I came here on Sunday to celebrate my daughter's birthday and a great time turned into a disaster from hell. The lady who works here with the braces girl is chill. Secondly, everyone ended up with a stomach virus. Everyone meaning my entire household, her friends, her uncles, and more. It says on the website they sanitize clearly you don't. Attended a birthday party at Funbox. We expected to sit and watch the kiddos jump up and down, while hopped up on cake and fruit punch. Kids need to be supervised while here and that meant "I" had to join in the bouncing festivities. Yes, we had to wear the purple and yellow bootie socks. If you haven't felt you core muscles in a while, you will definitely meet them again. This place is a huge bouncey house. Kind of like "wipe out" or the "American Gladiator's gauntlet("for those older peeps) with mazes, slides, basketball court, pyramids and etc. Take water, lots of water. It gets hot inside and the AC and fans don't do the trick. Super fun and the music is popping. Trust me. Definitely going back and this time leaving the dependents at home. Coming from someone who has anxiety in front of a camera, I had a lot of fun here for about half the price of other pop ups. There are so many props/ back drops to play with. When I went, everyone was respectful and patient about waiting their turn. You're only allowed to move forward though, so you do have that audience behind you, waiting and watching. You're allowed to stay however long you want as long as you don't move backwards. I signed up for the last time slot of the day, so I was restricted to 1 hour. I thought that would be plenty, but my duo ended up rushing through the second half of the installation. About 15 min before close, the staff ended up imposing 1 min per group for each station. That's not a lot of time, but honestly, I think my pictures turned out better for it. There wasn't time for overanalyzing poses or anything like that, and the ridiculousness pulled out genuine smiles on camera. I do wish I had more time in general though, but that might be my fault for choosing that time slot. read more

There couldn't have been a better name for this place. I was looking to go when they were located in Sherman oaks but with two little ones, the trek would be a bit too far. I was ecstatic that they moved to Arcadia since it is much closer to home. I bought the tickets a week in advance online and was surprised to see my 2 yo and 10month old were free admittance. Cool! thanks to all the yelpers who said to park by Cheesecake Factory entrance. This saved us a lot of time finding the right entrance. We pretty much locked down a parking spot and jet in. Made in 2 mins before appointment time. Take note if you go in after your appointment time, you have to wait for the next entrance 15mins later. The teddy tunnel was fun. We took pictures a little after the main tunnel and found a lot of the teddies were already off the wall. We made the most out of it and the girls held onto them for photos. The little piggy chair was fun and the girls like standing and sitting on it. The neon signs were and psychedelic portraits were ok. The upside down Simpsons living room was neat. The flower tunnel was pretty. The bubble pit was highly anticipated but we all sank much more than I had expected. I had to keep fishing the girls out of the sinking balls. Even my 2 year old who was waiting for it was a little taken back by the experience. Color crayon and spinning table was fun. ABC swing looking better in person than photos. Balloon blowing room was a blast for my girls. We kept on going in over and over agin while my husband waited in line for the infinity room. Infinity room- definitely wasn't what I expected. There were a lot of dents inside the room and it was a little muggy. There is a timer on the outside but definitely cheap. Instagram wall diagrams ok Car wash was fun but wish it moved for a more car washy feel. Cereal bowl was our favorite. Lover the foam cereal fruit loops and spoon. We got a lot of fun photos here. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a group of FUN things all in one BOX read more

Very cute exhibits! The majority of the staff were pretty friendly. My family and I went on a Friday evening. We chose a time slot that had a lot of availability thinking there wouldn't be as much people in there and it worked out pretty well. You start at the teddy bear tunnel and make your way through a few smaller exhibits and a floral walkway. There are two main pits: ball pit and cereal bowl (last exhibit). Each group is allowed 5 minutes to play and take pictures (shoes must be removed). Another room my family and I enjoyed was the balloon room. In there, air blows the giant balloons around the room. The kids loved it! The infinity room felt very stuffy; definitely needs some air circulation. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, but it's a one-time visit type of place. read more

We stopped by here since we were in the area. So many fun photo ops for the family and to capture that perfect IG post! Upon entering they let so many people in within that time schedule you book for. It's sorta hard to get that perfect shot since others are trying to do the same. Just take your time and you will get it. The two ball bits they have, they give you, I believe, 5 minutes. You do have to take off your shoes so make sure you bring socks. The only bad thing I have to say about this place and which is why I didn't give it 5 stars was because it was really hot in there. Me and my friends absolutely loved FunBox! The location was a bit out of the way BUT other then that we were very pleased. There were so many opportunities for good pictures, possibilities were endless for a creative mind! More staff available for pictures taking would have been nice, we missed out on a lot of possible group pictures because we didn't have a tripod or someone to take them. The ball pin was definitely a germ fest pool as well (me and my friends clothing was covered with oil after exiting, That's was probably the only other downside if the day) read more

Fun place for the whole family, my family enjoys coming here and jumping for about 1 hour and 30 minutes at a time. I would recommend paying attention to the jump times, it does require a little bit of planning ahead. This is a great place to bring the kids, let them jump, slide and enjoy their way to get tired, and take them to the food court for a family dinner afterwards. Definitely packed on the weekend, and summer it is very busy. I would recommend this place though, 5/5 stars. read more

Some of the selfie displays are still there but vast majority of the space is occupied by a huge bouncy structure. There is a balance beam, a dodgeball play area, a giant slide, and a twirling obstacle like in a Japanese game show. Our first visit was a private party that had the whole place booked out. My kids had lots of fun so they wanted to come back. When we came back to visit on a normal day, it was getting really crowded. There was a narrower passage near the purple arch and kids were bouncing to pass through. I had my preschooler in front of me so I had my hand out in front of her just in case anyone running into her. For some reasons a mom thought I hit her son with my hand out like that. She decided to bounce right into me and my natural instinct was to get her off my body. Once I did that she was going mad asking what was that? Why did I hit her boys? I replied that I did not hit her kids and she was not taking it. The next thing I knew was that she pushed me really hard and while I lost balance, she punched me in my face. I couldn't believe what happened and could not react. I only saw that my child was scared and crying. Luckily my husband was not far from where I was and ran to stop that woman as she was sitting on me. The idea of the place is fun, but quality of visitors are uncontrollable and obviously lacking. Also there is no staff inside the inflatable and therefore anything happened inside is not addressed immediately. I saw quite a number of scary moments. read more

This was such a cool experience! Loved the fact that I was able to go in and jump with my kids and even brought the husband! There was staff all around to provide support and supervision and were super friendly! We got a deal that they offered being the first weekend which was amazing!! And we are so thankful as we were able to bring cousins with us! So much color and great music! Only thing would be the water bottles as they only accept cash. This was a kid friendly place! My son had fun but wished he could have spent 20 minutes in the bubble room and fruit loop room. There's a time limit in each of these two rooms and you can't go back to a room you've already been to once you've started. The balloon room had too many kids in it....I was worried my son might end up with a head injury or a black eye. On a positive note, it had large balloons in it, so they served as a semi-barrier between each kid. The funbox was a cool place to take some fun photos but the price was a bit much for what they had to offer for 45 min-1 hr visit. read more

had my 10year olds birthday party here and it was AMAZING! we got "the most" party package which included private room, food and drinks for 40 people. All the kids (and not going to lie even myself and other adults) all had a blast! huge jumpers with slides and even a little jumper on the side for the little ones. Staff were all very friendly and attentive to the party(especially Celia! thank you so much) and other customers as well. the bathrooms were very clean and loved that the arcade was free play! overall amazing location and will be coming back ! read more

I have been to many pop-ups over the years and this one was pretty damn good! We went on a Thursday afternoon and bought our tickets there ($17 each adult), and it was empty our entire way through! It gave us a chance to spend a lot of time in the rooms we wanted to and really have a fun time without other people in our way! I had such a great time here with the kids! Its best to purchase tickets online before hand because they have time slots. Once you get inside there are many sections that are instaworthy. My favorite was the giant teddy beat tunnel! They have velcrow on them so you can take them off & take a pic with them. The more interactive things such as the balls & froot loop rooms were timed for 5 minutes. & the infiniti room was 1 minute. But that felt like just enough time. The only downside is the space was really warm, idk if its because its summer. But it definitely wasnt cool temperature wise in there. Specially when you are walking around and posing for pics. Its located dowstairs at the food court area of the santa anita mall, so parking is best by the cheesecake factory. read more

Funbox itself is super fun. Kids love their time here. The problem was the waiver that you must sign and put your personal information including your email address. Ever since I signed the waiver here, immediately I started to get crazy amount of phishing scam emails everyday. I believe their system in this location is leaking customers' private information whether they're aware or not. I do wish they check their system and do something about it! read more

This was a super fun experience. We went for my Godson's 9th Birthday. We went on 7/29/21 on a Thursday. It was a nice set up that was done for him in the back. There was plenty of room for us to sit when it was time to eat and do the cake. The only thing was the AC was not working so it was super hot inside. Besides that the kids had such a good time. The jumpers are for all ages. Of course being mindful of the little kids of you are older. I like how if you just want to do the photo ops it's a lower price. Which is nice for those who do not want to jump. The time for the party was good we added an extra hour which was perfect to get everything in. They kids were having so much fun they didn't want to leave. I side was clean and staff was super nice. I like how they have a staff member in the jumper area controlling it. I will definitely come back. I even tried to schedule my daughters birthday party there but unfortunately I waiting to late and they were booked. Defiantly book in advance to secure a spot. F-U-N! This is one of the better pop-up museums in LA. And we all know there are SO MANY to choose from. For the price of $17, it's also one of the cheaper pop-ups as well with quality lighting and various setups. First things first, this place is in the Valley. Yup! THAT Valley. So if you don't live anywhere close to the San Fernando Valley, prepare for a 45 min-1 hour drive out that way. Coming from Long Beach...this was quite the trek for us. It's located in a mall, so there is plenty of FREE parking. Park next to the Nordstrom entrance and walk up the escalators by Starbucks. My one recommendation to all is to purchase the first time slot of the day you plan on arriving. This is especially important if you're going on a weekend. (I believe 9am is the earliest). It will give you at least 30 minutes of alone time to do the first couple of rooms at your own pace. (Those Boomerang shots take time to perfect!) Afterwards, prepare to wait until the person in front of you finishes up (and wait even longer if they have multiple kids). Our time slot was for 9am and we finished up around 10am. As we were leaving, there was already a line outside the door of patrons waiting to come in. Note: Once you enter, you cannot move backwards. However, there is no time limit on how long you stay in each of the rooms. My favorite rooms were the Teddy Bears, Flower Garlands, Piggies, Rainbow Chair, Alphabets, and of course...the Fruit Loops. The lighting was great in all the rooms and the staff were amazing with helping you take photos. If, like me, you had fun at the Museum of Ice Cream, Color Factory, Happy Place, etc., then you will truly have a blast here!! read more

First of all- this is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever encountered. I booked a party in January for my daughters bday which is in May. I emailed Funbox and a lady by the name of Pamela set it up and we confirmed the date and time. Keep in mind we booked this in Jan. Months go by and I don't hear from her so I send her an email and she does not know what I'm talking about. I ended up calling the number and spoke to Destiney- who was THE RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! She would not even give me the managers name!!!!! SHE WAS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, YELLED AT ME, CALLED ME NAMES! I will never come here again! read more

My son had his birthday party here recently. While the kids had a blast, the employees are great, this is possibly the worst place to host a birthday party. Not only do they have several birthday parties happening (at least u have a private room) they still allow the public in. The place was SO packed, crowded, HOT, and overwhelming. I think it's so greedy they allow that many people inside while there are birthday parties. It was so hectic. If they allowed only parties and no walk ins, I'm sure we would have had such a better experience but unfortunately we wouldn't recommend for birthday parties or coming on a weekend. If you've already been at other some exhibitions like I said above, I wouldn't recommend going there. The only reason you can go if you want to make a picture with something that you extremely like there.
