Don't recommend this place. I had to ask more than once for an MRI of my foot. I told them I'm claustrophobic and asked for two pills of valium to relax me through the MRI. Dr. Naasz wrote the script for the MRI, but would not give me a script for valium. I wish they would have told me that when Dr. Naasz wrote me the script for the MRI. If I could give this place a zero stars I would. I went in to get a cortisone shot in my foot for plantar fasciitis. Lejuene or whatever his name is was so rude to me. I will not be going back here. The shot hurt I let out a scream he proceeded to tell me not to scream and that it was an only a shot. I also have an ingrown toe nail he said that he didn't see nothing wrong with my toe. My toe is pink on the side and hurts and it's so obvious. This place is awful. Then the wait time is a joke more than an hour waiting and for what. read more

A few years back, another doctor at the facility performed a plantar fasciitis surgery on me, which was a complete failure. When I went back to discuss this with the doctor he had retired and I was directed to Dr. Naaz. He came into the examination room, with a smug look on his face after asking me what the problem was, he said so what do you want me to do? orthotics was suggested, and $695 later, I felt that they needed to be adjusted, I returned them back to the office and they lost them. The front desk told me that I had never left them or that I had picked them up but denied losing them. Now, I have a serious problem with my toenails, I'm sure if it's a fungus or in-growns or what it is. I have a new primary doctor that referred me to Dr. Naaz, I thought to give him the benefit of the doubt, with a new problem for him to examine. This situation is really bad my toenails bleed and her falling off. Yesterday, again with a smug look on his face, no introduction, he enters the room took a look briefly at my toes and again said so what do you want me to do just go home keep doing what you're doing I don't know what to tell you, I've never seen this before. I asked maybe he might prescribe a medication like an antibiotic since they bleed and I am afraid of getting an infection or something for fungus and he said I don't know what's wrong with your toe nails, so I wouldn't know what to prescribe just keep doing whatever it is you're doing! He is the most incompetent, smug, rude, unprofessional doctor I have ever come across! His staff is rude, unprofessional and seem to be miserable. I wouldn't let this doctor trim my dogs toenails! My name is Sandi S. I selected Dr. Michael Stastny, at "The Fullerton Foot and Ankle" to help me with my painful plantar fasciitis. At the conclusion of my first visit, Dr. Stastny asked me to bring in all the shoes & insoles I regularly wear to evaluate if appropriate for my condition. Further evaluation, Dr. Stastny informed me both feet needed to be casted. Upon arrival for the second visit, the office staff receptionist informed me that my casting was denied and so I did not want to proceed without prior approval and rejected paying cash at a lesser price. I replied, "absolutely not" and stated that the office should have informed me of the exact date of the casting procedure and that it was denied prior to my arrival. My opinion is that the office staff should inform their patients of any denial which the office requested and advise options or alternatives. At that same follow-up visit and after discussing that casting procedure denial that morning with the office staff I shared with Dr. Stastny that I was not prepared to pay cash for the procedure do not wish pay "out-of-pocket." Dr. Stastny actions, words and attitude immediately changed towards me. He started walking out of the exam room and I asked him, "are we done because you have not given me the results of my XRAYS yet which I had gotten the afternoon of our first appointment?" He then replied, "You should have asked me that before I started walking out of the room and then said that we will discuss the results at the "follow-up" appointment. He also said "How am I supposed to remember ALL of my patients' results from one appointment to the next?" I then pointed out that THIS visit today IS the follow-up" appointment and I deserve to know the results of my XRAYS now and would appreciate it if would check them out and give me the results today. Then found Dr. Naasz and had my plantar fasciitis removed, thinking life would be better. Here I am 3 years later. I am rating this a generous three stars because Dr. Naasz did a good job with my surgery which I consider to be most important, but everything else about the process was uncomfortable and often unprofessional. Here is my story: I had surgery to remove a tumor from my foot. A tumor that I had removed once before at a different office. Dr. Naasz insisted that we do my surgery in a hospital with an anesthesiologist. I told him that the previous surgery I had was in a doctors office (which is much cheaper). Again, he insisted on doing it in the hospital. I left his office (not having agreed to a surgery), and I went to the receptionist to pay. She asked for my contact info so someone could call me to schedule and speak to me about my upcoming surgery. I told them I had not agreed to it, and that I was actually going to go elsewhere to see if I could get the surgery outside of a hospital. It was then that she went to the back and spoke to Dr. Naasz, and he agreed to do it in-office. Fast forward a couple of weeks... While the doctor and nurses were preparing my foot and their equipment for the surgery, Dr. Naasz was throwing around tools and sterile equipment. At one point, he dropped something that was supposed to be sterile after throwing it on the little surgery tool table. A nurse picked it up and went to throw it away. When she did, he signaled to her that it was fine and not to throw it away or to change her gloves. She seemed to disapprove, but she followed his directions. During the surgery, Dr. Naasz kept making comments about how uncomfortable he was with doing the surgery and how he wish he were doing at the hospital. All of this while I was watching him remove this tumor from my cut open foot. He didn't stop to think about how I might be feeling. He not once asked during the 45 minute process. At some point, I told him that something he was hitting with his scalpel was shooting pain into my leg. He responded with something like: well yeah I was expecting that. He didn't inject the area with more numbing medicine or anything.. he just continued. The entire time he was treating my foot toughly and was doing things with an attitude. At the end of the surgery, he said, "Well, that was tougher than I expected. That is why I wanted to do it in the hospital." He threw off his gloves into the trash can and said, "Way to be tough". He finished it with "at least you aren't the next guy who is getting his entire toe removed." I left the office with a huge prescription of opioid pain killers that I never had to actually use. Ibuprofen was just fine for the aches and pains. No one mentioned anything about the potential for becoming addicted or anything which I found to be very disappointing. I had a couple of follow-up appointments. In one, he was much more thoughtful about my experience, but not in the other. It seems like what you get depends highly on his mood for the day. Lastly, I had to call them a bunch of times over a few months after the surgery to figure out how much I owed. read more

If we could give this place a 0 star we would. This was recommended by our primary doctor and we should have asked for another place. The front desk personnel are all RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! First impression is already bad. For our first appointment we waited for over almost 1 hour to be seen. Next appointment we needed for my daughter to get fitted with a shoe insert, they charged a $30 copay, understandable? To pick up the insert on another day, another $30 copay! We don't understand why there's a need for a $30 copay to pick up something my insurance is already paying for. Doctor saw my daughter for 1 minute. I would like to give this a negative five review if that was possible. I went here after being referred by my doctor. They told me to use some cream that I bought from them for 75.00 dollars and my toenail would be better. The cream did absolutely nothing. I went to another podiatrist and he said that cream would not help at all and it was for a totals different problem than what I had with my toe. They then took care of my toe and all is great. Then 1 year later I get a bill from Eric B. Naasz and it says I owe 112.00 dollars and that my insurance does not cover there facility. I send them a payment of 60.00 dollars and then get another bill this week for 112.00 dollars and it says that I owed 180.00 less 18.00 dollars that I never paid and a write off of 50.00 dollars but no record of the 50.00 I sent them. When I called the said yes I sent 50.00 but it is not reflected on the bill. Due to me not wanted this to effect my credit I am sending 112.00 dollars today. Be careful these are the rudest and conniving con artist I have ever dealt with. Oh and they could not even find me in there system under my name, so I had to find a account number that they sent to me on the bill. STAY AWAY !!!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My Dad was given Dr. Naz in the hospital after he found out he had gangrene and sepsis. When 2 other doctors said he should amputate the foot Dr. Naz said he could save it. My dad went to him every 2 weeks for a year and was told his foot was healing and the hole was getting smaller. A year later my dad was back in the hospital with sepsis caused from the infection that was still in his foot, that dr. Naz did not catch. How could someone see him for a year and not know that the infection was still there? My father had a heart attack that was exaggerated by the sepsis. He died in the hospital. Dr. Naasz charges double for orthotics compared to other podiatrists. Since the cost was $650.00 the insurance was only going to pay half. Previous podiatrist was going to charge $375.00 and my insurance was going to pay for it all. Should have stayed there for orthotics. I needed a renewal for my handicap hanger for my car. Last poditrist signed the form and gave it to me and then i went to AAA to get the hanger for 6.00. Dr. Naasz charges 15.00 dollars (for nothing) to sign the paper and then i still have to go to AAA and pay the 6.00 fee. Also, he is not friendly. Doesn't even greet the patient if he doesn't feel like it. Schedules 5 to 6 people at the same time. More money for him. I will not allow him to do the surgery I need because I don't trust him. He is all about the money and not the patient. No kindness or even acknowledgement of me as a patient. I am an R.N. and should have not returned after the first visit. My mom went there for feet swelling. She had an appointment. At some point she was taken into a room and told to lay down and out feet in these stirrups. At least one half hour passed and no one came in after being told she would be seen shortly. My mom is 85 and was in pain and frightened after being left alone for so long. She could not get out of the stirrups. The doc finally came in and said he was behind but would come back. My mom was so shaken up she could not speak. When he finally came back she told him how she felt and needed to leave. No procedure was given but he billed Medicare anyway and then billed my mom. When she got the envelopes from him, she Tossed them not knowing they were bills. She thought they were trying to get her to come back. Perhaps she should have opened them but at 85, her mental ability or judgement is not good. Whole my mom was visiting my brother for a couple of days. I stopped at her house to get her mail Nd found a letter from a collection agency. I called them and explained but they said I had to call the doctor which I did. After an hold for 10 minutes Cherise came on and I explained what happened. Yes I got emotional and raised my voice but never was rude or yelled at her like she kept a using me of. I tried to ask her how she would feel if her mother was treated that way but got no sympathy at all. I asked to speak to the doctor and she refused to even tale my name or number because of my attitude. Can you believe that! She never said she was sorry for what my mom went through or show any concern. She kept telling me my mom should have opened the mail. Eric Naasz and his office staff are unethical in the way they bill their patients. From the beginning, I was hesitant once I met the doctor and then after the appt trying to get an itemized receipt. The office clerks are unprofessional and Unknowledgeable with giving an itemized receipt. One of the first things dr naasz asked was if I was PPO or HMO. Hmmm.... so they could charge me more out of pocket with PPO. From there on, the bill was inaccurate and after paying for everything the office clerk had me pay, they send me another bill with leftover balance!!! And they claimed that insurance lied to me that the dr is out of network when he really is in network bc I am considered a high deductible patient! I highly suggest that you take you and your family to another podiatrist with high morals and ethics. Unless you like to deal with people like them! My previous Podiatrist retired. I was in need of new shoe foot orthotics. I was in extreme pain with each and every step I took - pain was on left side of lower back and down leg. Dr. Naasz cast my feet for new shoe orthotics. Since receiving new orthotics in October of 2018 pain is gone and I'm back to living very active life, free of the constant pain. Over the years I've learned via experience that the casting of foot orthotic is very important to creating a pain free shoe orthotic. Dr Naasz is a Pros Pro in this department. Went into the office today as a new patient with right heel pain. My GP had referred me here after about a year of me complaining my foot hurt. Turns out I have a heel spur and plantar facitis. Dr. Naasz also charged us extra instead of the copay which we subsequently had to call the insurance to get our money back. We ended up going to another podiatrist that dealt with our sons warts on his foot in one session, previously we had to see Dr. Naasz several visits an my son still had the issue. Where do I begin....I was a patient of Dr. Naasz for almost 4 years. I went through two surgeries with him and I trusted him completely with my care. When the decision was made to perform surgery, I never questioned or doubted his assessment. I believe he is extremely intelligent and a skilled surgeon. I have no major issues in the care that he provided. I do, however, take issue with his bedside manner. When he is in a good mood his personality shines thru and he can be really pleasant and funny. But catch him on an off-day and he comes off as dry and somewhat arrogant. It seems like I was catching him on more "off" days than "on" days after my last surgery. On my final visit in May, he was very rude to me. I believe it was because my post-op progress was slower than he expected/wanted from me. He grew agitated when I wanted to address bunion/metatarsal pain I was experiencing which wasn't related to my surgery and made some mocking remarks in response to my concerns. In my defense I had brought up this issue multiple times prior to surgery while I was still in physical therapy. I asked him to look at my custom orthotic because it felt awkward after surgery and he half-heartedly held it up to my foot, gave a shrug and told me to wear the OTC orthotics that I purchased on Amazon. He indirectly commented TWICE that I'm just a very sensitive lady (to pain) in a condescending tone. It was as if he was speaking out of frustration to himself, but loud enough for me to hear. He has an assistant in the room taking notes on an iPad and I was embarrassed that she was also hearing him speak of me this way. He didn't even try to conceal his obvious negative thoughts which I believe a professional should do no matter what the circumstances are. When I left his office that day, I felt humiliated in his judgment of me and as a long time patient I was really hurt that he acted that way towards me. I had made a follow-up appointment as he requested, but that evening I made the decision to never step back in his office again. No matter how skilled a doctor is, a poorly displayed attitude can make or break the doctor-patient relationship. It finally broke me. So Dr. Naasz - if you read your Yelp reviews - I know you set high expectations for me post-surgery and I obviously let you down with a slow recovery. You can be happy and rest easy knowing that I'm no longer your worry. read more
