (Google is your friend) lately, I see no real reason to return to any Fuller's location while there are $3 car washes right down the road. If you go further up Algonquin, there is a car wash called "drive well auto spa" which is around the same price, amazing service, and super helpful employees. Well worth the money to have my car detailed by Roberto, aka Gallo. Somehow he got out an olive oil stain from my cloth front passenger seat. I went to the Matteson location. I noticed scratches on both sides of my bumper in the exact same location. The manager gave me a number to call to a different location. When you pay 18 bucks for a car wash you expect them to Atleast care but the guy waving me in let me slack against the guide rail instead of directing me so I don't. If this car wash is within your commute, you need not go anywhere else. Forget about the car wash with a gas fill up. This is where its at. Safe brushes on your car ? Check. Automatic wash? Check. Attendants on hand? Check. Newer wash system? Check. There are places like this found across the Southern states and they make it big with return business. Maybe not the same company but the same type of idea. Full or regular service car washes and car detailing. With any car wash purchase you can use their vacuum's for free and for ten minutes. Of course with a full service wash purchase, they will offer full service vacuuming. Regular car washes start at $3, but I find the $5 offer to be the best for a low spend. The $5 wash comes with high pressure sprays and a coat of wax. If you do the math, the $5 wash is the best deal. Also because you get the ten minutes of free vacuum; which can usually cost you anywhere from $1.50 to $3.00 for the same amount of time if purchased at a gas station or competitor service. The best deal for the person that loves their car clean are the monthly wash plans. One rate, wash your car as many times as you like per month and the free vacuuming. If I lived near one of these or vice versa, I'd purchase one. I don't know how much their monthly plan is, but I've seen some in other states starting at $15 - $25 dollars and the rate determines the number of visits you can make per week. read more

Every employee here is rude. If I vacuum my car, I can always count on at least 5 creepy employees staring me down the entire time. So uncomfortable. But anyways... A few months ago when it was still warm out the car wash broke down after I paid, but before I entered the wash. I asked one of the employees if I can come back later, he said "I don't know ask a manager" WTF?! So I saw the manager and waved him down. I asked him the same question and he said "YEAH WHATEVER". I'm not kidding you. I got a "yeah whatever". The business here will always boom because it's a prime location and a cheap quick wash- but that doesn't give them a right to be creepy and rude. Victoria B is right. This place is awesome. I used to go out of my way to visit the Peacock Car Wash in River Grove, long after I moved out of the NW side of Chicago. I think I got my favorite car wash now. Twice a year - spring and fall, as sure as the sprouting flowers or falling leaves, I do a thorough cleaning of both our vehicles, inside and out. A good car wash is an integral part of the process. In this case, it is a huge time-saver too. Located on the corner of Algonquin near a busy intersection, this is a full-service car wash, complete with attendants to wipe your car dry and clean it for you, in case you don't want to do it yourself. For most other people, a basic wash is all you need - and all it costs is $3. I'm not a stickler for all the special shiny coatings the car washes promote. To me, those are just some colorful foam that gets rinsed off anyway. It works like this. You drive up to one of 3 pay terminals and select what you want. My only complaint is that the interface is too busy with "Press Here" buttons all over the sides, making it hard to figure out for a first-time user. It prints out a receipt and opens the gate so you can proceed to the car wash. Once in queue, the car wash knows what services you paid for and does it automatically. Of course, there's few things as fun as taking your kids to car washes. For us, it's a happy family outing. After the wash, rinse and dry-off blowers, you can pull up to an area that has free vacuum cleaners for those who paid for a car wash. As I said before, you can pay extra for full service with attendants or do it yourself. The vacuums are long black tubes with a snout shape that seemingly can fit into every tight nook in your car, and extremely powerful. My Shop Vac at home, which I've used for car cleaning in the past simply cannot measure up to the power of these units. I managed to suck out some wood chips stuck in the adjustable seat tracks for more than a year! In what seemed barely over 5 minutes, the interior was clean of all leaves, sand, pebbles, Froot Loops, and lollipop sticks and we were on our way. This place is terrible. I used to take three cars here a week. I was very happy. Until they damaged one of my family's cars. I tried talking to the manager. He told me it could have happened anywhere. The car was not damaged before it enter the building. I told the manager to ask his employee. He told me he doesn't have to ask his employee anything and that I was lying, and I should take them to court. I told him I would never bring any of my cars here again. What a shady operation. While going thru the car wash I heard a banging sound. Not what you want to hear while in your expensive F-150. Sure enough there was damage to my running board from the mechanism that was to clean my under carriage. I parked my truck and went in to talk to the manager. I explained to the gentleman what just happened. He never even looked at my vehicle or in to the wash to see if something was malfunction. He just says to me "Its your word against ours" Wow......... Then i brought my other car, wash it. Turns out scratches all over the trunk. I informed thw attentented and showed him and he started saying its impossible to do that. I clear know what was on my car before i came in. He told me to call the police if i want. I totally would have if i was on call. Plus all these guys hardly speak damn english. I get like A car wash a year. Yes, I'm a terrible car owner and only will bring my car in for a wash at the end of the winter to get all the salt crud off. I went this past Saturday (yeeeeppp RIGHT before we got all that late snow on Sun/Mon). It was really busy and because it is right at the corner of Algonquin and Elmhurst, it's kind of hard to get in and out of. Automated dealie where you select what option you want, pay, and then wait your turn through the car wash area. There was a guy manning the pay booths, helping customers to select the right options. While he was not particularly friendly, I do appreciate that there is staff on hand to help you out if you have questions. The prices seem to range from $3 quick wash (which I assume is pretty much the same as driving through a lawn sprinkler) to upwards of $30-something for what I imagine is like a whoel shiatsu for your car. I chose the $6 exterior only, power spray undercarriage job with a super heated dry at the end. My car came out probably 95% clean (removed of its nasty crusty salty winter shell), I did notice some crevices that were a little dirty still and some water spots, but for six bucks, a pretty darn good job. Of course my car is dirty all over again because of the snow, but that's not Fuller's fault. Overall the quality seems pretty good, the layout of the car wash is kinda hinky though, and it can be a bit of a pain to get in/out if there is traffic. Overall not bad, maybe I'll go back again in the next few weeks to wash the extra crud that got all over my car from this last snow storm. ....Maybe. read more

Please note that this is not a full on hour long type detail shop, and it doesn't charge you like one either. This location is pretty good. I mostly come here during the winter to just wash off the salt and I'm satisfied. Things to Know: 1) For safety, don't come during rush hour, you don't want to get stuck at the end of the car wash because of traffic. It can be pretty scary when there's traffic in front of you and there are cars coming out of the wash about to hit you. 2) Don't expect rims to be fully cleaned 3) Bring your own microfiber towel to wipe away any remaining water spots on your car. 4) My car is lowered and still had clearance (for those who have suspension kits). My recommendation for this location: Add a mirror in the wash bay entrance to guide people on the track. Saw this at another car wash and it was very helpful. read more

I'm in utter shock. There are signs saying go in this car wash at your own risk and it's true. I went in for a simple car wash and left with a nicely damaged bumper. Whether the car behind me hit the gas or there was something wrong with the belt no one took responsibility or was made to. They wave people in and the cars are too close. It's definitly a safety hazard- I was hit as my car was in the middle and couldn't see anything. The manager could not have cared less. Now the damage is on me to repair. I would not recommend coming here. I used to come once a week and now I'll never come again. I'm glad no one was hurt- it could have been a lot worse. read more

Very shady business, don't ever go there. Those brushes scratch cars pretty badly, avoid this car wash at all cost. They will be out of business soon. My sister just got rear ended there (they were stacking them on top of each other like sardines). They claimed no responsibility - the attendant essentially yelled at her. "That's not my machine - that's not my fault. Sorry." Seriously. That was the manager. Also, he was in my sister's face ... "he was like a bouncer, yelling at me." All he was worried about was moving the car. "Get it out of the way!" Police came, wrote up the report. The car wash ripped my antenna right of the car talked to one of the workers about it i told them where to find it because i heard it pop off they went in got it and handed it to me i asked what they were gonna do about it and then told me the owner was not there I looked at the reviews and saw it was apparently a waste of time talking to the owner as he does not seem to care about customers. Please be careful if you are going in for anything but the automatic car wash. I went in for a complete interior shampoo. When I got my car back I had a huge rip in one of my seats(leather). The person who worked on my car told me that it just happened while he was cleaning and I would have to talk their manager Daniel Fuller to get it sorted. I had to call 5 times before I could get a hold of him. He was extremely rude to me and told me to come in to the car wash three days later so he could take a look. We would go to Fuller's Car Wash in rolling meadows every day or every other day to use their wash considering we have 5 cars. Ricardo that works at that location is great, always extremely friendly and helpful so it's a shame we will no longer be going to any fuller location. A week ago we took one of our cars into the wash and mind you we keep all of our cars in very good condition, while in the wash we hear a noise. After exiting the wash we notice the rear spoiler ripped off, so we immediately let Ricardo know they call the boss Hunter. Hunter explains he will be at that wash location tomorrow and he wants to view the cameras and see the car, which is completely understandable. So the next day Hunter calls us and we go over to look at the video with him. At first Hunter seems to be ok, shows us the video and shows in slow motion and multiple angles and says he sees nothing. I then notice that upon entering the wash where the two rotating brushes hit both rear sides that the spoiler has moved but Hunter "doesn't see it" instead he claims that the spoiler fell off after a "tap" from a different cloth that cane after the rotating ones that I noticed started to rip off the spoiler that Hunter "didn't see". So now we argue he says it's because our car is old, this particular car is a 1999 but it is stored inside and all winter and only has 30,000 miles on it, really it's in perfect condition. But regardless Hunter says it's not his problem the car is too old and his machines did "no damage". The way Hunter talked and treated us after we challenged him from what we saw on the video is just completely unacceptable management and poor business ethics. We have been excellent customers and this is how we get treated??? We're not trying to get freebies but what's right is right. After that being said we will not visit any fillers location since it sounds like Hunter manages quite a few. I would highly recommend no one go there to use their facilities because trust me when something happens to your car the nice act they put on changes real fast. There are so many other business that you can go to with great customer service that I wouldn't waste my time with a company who obviously let a growing business go to their heads where they are now so greedy that they won't do the right thing. So congratulations Hunter and the entire fuller family, you lost valuable customers and now bad reviews with I'm sure more to come considering how well you treat your customers. read more
