First, the cost vs the value just doesn't add up here. For a family of 4 to skate, it costs over $50. My 2 girls have their own skates, but they did need the little walkers on wheels. You have to pay for those too. The fee includes "all you can eat pizza" and the pizza is not that great. Their skates are disgusting, extremely old and in serious need of replacing. We took our skates back up to ask for better ones 3 times before just giving up and trying to make do. Each time, we asked them to please give us skates without broken laces, IN THE LEAST. Each time, we received another pair with broken laces, broken toe stitching, and skates that looked like they had been both barfed on and falling apart. We have skated here on 2 different Sunday afternoons, and had the same experience both times. It is utter chaos on the rink. Yes, obviously Sunday afternoons are more family friendly and a better time for small children to skate. But there isn't anyone monitoring the floor to ensure everyone's safety or to correct dangerous actions like people skating in the wrong directions or even flat out laying across the floor. We watched as a couple of teen girls flopped down on the floor, sprawled out in the path of skaters, and then passed a phone around to show someone they were facetiming how they had all "wiped out." It took a major pile up of people falling over them before they decided they should get up. read more

First time bringing the granddaughter and her friend here. I love the location because I can watch a movie in the theaters across the parking lot while they skate. The woman employee at the admission counter was extremely helpful with the waivers process. The admission price and skate rental was affordable and not too high considering the length of stay (as long as you want until 9 pm). The high school teen girls had fun for a few hours and that's what is most important. Lockers are available for your shoes and purses. They cost four quarters. A decent snack bar is available as well. Parking is no issue since the parking lot is huge. Not all lockers are functioning correctly but that's par for the course. I've never been to a skating rink with new or fully functioning lockers. It's no big deal in my opinion, lose four quarters and move on to the next locker as far as I'm concerned. Worst experience I've ever had. I prepaid for a birthday party for 10 children and 4 adults. Here is a list of issues we had: 1. We arrived at 5:20pm for a 5:30 party on 9/5/25. They didn't unlock the door until almost 5:45. My entire party had to sit in the parking lot with gifts and cake. 2. This was a K-Pop night featuring songs from K Pop Demon Hunter. After hearing Beyoncé, Rihanna, etc I asked when will the music switch? The lady shown in the pictures responded with well there isn't a lot of k pop music that exists so we need to add other music. After explaining it's an entire genre and movie, she then gave me the excuse I don't make the playlist and can't change it. 3. We received our party bracelets for unlimited pizza and drinks but noticed I was missing 4 for my PAID adults. The same woman shown in the pictures told me I in fact didn't pay and it's just a piece of paper when I showed her the email I received from them. Picture also shown...when I nicely asked in front of her staff and a fully armed police officer, she began to yell saying hey you are making me feel threatened and scared *. I asked the police officer, have I done something wrong? I'm very calm and a paid customer. The woman refused to give me the paid pizza bracelets for the adults in my party. She then said if I continue to complain, she will throw my entire party out. I was actually shocked. I let her know I'd be sending out a detailed review. I would not recommend this place if you are black. My wife and I came here for an event we were invited too yesterday (12/13/2025). Every black person knows the awkward stares and unwanted vibes. We won a gift bag from the raffle ticket and the woman who gave it to us didn't even smile or say Merry Christmas. I wanted my children to skate and enjoy themselves but once they told me how they weren't feeling the energy in the environment we left. I will never come back here again. read more

This is a decent roller skating rink. It is right across for the AMC. There is a large parking lot there. I was formally known as Wheels of Wonder. They have a small snack bar that has icees. pizza, pretzels and fountain drinks. There is also a small arcade with some game that you can win redeemable tickets towards small toy prizes. You can also purchase those prizes with cash outright. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. They are DJ plays a little bit of everything from old school, new school, R & B and Pop. They not only have skate rental, but you can rent a walker type thing (Skatemate), for the little ones that can't skate too well. My little used it, and it was well worth the money. The Factory has frequent Groupon specials, so it is worth a check. They also have some daily specials, so be sure to check their Facebook and Webpage. The place does need a little updating, but most roller skating rinks do. There are not many new ones. It still has the 1980 feel and smell. They hosts birthday parties here and the place gets packed on weekends, later in the night, mostly of teens, but you have a few old schools playas tearing it up on the rink, making it look easy. They have skating specials like glow skate, and Name that Song, where you can win a prize by naming the song that was playing at the time. This is a very nice family friendly venue. It took me back to my youth when my mom would drop me off and I would meet up with friends. Couples or Triple skate anyone. It is very economical. You can get admission, skates, pizza and a drink for a family of 4 for probably $50. read more

This is a cool spot! I ended up here because we were invited by my daughter's friend and honestly; I had never heard of the location before. It's located on the south side of Indy and if you wanted to skate in a not so crowded rink.......come here! The setup is pretty cool too! Right now with skate rental and table reservation they are offering unlimited pizza and drinks! You honestly can't beat it! My daughters had a blast too. The arcade area needs a little work. Unfortunately most of the games were out of order so there were not too many to choose from. The best part is at least the ones functioning were easy enough my 4 year old was able to operate them. She had a blast too! She hit quite a few jackpots and had the time of her life jumping up and down while the tickets came flowing out! This was a great touch because most arcades are digital so you miss the old school fun of tickets pouring out the machines. We will definitely be visiting this spot again and if you're in the area or looking for a low key place to hang out with the family.......come here! read more

This is a great skating rink on the south side. I have noticed that they frequently have Groupon specials. I have my own skates, but it did look like they have decent skates to rent. I went there on March 4,2025 and had a hard fall. My back, shoulder blades, and rib cage still hurt. The place was packed and they were still letting people in. They don't have floor guards, and people were doing whatever they wanted. Some were stopped along the ledge while still on the skate floor talking to ones on the other side. Some would make a B line to the exit in front of others without looking and get hit or both would fall down. At times someone would go the wrong direction. At one time there were two adults in the middle of the floor in the flow of traffic, facing the wrong direction, dancing in place, while others had to go around them. If there were floor guards all of this could have been avoided. The floor is filthy. The little time that I was on the floor, my wheels were black, and I had to clean them when I was able. The staff was dispondant and didn't seem to care. I talked to the manager, and she told me that the owners told her that they didn't need floor guards. I strongly disagree. State statute Requires safety measures to be in public places such as these. I'm not sure of all the legalities involved, but I am going to be looking into it. Perhaps the fire Marshall would be a good place to start. I WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN UNLESS DRASTIC CHANGES ARE MADE. read more

This place is great. Came on a Saturday at noon with my daughter. Music is Top40 pop and old school skate funk (Atomic Dog / Bounce Rock Skate Roll etc). This place is very clean for an old school rink, and everything looks to be working (no broken lights / broken games / etc). There were many employees working and everyone was very nice. Prices are decent, and free refills on large drinks is nice. $14.99 deal gets admission, skates, a game card, access to the all you can eat pizza, and a glow stick. Just wow. read more

This place might be ok if you're just going in to skate, but as far as having your kids birthday party here is a joke. My daughter seemed to enjoy her party today but the hostess barely checked up on our party to see what we needed, my wife had to go get things because of the hostess not checking up. The hostess asked when we wanted the pizza put in and a little over an hour there was still no pizza?!?! The place could use a better cleaning cause it looked a bit filthy, the dj could play a little more variety of music instead of rap/hip hop all the time, don't get me wrong I like rap/hip hop but variety is the key word to the dj. All in all as I said my daughter seemed to enjoy it so I guess that is what was most important but for the parents paying for the party this place could use a little training on how to throw a birthday party here. read more

I took a chance when I bought a Groupon since there was no Yelp review. We had a good time and will visit again if we can get a similar deal. We had a bit of trouble finding the place. It is located behind the IMAX theater. The building still has its former name on it. The skating rink has a 1980s retro feel to it. The carpet appears to be newer as does the paint on the walls. Other areas could stand a coat of paint or a good scrubbing. The bathrooms were sufficient and reasonably clean. We went on a Saturday late afternoon until 7pm and music was a mix of pop music, Disney tunes, and family friendly top 40. The music was louder than what it eeded to be. I hate shouting over the music to have a conversation especially when I have young kids with me and I need to relay instructions, etc. Lights alternated between one and off for skating. The floor is good size and is wooden. Skate rental was quick and easy. The adult skates left a lot to be desired. The first pair my husband was given didn't have a tongue in one of the skates. Mine had one lace too short and the other way way too long. The wheels pulled to the right on one of my skates. That being said, I loved that they real skates for my 3 year old and not just the toy type that straps on over the shoe. His skates were in good condition. My daughter brought her own from home with no issues. There were also roller blades for rent. The skatemates could be rented for $5. Concession area was well staffed. We ordered an extra large pizza and it was ready in about 15 minutes. Pizza was surprisingly decent. There was plenty of seating. The kids wanted to do arcade games. More than half of the games were out of order which was a huge bummer. Hopefully they will be fixed soon - or removed. Regardless, the kids had fun with the few games that were available. They loved getting tickets and cashing them in for the typical junky arcade prizes that you see at other skating rinks, bowling alleys, etc. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful when we had a questions. read more

I had a field trip to the Fun Factory to find the condition of the skates horrible. When I first came in I saw that the prizes weren't even fair it just seemed like typical arcade game prizes and nothing new. Including an inflatable hammer that says "BANG" and some other small souvenirs. Some of the skate's wheels were worn off and barely moved that they weren't working properly. The skates are in terrible condition and there should be better arcade game options. I came to find that some of the arcade games that I wanted to play were either out of order or that my card needed more points in order to play. (Keep in mind I only scanned my card one time for an arcade game and then It says "Not enough points" I then tried multiple attempts to play the game but still nothing) A day after leaving the place I had found that I had started forming a Wart on my left foot caused by the skates being very uncomfortable for my heels and possibly the lack of cleaning the skates. I had worn many skates in my life but nothing like these. The pizza tasted off as well and I had to take multiple breaks so my feet weren't so tired. Which was cause by the lack of quality in the skates and how uncomfortable they were. The only good things in my opinion, were the colorful lights in the rink when the lights went off. If you want to bring your kids to a mediocre skating rink, this is the place to do so. read more

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because if you have skates it's close to mid. There is maybe 5 staff, the skates look(and probably are) ancient. It is so unsanitary, dirty carpet, ceiling and the food. Not trying to be rude to the staff (at least most of them) but they do the bare minimum. read more

Leaving a 2 for a review. But this could easily be a 5 with some simple upkeep/upgrades. I have recommended this place to friends and I will continue to go.. as this is where I've had the most fun so far..however I'm leaving some insight in this post... No rules seem to be enforced. People out on the floor without skates.. several times. Too many kids with the "skate mates" going all different directions. I crashed 3 times.. 2 from kids going all over the place and 1 from a big spot of pizza grease/sauce on the skate floor. I like the rink when it's not over crowded.. the floor seems in good condition.. maybe a little dip here and there. Keep a watch for a damp area near the screen when and after it has rained heavily. Parents seem to want to carry their young kids/babies while skating.. I witnessed a parent crash while holding their infant.. and I never heard anyone enforce any rules against this. And there are kids carrying kids/babies and I'm just in awe this is allowed. I don't care how good at skating you are... there are others who aren't and they'll come barreling down the rink your direction or you'll miss the skate bolt or nut that fell off and that would be a bad day... It would be easy to keep things vacuumed.. especially in the eating area...I think this contributes to way too much gunk on the floor.. which I had to clean off twice while I was there.. I feel that if rules were enforced strictly, and there was a dedicated kiddie rink/area (which looks like there used to be once in the far corner which is just a catch all now) that things would improve greatly for this place. I like the vibe and the music played the few times I've been, and I like the unlimited pizza they offer on sunday funday... so I'll be back again.. just hope things improve for everyone involved. read more

I come here all the time. It's a very nice place to go skating. i've been coming almost 3 years with no problems but recently the staff have be unfriendly. They recently started hiring teenagers. I was standing at the food order place for about 2 minutes waiting for these 2 teen girls to take my order. They were standing right in front of me gossiping. This is the worst place I have ever been in my life. There was a 7 inch rat inside of the rink and a mouse inside of a pair of skates. The food taste like crap and little did I know there WAS actually crap in my food. RAT CRAP. The skates were very low quality, they were falling apart. The whole place stunk of cigarettes, dirty pipes, and sewage. The food, floors, and walls were completely unsanitary. I went here for my nephews birthday party with 10 of my family members, now 7 of them are on their death beds. All of the machines were broken and they took all of my money. Walked in and got my card charged twice because the lady behind the counter was to impatient to wait for the card to register and then walks to another register, meanwhile as she walked away I see my bank account get charged. As she walks back I see my account get charged again, both times I watch the money flow out of my account and tell them I got charged twice and the tell me I can't get half my money back because the bank account says it's pending. I got charged double and the money left in my account shows that I got charged twice, it's only pending cause you don't have the money yet on your end, yet I can't get my refund now and I have to go out of my way and come back and get my money that you stole from me and inconvenienced me. absolutely terrible service. My review is actually zero. I got Groupon for this skating rink for admission, skates, pizza and tokens. The guy at the snack bar lost my order and I had to ask 3 employees and the manager for my food. I still didn't get all the food I paid for. We had to stand at the snack bar waiting for our food because they kept trying to give other people their pizzas before us even though we ordered before them. The manager and staff were rude, argued with us or hid in the back and never apologized for their mistake. The skates were in bad shape with tape on the wheels or loose bearings. Rollerblades had limited access due to not all sizes being available. They didn't even disinfect the skates we returned before putting them on the shelves. No COVID precautions adhered to. This was the worst place I've ever had a birthday party. The host was clearly high of some kind of drugs. I seen him maybes 3 times. The manger was very unprofessional and missing a lot of teeth talking to me, they should mandate mask forever so I don't have to be a witness to the messy mouth. Nava wanted to help us but Leslie the general manager/part owner wouldn't even call nor talk to me Because she off until Monday But answered for the manager money on her off day. Do not come here. This place is horrible especially for age groups 13 and up because they have nothing to do they have to have parents to sit with them there's a dress code and they can't request songs of their choice. While I i do understand to keep it appropriate and respectful, it kills the fun in having a cool hangout spot for older kids. If you have older kids, I recommend going to a different rink! read more

Facility was run down and the skates are falling apart. Went because we found the place on Groupon and got there on a day where they offer free pizza but was told that offer isn't good for Groupon people.
