Stopped here after a 20 hour drive because the pictures looked good. Should have known better after seeing vomit in the front parking space. We ordered Shrimp Shumai Steamed dumplings Dan Dan noodles Black Tonkotsu Ramen The shumai and dumplings are definitely the microwaved frozen kind from the store. On top of that my boyfriend said he had to pick a blonde hair out of his mouth after eating the last one. Disgusting. The Dan Dan noodles had 0 flavor and we needed to put a ton of soy sauce and the chili oil in it to taste anything. Tonkatsu Black Ramen broth was okay but the noodles were tasteless and the Chashu pork was thin and dry (how can a meat that is 50% fat be dry??). On the bright side the Ramen egg was pretty good, and the server was very nice. The table Chili oil on the table was watered down to save money and there were fruit flies harassing us during the meal. We would never return here unless significant changes are made.

Very nice restaurant. Had the miso soup and sweet and sour chicken. Very crispy and not breaded heavily. Miso soup was so flavorful. Will be coming here more often as this was our first visit. Service was very great and staff super sweet!

A chilly day deserves a trip to the Noodle Bar! Visited during the lunch hour within a holiday week so the place had no wait. You arrive upfront and come in to wait to be seated! I was quickly seated and our waitress was quick to attend us. I ordered my Pepsi as this place serves Pepsi products. For the appetizer, I ordered the Spicy Wontons recommendation from my nephew which was not spicy at all was very packed with flavor and had pork wrapped inside what seemed like a filled dumpling! Now for the entree, I ordered the Tonkatsu regular non spicy ramen, so quick tip this place is makes their very own noodles so the ramen I had high hopes for. The ramen was soft and flavorful noodles, comes with pork cheek, would've preferred beef personally, some corn and green onion with fish patty which was tasteless. Overall has a local style ramen bar with a unique ambiance! I recommend you give this place a try if you're hankering other than the ordinary in Odessa!

I love their noodles here! They make them homemade in the front and you can watch. Food and service was good today but I would have liked more flavor and broth in the soup.

Flavor punch!!! This where to find it, sake and noodles and not to mention the potstickers! Service provided by our server was on point. She recommended items on menu and food was fast and most importantly hot.

I went in the afternoon. The environment is not really appealing for me. The food was ok. However the service was great. The food looked better than it tasted.

It's a great place for Japanese food, they make their noodles right here in front of you. Staff are very friendly, food is amazing. Don't forget to order spicy cucumber ( it's not very spicy) .Portions are large and prices very readily.

Great place considering it's Odessa. The service was excellent went at 1130 am. On Saturday. The server always had my drinks full, asked what we needed at the correct times. I got number 27 the spicy beef noodle soup. It wasn't spicy I had to add siracha sauce and limes. The sweet tea was delicious lol I love sweet teas! My boyfriend got the beef stir fry noodles they were really delicious. Will recommend this place. The restaurant was very clean! Bathrooms were clean! read more

The spicy pork ramen is amazing (Tonkonsu?)! We also got some pork Bao for our first time and it was delicious, would've preferred more filling, at least more cabbage. Maybe that's just how it's made?? Idk but it was still so delicious and definitely will get my same order again. We went home and couldn't stop talking about the ramen. It's made fresh and you can taste the difference. Customer service was awesome as well, the servers are sweet. If I could give negative stars I would. Hair in food. A bao to be precise. They inspected to idk make sure I didn't plant it? I'll assure you it was well in there. Cooked in the bao filling mix. Ordering was a mess but I get the language barriers. We where there for well over 2.5 hours waiting for inedible food and service. When I revived the ticket I noticed I was still being charged for the bao after I was assured it would be removed. When I confronted the staff member who I had spoken with she reminded me that I had ordered it and reread the entire order. I agreed but reminded her of the hair and her promise and the fact the bao was still sitting on the table. She apologized and then removed the item. Some please call Gordon Ramsey. read more

As a vegetarian there wasn't many choices. I ended up with a veggie fried noodle dish which was ok. A little on the bland and unremarkable side. It was cool to watch the staff make the noodles in house. The vibe was good. Service decent. I probably won't go back myself, but it wasn't bad. read more

The noodles were okay, too thin for my taste. Resembled more Angel hair pasta than ramen in my opinion. Ordered each of the ramens, they tasted too much of fish oil for my taste. The green scallion pancake was decent, but could use more scallions and I've had better. The beef bao buns were delicious enough to go back. The atmosphere was great, but the service left much to be desired, it was very slow and unfriendly on a slow day. read more

The place is very nice. Service was good. Food cane out within a reasonable time and our food was fresh. The price wasn't overly priced but not on the cheaper end either. We had the egg rolls and they were good but lacked the wow factor. My husband had a combo soup with noodles which he absolutely loved. I had the Kung pao chicken an rice although it was good it just lacked on flavor once again no wow factor. read more

This has become our go-to restaurant for almost any occasion. The rice dishes are just as good as the ramen. Our favorite things to order are the appetizers. Really surprised to find such high quality ramen in Odessa. My only complaint would be that the broth could have been hotter, but I like it very hot. Flavor was excellent and service was fine. May eat lunch here again before heading back to Austin. read more

The Fun Noodle was not fun, it was not too impressive at all. The service was pretty slow, the spring rolls and egg rolls tasted salty and bland, hardly any vegetables in them. The worse part was the fried rice! Awful. Very frozen and warmed up tasting. Couldn't eat it, it was so bad. So I asked for some noodles after waiting forever to tell the waitress that I I couldn't eat the fried rice. Expecting the small noodles would be free of charge, (I had about 2 bites out of the fried rice) to my surprise I was charged for the small bowl of noodles. Not for me. This is one of the worse Chinese restaurants I have eaten. I ordered Mongolian Beef and Steamed dumplings to go. I got may 4 pieces of meat and lot of peppers. The food was too sweet. The dumplings were hard as a rock. I could not eat them. The waiter was rude and threw my food on the counter. None of the staff said thank you for coming. Don't waste your money. read more

his restaurant has always been my favorite but the staff messed up my order to go. So I called them and told them politely about it. But got upset and hang up on me various times. I had asked for beef but they gave me pork. Never going again. I will not recommend this restaurant after being treated so badly. They didn't put an effort to fix their mistakes and were super rude. I visited Fun Noodle Bar around 5 PM and found myself waiting at the front desk for quite a while before anyone showed me to my seat. Given that the restaurant wasn't busy, this should have been an early warning of what was to come. After about five minutes, a staff member finally escorted me to my table. I placed my order and was asked if I wanted white rice, fried rice, or noodles to accompany my entrée. I chose fried rice, only to later notice there was a $1 extra charge for that option. During my meal, the waitstaff checked on me only three times: once to bring water and the menu, again to deliver my entrée, and finally to present the check. The service felt almost self-service, which made me regret leaving a 20% gratuity. At the end of my meal, I had to retrieve disposable container and plastic bag for leftovers on my own. I observed that other patrons, who were non-Asian, received more attentive service, including assistance with packing their leftovers. This disparity made me wonder if my experience was influenced by my appearance. Perhaps it was an unconscious bias at play, or maybe I simply didn't fit the restaurant's typical clientele. In conclusion, if you're Asian and don't speak Chinese, it might be wise to keep your expectations low to avoid disappointment. It's really really good but I do gotta say something. Everyone giving it a 4/5 or 3/5 is because it's the flavor they don't expect but that's usually because when you think Asian you think flavor but this place has very subtle flavors but they do have very spicy dishes to make up for it. The noodles somehow "lack flavor" but that's because they put the noodles in fresh. They don't give the noodles time to soak up the broth and spices but if you take it home and let it sit for half a day to a day then it is 5x better!! Amazing. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious hot tasty food. So much variety that I just ordered several appetizers as my meal and will be trying several new ones next visit. Husband had premium split noodles that I forgot to take a photo of everything just looked so good we dived right in. Definitely worth it to stop in and try, I doubt you'll regret it, there is something on the menu for everyone. read more

They have good service here, and the noodles are delicious. The interior is nice and modern and it's cozy. Prices are also competitive with others in the area that charge more for lesser quality. Overall I would definitely recommend giving this place a try when possible. read more

The best noodle place in town. Wonderful food, staff and atmosphere. Sally is the best waitress. Saki selection is expansive and delicious. Ask for Sally, grab a bottle of mio sparkling wine, some pan fried bao and a 32, 34 or 25. All is good. read more

I love the restaurant, the place is decorated perfectly, and food is Awesome. My wife in sample a few dishes and the one we like the most was the black ramen soup . I will always go to lunch here . 2 thumbs ups read more

This place is freaking amazing. They make the noodles fresh on site and the flavor of everything I have had is great. They have good spicy options too, gotta have that heat. read more

This probably one of my favorite place in Odessa! Ricky Qui is awesome. He was super nice,helpful and funny! Definitely check it out. So worth it read more
