LOCATION: When you walk into Swift, you walk in a diagonal to the left. You will see an opening to a stairwell. You descend the stairs and then turn to the left and descend a few more. It's straight ahead. There is also an elevator to the basement; when you enter Swift it's on the right. SERVICE: I've found the staff is usually in good spirits and friendly. However, every now and again, you get someone who doesn't seem to be having a good day. It happens to all of us.

The walls are adorned with a variety of non secular material, creating a unique study experience. Small pastries are offered alongside a few canned or bottled drinks. Note: this shop is cash only. I had an iced Sweet Natured Sage which consists of espresso, milk, sweet condensed milk, honey, and sage. The drink was wonderfully smooth and enjoyable.

I was originally drawn in by the ube latte and horchata latte, and they did not disappoint. The food is also delicious and always tastes fresh. The shop blends right into the community but still stands out when it comes to flavor. Easily a top 5 coffee shop for me. The inside is simple and cute, nothing overdone, just a nice place to enjoy your drink. My only downside is the staff. I have had a couple of really friendly experiences, but most of the time they seem pretty dry and not very inviting. Overall, still a great spot and one I keep coming back to.

The staff is really lovely and knowledgeable about their drinks. Service is quite quick and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my drink! The only downside is that there is not a lot of great seating areas. They have one counter height area with a few chairs that you could sit at, but not really a "sit down with a friend for coffee" type of place. For me, it's definitely more a grab-and-go!

It took us a minute to realize there was a full-size (for an Airport) vendor in the middle of the luggage pickup area, between Southwest luggage carousels 4 and 5! We don't recall ever seeing that before at any airport. As it turned out, a piece of our luggage went on a trip of its own to New Orleans! But so what? After finding out how to track its progress, we sat briefly for a breakfast: espresso, iced latte, and two pastries. The espresso was strong and smooth both in flavor and aroma, well-balanced with just the right small touch of acidity, topped with a thin rich layer of coffee "crema"-foam that is an indicator of freshly roasted beans. The iced latte was bold and creamy, and we chose the added shot of caramel, creating a lovely swirly appearance and of course delicious flavor. We chose two of at least ten freshly-baked offerings. The chocolate-chip muffin was soft and cake-like, complemented by generous small chips. An interesting creation was a sweet biscuit, lightly crunchy on the outside, crumbly inside, also dotted with an ample scattering of small chocolate chips. We could have gotten an omelette, a bagel, breakfast or lunch sandwiches, salad, or fruit cups! This was a breakfast that any little café could brag about. It's a brilliant idea to offer such delicious civilized fare that sustained us and offered serenity during the luggage-hunting phase of travel :-)

But again it's mellow and blends together sooooo well like perfect mesh my goodness. Doesn't overpower doesn't feel like you're drinking matcha and coffee at the same time. That said, the matcha itself wasn't necessarily the best matcha I've ever had. I think there was just too much milk in the drink, so I couldn't really enjoy the matcha and hojicha notes. It was enjoyable, but not memorable enough to justify all the hype - or the price. I really liked the ambiance, and the baristas were genuinely kind. They were also very willing to adjust or remake a drink when needed, which I appreciated. Overall, it's a cute spot with great service, but I genuinely cannot accept the price-to-drink ratio. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't think it lived up to the hype.

I didn't really get look at the food anywhere else in ORD but I suspect that the sandwiches are the same ones that you can get from other newsstands in the airport. FYI, vegetarian options are limited to the baked goods or a yogurt parfait or fruit cup - no sandwiches or salads. Non-dairy milks are available as is decaf espresso. There's no seating. There's chairs around the terminal if you want to sit down, but if you're looking for a table you'll be out of luck. I had a spinach & feta croissant and a "penguin" drink (a mixed dark and white mocha frappe). The croissant was actually really good! They have an actual oven to heat food up in, so I got it heated up. It was nice and flaky, with a good amount of spinach feta filling inside. The penguin was very sweet but had a nice flavour, and underneath the mocha flavour the coffee seemed legit. It's not like Starbucks where they have a special mix for the frozen drinks - it's made with a shot of actual prepared espresso, so I was able to get the frappe made decaf. I thought the price was pretty reasonable. The wait time was way longer than I expected. I got in what looked like a pretty small line and waited more than 15 minutes. There just one barista working, who was great - friendly and seemed to be doing her best, but with just one person having to take everyone's orders and making drinks, things were not moving quickly.
