We attend my 7-year-old granddaughter and I twice a month We go on Tuesdays which is more age-appropriate children for her It's clean and she finds it a lot of fun I recommend taking small children from 6:00 to 8:30 Teenagers and older adults seem to come in from 9:00 till close I find it a little bit crowded too crowded for me to keep up with her because I don't skate I just watch I do recommend this place it's a lot of fun​ read more

Skate floor is always dirty, gum and sticky spots throughout. There are no skate guards so the skate floor is unsafe and chaotic, small children on skate mates skating with no direction, people skating holding babies, occasional wheel chair, and baby stroller, or hover round on the skate floor. not conducive for new or inexperienced skaters.Usually run by teenagers with few or no adult supervision. Part of the skate floor was cut off to promote more birthday parties. It's common knowledge that management does not care about the skaters because it was said they don't generate enough revenue. In the heat of summer it is 82 degrees in the rink but cool air can be felt by the offices. This should not be considered a skating rink but a glorified "chunky cheese" where people can also skate. read more

The facility is now called Fun Factory. They have some deals, but read the fine print one of them doesn't work on sundays. The staff are friendly and helpful. I visited today with my nephews and we all had a good time. I do wish the staff could monitor/better control children not in skates running across the rink floor. It's very dangerous. read more

Took our children here last night for a night out. Grabbed a deal on groupon when we pulled up in the parking lot which saved us a lot of money however it was unfortunately still not worth even the groupon rate. The floors were not clean at all in the food area let alone the rest of the building. I remember coming here as a child with my siblings and it was always a good time and great memories. My nephews and niece even grew up half of their lives going to this rink but it has went drastically down hill in the last handful of years. The groupon was for skate rental, pizza and drinks for 4 people. You get pizza that is hard and gross, small styrofoam cups without lids (mine had something floating in it), and the rental shoes smelled like death. The music choices were horrible, mainly rap music or slow jams that kids are not into. The kids did play a few of the arcade games to win prizes but the prizes were old and outdated...example the laffy taffy and jolly ranchers were melted and the packages were faded due to the length of time in the case. Would rather go to another rink any day then be in an establishment that is this foul. read more

Update after our third or fourth visit: The weird cross was removed from the wall. The carpet looks new and very clean. The bathrooms today were spotless although smell very strongly of cleaner. This rink is under new ownership/management and we have seen positive changes. I would also note the floor here is all wood. Has this place always been this bad? From the moment I walked in to the smell of feet and port-o-potties to the time I made my way past the cops to get out the door it was a horrible time. As a teenager in 1997 I frequented Wheels of Wonder every weekend. Today was my first journey there as an adult, boy has it gone downhill. The place smells awful inside. I mean sure you'd expect a skating rink to be a little musty, that's just the nature of the beast but this place reeks something terrible. My 7 yr old and I arrived for a birthday party at 2:00 on a Saturday. Upon arrival we promptly got in the door and found our party with no problems. The seating area is composed of plastic tables and...lawn chairs. It was crazy busy and there was a small line to get skates. It took 14 minutes to get skates. One of the guests at the party had to purchase skates for her son because they ran out of size 4 skates. The boy behind the counter wasn't very quick at all. After getting skates on my little person I went to grab a diet at the concession stand. After standing in line for 8 minutes with no movement in the line I just said forget it and went to the party table at least there was a Sierra Mist pitcher there. The hosts for the party supplied by Wheels of Wonder were pretty good. The pizza came out hot and the drink pitchers were never empty. When there was about an hour left of the 3 hour party the cops showed up. Apparently there were two unhappy, unruly birthday parents. It wouldn't surprise me since I had passed the manager and overheard something about "a bunch of birthday brats" (wowser! What a way to talk about patrons) after the cops showing up and the smell and the crowd I was just ready to go. I collected my munchkin, got on his shoes, and bolted for the door. We hadn't been here since pre-COVID and it has definitely been improved since switching management. It's cleaner and the carpet has been replaced. The place is still dated, but it's a skating rink - what else do you expect? The pizza was surprisingly good. We'd certainly go again. read more

This place needs to put some serious attention into their skates. I went with my family of 4 and my daughter had her own skates. The other three of us all had to trade our skates on several times to get ones that worked properly. Loose trucks, crooked trucks, wheels covered in gum, etc. My son and husband eventually found a pair that mostly worked but I gave up after three tries. They would not issue a refund either. Bad skates, bad customer service. Don't waste your money. I paid $14 to watch my family skate. read more

I had a great time here! Me and some friends came for a $10 special (shoes, skating and unlimited pizza & drinks) and it was lit. I LOVE skating and this roller rink was perfect. The DJ was on point!!! There were LOTS of little kids and it was a little crowded for some of the songs but totally fun. I skated for an hour straight and had a blast. The pizza was good, nothing too amazing but it didn't take like cardboard. I loved our experience here - it was exactly what we expected. It was easy to park and there were arcade games. The staff were engaged for a child's party. They had multiple kids events but did an excellent job refilling pitchers and checking in. Remember to provide a tip out of courtesy to your hostess! There was a scheduling mix up, an organization error by WOW but they quickly adapted. The facility is a little dated and the arcade games expensive but the rink is sufficient and they have enough skate mates and skate sz. variety to accommodate a party. Held a 5 year old party, it was the first time skating for many kids and the 12:30 session was great. Music was fitting and the atmosphere fun, letting kids be kids. Would recommend. read more

A friend of mine was forced to leave because she told the manager that she thought the price of their skate helper was a little high. He became so irate that she disagreed with him that he actually kicked her out and refused to refund her money even though she had just arrived. We had a school event here. As much as my son enjoyed learning to roller skate, I think I will try and find another place for him to pursue this new interest. After skating awhile, we decided to stop for a snack. Oh, if only I had noticed the vending machines a few minutes earlier! The boy at the concession stand was new. I mean NEW! After he found the buttons to push for my order (a small popcorn, a slice of pepperoni pizza, and a 24oz soda), he didn't know how to put the tender in. So, lord help us, he had to figure out how much change to give me. I didn't want him to hurt himself, so I told him the correct amount. You're welcome management for my honesty. After we finally received our order, I bit into my very cold piece of pizza. When I returned to the counter to remedy this problem, I was told that this pizza had just come out of the oven. I love being treated as though I am stupid and bothersome! (for those that don't get it, that's sarcasm) After talking to her manager, the young woman behind the counter told me that she had another pizza in the oven and she would bring me a new piece in "just a minute". I sat waiting for twenty minutes while my son returned to the floor to skate. My frustration grew as I watched people who had ordered after me get called over the PA to come get their pizza. I finally went looking for a manager to surrender and just get a refund on my money. She told me that the pizza takes twenty minutes to cook and was just coming out of the oven then. Just a slight discrepancy from what I was originally told. A 19 minute discrepancy to be exact. We did enjoy the skating part of the evening. The staff is young and make it pretty clear that most of them are only there for the paycheck. There were a few exceptions. But, not enough to overcome the obvious lack of interest in the majority. I will do research to find another roller skating rink in the city. I would recommend you do the same. read more

Wish I could rate zero stars. The manager of this place is a total jerk (to put it mildly). Their skates smell terrible. Absolutely awful! The unlimited pizza is a joke. They make a couple of pizzas per hour and it's gone in five minutes. When you ask them to make more, they say they will, then they don't. Literally the only thing they did right was give us more quarters when it took 3 tries to find one in working order. The whole place smells like Fritos, but they don't sell Fritos. That's feet, buddy. Athletes foot. You'd think after fun factory bought them out they'd get some new skates. This place is worse than I ever remember it being over the last few years. By far. Was told after skating with my children for 2 hours to take my hat off or leave. I went and spoke with the manager and another man who was with them. I was told the rules are posted on the wall. I agreed with them and asked them to please have their employees to inform people before they paid. This is a 1 star skating rink. The staff is rude. The skates were horrible. Every kid is required to wear skates even if they dont want to skate. They made my nephew who just turned 2 to get skates and said if he dont wear them he will have to leave. All jaws dropped, but to late because we already had a bday party planned. I WAS FORCED TO PUT A STAR otherwise I wouldn't have given them squat! The worst costumer service EVER! This place has really gone down hill... FAST! I took my 3 kids on a Friday night. Admission was $9per child, without skates! They young lady at the door told us pizza and soda was free for an hour and a half. So, after I paid $27 for admission, I told my kids to be sure and eat before the hour and half was over. Low and behold, they had ONE person working the snack bar and he seemed high. The kid was rude, spacey and moved as slow as he could. After a while I thought they had intentionally done that so they wouldn't have to serve so much food. The line was ridiculous the entire hour and a half. We finally got to the front of the line and ordered. We were told to "wait a minute" until more pizza came out. We waited about 20mins. Finally, I popped to the side of the register and asked what was going on? The kid looked baffled as I told him we were still waiting for our pizza. So for $27 my 3 kids each had one slice of pizza and a soda. After the time limit for the "free" pizza, I went and asked for a cup of water. Of course now that the free pizza was over, they had another girl helping the lost boy. She told me a tiny cup of water would be a dollar... Are you SERIOUS? I'm so done with this place. It's a shame. We've hosted several birthday parties and been loyal costumes for 8+ years. Hopefully management gets a hold on it before it goes completely under. read more

Went twice this week during fall break. First day wasn't too busy flyer online said $2 admission, $2 skates. I needed both but was charged $5. Weren't a lot of kids there yet, music was loud and the announcer was muffled. After an hour I was ready to go but my shoes which had been left out of a locker we gone. Young kid working skate rental suggested I check out all the women's feet, check the lockers which were open, search the shoe pile. Older man came to help me look to no avail. Asked if they could have the announcer say I misplaced my shoes and everyone look for my shoes in their bags. PA is for skating business only. Left without ANY shoes on my feet. 2nd trip today... 4 busses of kids were in there. Between the people "flying" around the rink bumping into people and knocking into folks it was crazy. No one told them to quit! We left. Note: while skating they repeatedly called for "people" to meet there ride out front and other things. Apparently they are unclear about what is skating business. read more

I've tried this place a few times. The non adult nights were ok for general skating just watch out for the children falling around you because there are no fast lane or novice lane rules. Hence the teenagers will go 1000 miles per hour towards the inside lane and out side lane. I tried adult night on a Saturday and it was 10 times worse. No on the floor skating gaurd or so it seemed. At least 15 kids with walkers falling all over the place mainly in the fast lane, parents walking the fast lane with them, and no one seemed concerned. I went to the DJ booth since the gun toting security gaurd would make announcements from time to time. I politely asked him "hey could you please tell the novice and slower skaters to stay towards the inside and the faster skaters to stay outside before someone gets hurt?" The retarded fuck didn't acknowledge I said anything, but just as I asked him, a little girl around 4yrs old face plants in the fast lane while teenagers dodge her going 1000mph. So I ask him again he acknowledges, but makes every other announcement, but that one. Sure enough a women was walking the fast lane with her grandchild and gets WWE DDT'd by fast lane skaters concussion style knocked out cold. Do you think the gun toting security made the announcement I asked him after that? Hell no! So be careful it's easy to get hurt here for novice skaters like myself. Overall is ok non adult skate days for me. Adult skate days don't waste you time unless you're an advanced skater with agility on your skates. Pros: large floor, nice upbeat music; average rink Cons: no floor rules, floor is bumpy in some parts, easy to win a trip to the ER on adult skate days. read more

well it's open on Sundays in summer. but floor needs serious attention. and rentals need deodorizer big time. but if you love skating and it is sunday in the summer, this may be your only opportunity. also, I think the rink subscribes to a national channel because a DJ is piped through speakers but no one is in the DJ booth. We went to wow on a Monday at noon. There were 12 in my group and around 20 people, including us at the rink. The dj, a 15-16 year old kid, keep playing special music that asked everyone except certain people, like backward skaters, to get off the floor. The first time the music came on we all got off the floor but for 5 mins or so there was no one on the floor so I took the kids back out and then I was asked to get off the floor for the backwards skaters, which was no one. When I complained, a employee went on the floor and started skating backwards, asking if that would shut me up. I asked to see the manager and she was rude, immature and told me I would be kicked out if I went on the floor during special music and wasn't doing the task that goes with the music. We paid to skate not to look at an employee skate while we waited at the side. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS GHETTO, rude skate rink again. I will never recommend it and I will tell bad mouth it forever because of this terrible experience. read more
