My process started about two weeks ago. I'm giving this dealership a five (5) for the service I received today not from the on-line service I didn't receive, but I digress. Two weeks ago, I made an attempt to get someone, anyone to respond to some basic questions regarding a Ford Edge I wanted to possibly purchase. I received the cursory boiler plate response from a sales associate (who shall remain unnamed). I sent back my list of questions and concerns... never heard from him for two days. I was under a considerable time restraint and was antsy for a reply. None came. I then contacted another dealer, Ken Grody in Buena Park. Basically, ran into the same problem. First contact right away, then nothing. I realize it was the Christmas/New Year week(s), but come on! I then, changed my mind and decided I was looking at the Ford Fusion and saw a couple I liked. Copied the VIN#'s to take with me and planned my next move. THEN I heard from Ken Grody... all apologetic and wanting to work with me...and also within an hour, heard from a McCoy Mills associate (also shall remain nameless) who was the first associate's assistant... Couldn't get her to respond the way I expected... she kept sending me the same responses over and over... copying the screens to which I already had access... EXTREMELY annoying. Today, armed with my VIN #"s and tenacity, I headed over to McCoy Mills. Walked in and met Eric White, Sales Consultant right off. Very personable, and professional. Saw to it I got to see the first car of my choice out on the lot and then asked if I wanted a test drive. I did. He moved some blocking cars and brought the car around. During the drive he asked if I'd already contacted anyone at Ford etc., and I briefly explained my lack of contact from two people. We left it at that. Eric walked me thru three possible scenarios for my new car... two purchase options and a lease which I had not thought about until then. With no strong-arm tactics, Eric explained the advantages of a lease and how much $$$ I'd save as opposed to straight-out purchase. It was considerable and it's what sold me on the car and the financing options. As irritated as I was for the lack of initial customer service the week(s) prior, I felt at ease with Eric and McCoy Mills. I'd driven a Ford for 10 years already, so I was more than familiar with their products and I had been taking my car to their service department for eight years so I was very familiar with the facility. In this day and age of technology and instantaneous communications, to have such lousy follow-up with the other two personnel and the other agency's same problem amazes me. When I bought my last car at Miller Ford in Anaheim, I did the entire purchase on-line with their Internet Sales Manager... all I had to do was walk in, pay and go... I wasn't there an hour. This current purchase took longer, but the end result is what matters. I want to give Erick White a big woo hoo for helping me today and for being so patient with my financial questions! He was awesome and I'm highly recommending him to anyone interested in purchasing at this agency. I love my Fusion Titanium Energi and am planning on buying it once the lease is up in three years. read more

I'd give 5 stars up until the final phase of leasing my car and it left me with a really bad taste in my mouth.... After spending 2.5 hours at the dealership, I went home that night to sleep on my decision. Once I'd left the salesman who I was working with called me with a final offer to lease my 2015 Ford Focus. I called him back in the morning and said I'd take the offer if he included 12k miles per year instead of 10.5k. without hesitation he said "yes!" and met me at the dealership where, once paper work was almost completed he COMPLETELY denied that agreement. Flat out denied it. I asked him to then tell me what I'd said and he made something up. I don't know if he deliberately lied to me or just made a mistake. Either way, I was pretty upset. They wouldn't budge on it so I just agreed a higher price. AND he was all apologetic so he gave me 3 gas cards to make up for it- turns out they only had $10 on them so that didn't even pay for one tank of gas! A little more insulting than helpful... So in my experience, I learned my lesson and will never go off of the words of a dealership salesman. Should have gotten something in writing. They do price matching, which is great. My first initial visit, I was quoted approx $399 but you get a $60 rebate with the Goodyear tires that I wanted. When I went in today to purchase my tires, she took it upon herself to see if there was a place that had my tires at a cheaper price. She found them $10 cheaper than my originally quoted price. I walked out the door paying about $50 less than what I expected (that included 10% your check-in with yelp) plus, I'll get my $60 rebate in a few weeks!
