    Skate area

This is a cool spot! I ended up here because we were invited by my daughter's friend and honestly; I had never heard of the location before. It's located on the south side of Indy and if you wanted to skate in a not so crowded rink.......come here! The setup is pretty cool too! Right now with skate rental and table reservation they are offering unlimited pizza and drinks! You honestly can't beat it! My daughters had a blast too. The arcade area needs a little work. Unfortunately most of the games were out of order so there were not too many to choose from. The best part is at least the ones functioning were easy enough my 4 year old was able to operate them. She had a blast too! She hit quite a few jackpots and had the time of her life jumping up and down while the tickets came flowing out! This was a great touch because most arcades are digital so you miss the old school fun of tickets pouring out the machines. We will definitely be visiting this spot again and if you're in the area or looking for a low key place to hang out with the family.......come here!

The floor is absolutely humongous. The stereo sounds amazing. Very clean! Maple flooring equals great skating.

This place is great. Came on a Saturday at noon with my daughter. Music is Top40 pop and old school skate funk (Atomic Dog / Bounce Rock Skate Roll etc). This place is very clean for an old school rink, and everything looks to be working (no broken lights / broken games / etc). There were many employees working and everyone was very nice. Prices are decent, and free refills on large drinks is nice. $14.99 deal gets admission, skates, a game card, access to the all you can eat pizza, and a glow stick. Just wow.

Must have been recently rebranded or under new owners

I took a chance when I bought a Groupon since there was no Yelp review. We had a good time and will visit again if we can get a similar deal. We had a bit of trouble finding the place. It is located behind the IMAX theater. The building still has its former name on it. The skating rink has a 1980s retro feel to it. The carpet appears to be newer as does the paint on the walls. Other areas could stand a coat of paint or a good scrubbing. The bathrooms were sufficient and reasonably clean. We went on a Saturday late afternoon until 7pm and music was a mix of pop music, Disney tunes, and family friendly top 40. The music was louder than what it eeded to be. I hate shouting over the music to have a conversation especially when I have young kids with me and I need to relay instructions, etc. Lights alternated between one and off for skating. The floor is good size and is wooden. Skate rental was quick and easy. The adult skates left a lot to be desired. The first pair my husband was given didn't have a tongue in one of the skates. Mine had one lace too short and the other way way too long. The wheels pulled to the right on one of my skates. That being said, I loved that they real skates for my 3 year old and not just the toy type that straps on over the shoe. His skates were in good condition. My daughter brought her own from home with no issues. There were also roller blades for rent. The skatemates could be rented for $5. Concession area was well staffed. We ordered an extra large pizza and it was ready in about 15 minutes. Pizza was surprisingly decent. There was plenty of seating. The kids wanted to do arcade games. More than half of the games were out of order which was a huge bummer. Hopefully they will be fixed soon - or removed. Regardless, the kids had fun with the few games that were available. They loved getting tickets and cashing them in for the typical junky arcade prizes that you see at other skating rinks, bowling alleys, etc. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful when we had a questions.

Nice rink. Two dollar Tuesdays are great. Good music. 4 quarter lockers are highway robbery. Overall a big win for big kids and regular kids too.

Due to a drink spilled on the floor in the snack area with NO wet floor sign, i fell and broke BOTH of my wrists! Then, I had to drive my child home before attempting to drive MYSELF to the ER, which was almost 30 min away. Absolutely NOTHING was done about this, other than receiving ONE text message. I wish that ZERO stars was an option, The owner wouldn't call me back. I missed several days of work, as well as incurring some astronomical hospital and surgery bills, having 2 surgeries on one wrist and casts on BOTH = not very convenient for an American Sign Language Interpreter to say the least. Stay away from this establishment until they have a safety update.

What a lucky find! I was on the hunt for a skating rink to book for my granddaughters birthday and…read morechose Franklin Skate Club. It looked like a nicely kept rink, has great reviews, and also has a fantastic birthday package. On the day of our party, I realized they had several birthday parties booked. However, I quickly learned how extremely organized and efficient they are. There was not a single thing that I had to do, other than skate and have a good time with our party of friends and family. Our guests were instructed to check their gifts in at the concession stand, and they put them all into a giant tote and put them back for safe keeping. I was told what time they would announce her birthday on the floor and bring her cake out to sing Happy Birthday. From there, they led us back to where our tables were set with plates, sodas, napkins, and forks. When everyone had gathered, they brought out the pizzas with spatulas so we could serve ourselves. I noticed them cutting up the cake and plating it as we enjoyed our pizza. As they served us each slices of cake, I was told to let them know when we were ready for gifts and they would bring them out. When we were all finished, they were happy to put her gifts in the back again so I could skate and retrieve the presents when we left. This is a clean and very well-kept skating rink. The rental skates are in good shape, and they're happy to help you with tightening or loosening wheels. Even the bathrooms were clean and well kept. I wish I had taken more photos for my review, but we were having so much fun, I completely forgot. Sorry Yelpers! You'll just have to go and experience this one for yourselves!

I've been here several times, and the bowling alley is always going strong. This time I went on a Sunday night, which seems to be my favorite. The idea was to play in the arcade and have a birthday dinner there. It was less than ideal, and the friendliness of the staff is what made the night somewhat of a success. The bumper car area was empty. I have never seen anyone use them. The skating rink had a couple of people on it. The arcade area seems like it could use more. There are a few ways to earn tickets, and a few games. Some you see in nearly every arcade, like the Jurassic Park one. I wouldn't mind seeing some pinball in here. That would get me in more regularly. We had a few hitches, most of which were addressed quickly. The air hockey table did not give us a puck. After a bit of waiting, a guy came out and gave us one. I noticed the black lights were out on both tables. They have a giant claw to try and grab the big rings of tickets. One of the workers refilled the machine, and after one play we got an error that wouldn't let us play. That was fixed quickly. Almost everything was working, which was nice to see, but I'd like more of it. I grew up in arcades, so even though things have changed, there is a feeling of nostalgia. Bring in some pinball games and let's complete it! To end the night we actually went to BK. I'm not even sure why. I think in the past I just didn't find the food here enjoyable, so I was kind of reluctant to try again. So 3 stars for the arcade experience and +1 for the employees.
