Im very dissapointed and regret to do business with this dealer as a first time buyer. The sales worker was awesome her name is Alexa she was great in showing me the bike walk me thru the store and show me the different brand bikes they had i give her the star for that and also the parts department guys were very kool in helping me choose my helmet i give them tha 1 star. I decided to go for the 2014 Yamaha R1. I closed the deal with the pushy and desperate Sales Manager they currently have very bad customer service this guy had with us at least my aunt who i used as co-signer and me. I have to recognize hes good in pushing people to buy a warranty in electrical for the next 4 years. (Seems to be the extra-profit because it cost $1300) He convinced me to buy it so i got the famous warranty, but when i got home i realized it was worthless to get that warranty so i went the next day and asked for the cancel of the warranty. They sent the paper work for the cancellation and they told me it was going to take maybe a month to process the cancellation and i said it was fine i just want the extra $1300 cost of the warranty deducted from my total amount. Incredibly, 3 months after im still paying for that warranty its not being taken out from my total cost and i went during this 3 months to talk to different people in finance at the dealership. I already did 3 payments on my bike and the warranty cost is still holding into my account i will wait to see my next bill and i guess im gonna have to go to the dealer again for the 5th time to see a finance guy again and do the same process over again. Thats it for that part of the story. I've been driving my bike for 3 months its my only transportation i take it from home to school-work and come back i have 3300miles on it. Two days ago i almost fell down from the bike my handle bar got stuck turning to the right i didnt fell down because i pushed the brakes and put my feet down. The next day in the morning i called yamaha customer service and Gregg picked up the phone. I explained to him what happened and advice me to take my bike to the dealership so they can diagnose the bike which i did took the bike to the dealer. I explained the guy in service what happened and told him that Gregg from yamaha sent me there so they can check my bike. He went outside with me took a look to the bike while i was explaining him how the bike got stuck by turning to the right and he told me that "the bike was looking fine for him" he also asked me "if i havent mess with it" and i answered no im just using my bike to take me from work to school and i havent done any modifications to the bike. (He was playing with the handle bar for a bit but i got worried when he touched my brand new tinted windscreen which i bouught from them for $95 dollars) i didnt say anything just look at him and he notice i didnt like how he was treating my bike. I left to work and called him about 6:30pm for an update to what he answered "the bike is still there we havent done anything" i told him its my only transportation and i depend of this bike to take me to do my things to take to work i dont have any other vehicle or tranportation he replied "well if its like that you are more than welcome to come get it" i really got pissed off when he told me that. i dont think that was a way to answer me i dont know if he is the manager but he really needs to have better customer service in answering to questions like this. Overall, im very upset with the customer service they have in the Service department, and im still waiting in the cancellation of the warranty from the finance department. It's amazing to me that this place is still in business. Is the Roundy family that oblivious to the fact that their staff is running them into ruin? Hello Roundy folk! Take a close look at your staff and you'll see why your facility has such a bad reputation. That is, if you care. I've visited this location a handful of times to check out new bikes and fit gear... gear that I purchase elsewhere due to FBC's over pricing and my poor opinion of the staff. Each time I visit, I see the same thing: -Semi informed sales people. They're nice. But, they have to be in order to sell a bike. They know just enough about the bike to offer it. They simply read the sales pamphlet. Big deal, I can learn more by simply reading "Motorcyclist" or any sportbike publication. -The cashiers are trashy, dim-witted idiots. And, it's obvious they've blown the right manager to get the job. They have no clue what "Customer service" is. They put more priority on their conversations and their text messages than to ensure a customer who is spending MONEY has found what they need and will return. Put down your phone, smile at your customers, and learn how to "follow up" with the customer. You can flirt with your manager after I leave. -The parts guys behind the counter - I think this group has to be the absolute laziest, dumbest, white-trash, caveman group of morons I've ever encountered. FBC is the only shop I've visited where I have to "force" a parts guy to look something up. No knowledge of the parts they're looking up. Terrible attitude, "Dude, I work at a bike shop... dude". Learn your products and learn how to sell them. Try approaching people walking around in case they need something. Morons. -The management - It's obvious that "Steve" and "Tony" are having sex with the female employees. Fraternization at its true definition. During my last visit these guys were both in a conversation with this super skinny brunette. I thought she was a customer and they were "trying to help" AND get in her pants. It turns out, SHE WORKS THERE!!! WTF?! What kind of example are you putting out there for your employees AND your customers? I bet she doesn't have to work as long as she's giving the boss a rub and a tug. Tony-The cashier, who put down her cell phone for a whole 30 seconds, made it clear she's dating Tony. Or, at least, screwing him. I guess that's why she gets away with doing a terrible job at work. Steve - Clueless and classless. You yell at your employees in front of customers. You have inappropriate conversations with your female employees. YOU need to learn how to be a manager. From what I've seen, you're a two-faced boy with too much authority and you're the root cause for FBC having such a bad reputation. LEAD BY EXAMPLE, ass. I'll never spend my money at this facility. And, everyone I know and/or meet I'll steer clear of this place. I'm more than happy to spend more of my money at the "mom and pop" shops where I'm treated like a VIP or family. FBC and the Roundy family... get a clue. Your staff is the reason why you have a bad reputation and probably don't make your numbers every month. I give you four thumbs down! read more

Let me preface this review by stating this: I went to this place to BUY a motorcycle today. Not to wander around and look, not to haggle about price. I saw a couple of bikes on FBC's website at the price I wanted. The only thing to do was go in to decide which bike I want and give them my money. It would have been the easiest sale they had all summer, but it didn't happen. Here's why: So I walk in to FBC around 4:45pm on a Wednesday. Not exactly prime time for any vehicle dealership. I located the bikes I saw online and began to look at each one. Surprisingly, not only did they NOT have the sale prices on them, they also had dealer markup added to the MSRP on the price tags. Now I get that sometimes online prices are not always advertised in the store. But there's usually some way the dealer will indicate that a vehicle is on sale ("SALE", "SPECIAL", "CLOSEOUT", "REBATE" etc), and there certainly shouldn't have been dealer markup listed on any of the bikes so late in the model year. The models I was looking at are readily available and on sale at most dealerships right now. That was just a minor curiosity and since I could easily pull up the web price on my phone it didn't sway my decision to leave this place (though it added to my level of frustration). What did sway my decision to leave was the fact that I wandered around this place for 20 minutes with absolutely NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT whatsoever. Not a "hi", not a "someone will be right with you", not even a friendly smile in my direction. There was absolutely NO excuse for this. Busy? Then greet the customer and let them know someone will help them as soon as they can. Customer not dressed like someone with money? NEVER judge someone by appearance. Lazy? Get a new job...or better yet stay at home and let someone who wants to work have a shot at selling motorcycles. Lastly, one of the bikes I was looking at had clearly been dropped on the left side. This was a new bike, not used. The end of the clutch lever was broken off, there were scrapes on the upper fairing, and a gash on the stater cover. Again, this bike was listed at full retail with markup added. It shouldn't even be on the showroom floor without a price reduction or the proper repairs made. My advice is to avoid this place. There are plenty of other dealers in So Cal to choose from that will acknowledge your presence, display proper pricing, and not have damaged product listed at full MSRP. read more

I have purchased many bikes from FBC over the years, and they are just like any other sales organization that sells products to customers like you and me. You treat them with respect and they will treat you with respect. Yes you have to deal with them just like you would if you where buying a new car. Some of the sales people known dirt bikes, some street bikes, some go fast bikes, some touring bikes; one salesman cannot know everything about all bikes because there are just too many of them. I have been buying a car and knew more about it than the Salesman did and told him things about it that he did not know. As for the Parts Department, the story is the same. Would you know all the parts that are in stock and which ones will have to be ordered for all the motorcycle that they carry? If you could do this, whatever you are doing too make a living you should think about a new job field. As for the Service Department, I have always received what I consider excellent service, yes there have been times when parts did not come in from the parts centers throughout the United States as fast as I would like, But that it not the service department problem or fault. Yes there are I'm sure are times that someone has not gotten what they think that they should have gotten or there bike was not done when it was suppose to be. I have always gotten called by Brent, Brad or Tucker (who has went to Colorado) Great Loss to FBC when there would be a delay in my picking up my bike. Over the years I have seen many Service Managers come and go, I must say than I think that FBC has the best one to date. He takes care of FBC customers even if they are royal pains in the ass and tries to do the very best he can for them. read more

This place is 5 stars AS FAR AS dealerships go. I always look at buying bikes privately first, but it's always hit or miss. I was going to buy an '05 yamaha roadstar warrior midnight from a guy, but he waited until I got the money together to inform me that the title isn't even in his name. "Supposedly" he just never transferred the title in his name from the previous owner. I wasn't about to hand him a check for $7k and take his word for it. Too shady. So in my frustration of getting the runaround i went to FBC. I bought an '06 kawasaki mean streak that just came in a few days prior on a trade. Jasper was the sales guy that helped me out, and he hooked it up. With that being said, a lot of buyers are still uneducated (no offense). What I mean is there will be tax, license, registration, and a reconditioning fee (for a used bike). The reconditioning fee is the same exact thing as when you buy a bike privately and get it serviced (NEVER ASSUME the previous owner took care of it). The whole buying process didn't take long at all. After i rode away on the bike my running light/brake light went out. It was no big deal. I brought it back in and Jasper told me to take it to Brad in service and it was taken care of at no charge. Its just a tail light but its just one of those things that show its a decent place and they are just trying to earn your business the right way. In the end you can always find a bike way cheaper if you buy privately, just be prepared to put in the time and effort, and have money left over for a full service and maybe new tires too. Okay where do I start because if you're in the market for a motorcycle FBC is like a fricken wonderland for a novice like me to even the most seasoned biker. Everyone over there puts you in such a good mood and they don't crowd you which is awesome! I went there to take a look at the Ninja 400 with ABS and met one of the coolest salesman on the planet Peter Daniels. He took the time to find out what I wanted which as a result of his expertise turned out to be my brand new 2020 Yamaha YZF R3 Monster Energy GP Moto Special Edition sport motorcycle(fuckin' a straight dudes!!) He made shopping for the right motorcycle fun and exciting instead of showing me models that would've left a bad taste in my mouth. Peter was always accommodating and never left to help another customer. I never felt any pressure, I never was confused either because he was so knowledgeable about everything I wanted to know or talk about when it came to picking the right motorcycle to helping me with the purchase. Peter also took me to the parts and accessories shop where he helped me find a helmet. You seriously gotta give it up to Peter because the guy really knows his shit. A special shout out to Jordan Ingram, super cool financial manager with FBC. Had 2 great experiences with Fun Bike Center. Walking in the door, it has the feel of a typical 'bike' shop with lots of toys and you get the sense that everyone is going to be snoodie. This is quickly countered by the friendly floor staff. I found them pleasant on the days I just wanted to walk around and browse and on the 2 days I wanted to purchase they were more than helpful. 1) My first bike purchase was a used Vulcan from 'Gabe'. Very user friendly, answered all my questions and found out as much information on a used bike as he could to include service records. The negotiation part was very easy, a couple candid talks about what they 'could' sale the bike for and what I 'wanted' the bike for. There was none of the salesman, "I'm not making any money on this deal or we have to pay the light bill... etc etc" 2) Had such a great experience buying my bike that I brought my wife in for her first bike. I found an AD from a dealership in Temecula advertising their year end clearance sale and asked 'Tony' if they would price match. It was easiest sale ever. My wife got the bike she wanted and I got it at the price I wanted and without hassle. I came back to Fun Bike Center after a bad experience with MotoWorld of El Cajon, which is closer to my house. I ended up getting a new 2015 bike of the same make and model for my wife for $138 out the door cheaper than MotoWorld was trying to sell me a used 6 year old bike with road rash. Best Shopping Experince Ever! I dont understand how this place has any bad reviews. I went/called every bike shop and dealer from FBC out to temecula. FBC was the only one to cater to me and ensure i was being taken care of from the moment i walked in and sat on a bike. They are non-comission so they are only looking to make sure you get what you want and not just make the sale. Amanda walked me around to a ton of bikes my first visit and was helpful. She even took all the info i threw at her and spit out a recommendation that lead to being the bike i purchased. The second time i came in to actually buy the bike, she walked me through every step and has called 3 times since the purchase to make sure i dont have any questions or if there was anything she could do to make this experience more enjoyable. Next on the list is Jasper. He is a super friendly guy who was just looking to help me get what i wanted for less. Even after it was all said and done and i already signed that dotted line, they kept taking money off here and there and making sure the gear i got made it into the loan. They also threw in delivery so i didnt have to ride a 0 mile bike home in the rain. Justin in finance also beat the best apr i could find in half. Needless to say i will be shopping here for everything i will ever need and refer these guys to every friend and relative who is riding or looking to get into it. read more
