Moving and The Padded Wagon 'have combined'. I immediately called Tim, he assured me 'nothing has changed, I can't take care of the office and drive the trucks at the same time'. I contacted The Padded W. spoke with Janet, she told me that my belongings had been transferred to their warehouse in Paterson - really? who authorized them without consulting with us (the owners). To our surprise, few days later we found out that our items were in the open inside this warehouse, according to Janet 'don't worry your items are cordon off' (not true). few days later, I called Morris B. Moving listed business number to speak with Tim B., another surprise...now is The Padded W. business number the employee told me Tim no longer, sold his company to The Padded Wagon - is that called 'have combined'?. If all this is not enough - Janet (The Padded Wagon) made us pay for May rent, even though we took our items out of there on May 4, 2023 plus a nice fee of $100 for warehouse handling (warehouse mishandling). Tim Buccigrossi should have notified us of his intentions with his company and WE (customers) would have made a decision in regards to our belongings. Oh, one more! some of our items were damaged. He built out a full basement for us which included bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, utility room, closets and even a real cedar closet with actual cedar planks including the ceiling. He has replaced every window in the house with Andersen windows and even added French doors, sliding doors and a box window. He changed every door in the house to solid six panel doors and assisted in the family room and office built in by installing them. He build the most incredible custom walk in closet converting a bedroom into a spectacular use of space. He has renovated 3 bathrooms and kept them updated as needed most recently replacing a honed marble threshold in the shower and reinstalling the custom glass doors. The most recent improvement was the replacement of our gas water heaters since the old ones were starting to leak. He not only upgraded what we had, had the new ones delivered and installed all in one day in order to get us back up and running with little inconvenience. He has installed whole house water filtration, added instant hot and a garbage disposal making sure we have all the modern conveniences a home should have. He treats our home as if it is his own. The team worked seamlessly with the architect and the inspectors to make sure the permits were all in place. Tony was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was patient in answering my numerous questions and concerns along the way. Gus (the main carpenter) was incredible in installing custom built in shelves in various areas. He is a true artist!! The only downside in dealing with Mason was that their telephone operators, who probably work for a contractor, were a little ditzy and had a hard time getting the delivery information straight. However, this was a small matter; overall I am very pleased with my Mason experience.
