I went to the store because I had received an email (see below) that they were having 30% off. It's about a 35 min drive for me. When I walked in a gentleman was the only person there. I asked him about the sale. He said it was only Pfaff machines and accessories. I pointed out the signs displayed and my email, and he just kept rereading it out-loud. Like he was trying to justify what he told me. Anyway, finally, he asked "well, what exactly did you want to purchase with the discount?" I had already told him notions, stabilizers, etc. Frankly, I felt offended by this question. As if I needed to beg him for each item. So I simply said, "nothing, thank you" and left. It's a beautiful, bright shop with a huge selection of fibers, embellishments, and of course, canvases. I came with some projects in progress and canvases I haven't started yet, and the gals were patient and helpful with everything. I'm not an experienced needlepointer, and they helped me choose exactly what I needed based on my preferences. I have a hard time making decisions about needlepoint because I don't know enough to know what I don't know, so it took some serious customer service on their part. In the end, I found exactly what I needed and left with many great recommendations and ideas, not to mention a bag full of needlepoint goodies. I loved all their finished samples and was inspired by the gorgeous decorative stitching on some of them. I also love seeing finished projects because I rarely know how I want my completed canvases to be finished. I'll definitely be back!
