    Tug a war
    Erikka E.

We had my kids' birthday party here on Friday, 8/21 at 5 PM, and we had SO much fun! This was our first time at this location, and we were so happy we decided to book the party here. The place was clean, and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. When we were shown to our party room, I think the manager even mentioned that we had booked a bigger room. I told him I kept inviting people and everyone kept confirming! It ended up being perfect. The kids had an absolute blast. The arcade games were free, and they also had fun activities like tug-of-war and music for the kids to dance to. Even the adults got in on the fun and were jumping around! Since we had our party on a Friday night, it felt like we practically had the whole place to ourselves, which made the experience even better. Everything was wonderful from start to finish, and we can't wait to come back! Highly recommend for a kids' party!

i loved how the arcade games are included with the price!!! i wish there were more games but the options were good. 90 minute sessions were perfect and i see the workers doing their best to keep eyes on the kids.

Fun Box was such a fun outing for the kids! The indoor inflatable setup has a lot of different areas to bounce, climb, and slide, which kept my 3-year-old entertained the entire time. It's a great place for little ones to burn off energy, and the overall atmosphere felt lively and kid-focused. One thing we really appreciated was the included arcade games--it was a nice bonus and gave us a fun little break between jumping sessions. That said, some of the inflatables were a bit worn down and discolored, which made parts of the space look like they could use a refresh. It didn't stop the kids from having fun, but it was noticeable. I also felt the price was a little steep--about $40 for myself, my 3-year-old, and a pair of socks for 90 minutes of jumping. Overall, it was still a really enjoyable experience and my child had a blast, which is what matters most. If the inflatables were updated a bit and the pricing adjusted, it would easily be a 5-star experience.

    Small toddler area ish

This was a cute little place to take my kids, but unfortunately our wristband was called before the whole 90 minutes were up. I was in the restroom though, and didn't hear it being called. When my daughter found me she let me know and we left a few minutes late. The staff was nice about it, and they were actually very kind the entire time. When we checked our time in the car, we realized we weren't even in there a full 90 minutes. They offered personalized rooms and It looked like a fun place for a birthday party. Also, If you have really little kids, there is a separate and smaller space for them. Not as fun. This place is ideal for 4-10 year olds. Also, check your time in against time out . Get your moneys worth !

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting a birthday party here at Fun box and honestly it was so incredible. The process was really smooth. They provide an amazing party room that is private from the rest of the place. You can book a single room or a double room. If you do have a larger party, we went with the singular room as it was a smaller event. Staff was absolutely incredible, super accommodating just all around really nice. The set up was so beautiful. They have many packages to choose from depending how many people you would like to get socks and a jumping badge. For the adults, they have the free arcade games that you can play, which honestly are super fun. I had a blast doing basketball. The kiddos love day as well. You got two full hours of bounce time as well as a really special guest appearance by their own mascot, which was super cute. I absolutely loved this place because you do not have to do any set up no cleanup. They do take care of everything. Our hose. Lauren was so incredible. Super patient did not rush us at all even though we did a couple of minutes over our allowed time. She was super sweet and patient and really made the event go so smoothly shout out to Lauren.

We've come here both open play and birthday party. Both times our kids had fun. Check in is pretty easy. They have several tablets to sign the waiver and then you pay to enter. They require jump socks and that is not included in your ticket. You get 90 minutes to play around. There are 2 bounce areas, a big open one and smaller closed off one for little kids. The bounce areas are fun for our kids but it can be a little rough. Keep an eye on smaller kids because there a lot of bigger kids running around. When they get bored from jumping, there are a couple of free arcade games to play. The area is decently clean and staff good. We love that the lockers are available and free to use. They have vending machines for drinks. There are also lots of tables to sit around. Several party rooms in the back with fun wall decor. Overall it's a fun place to check out.

We finally took our daughters to this location that opened just this year! My eldest had a blast, climbing, doing obstacle course, posing for pics with their inflatables and their arcade was fun! Pricy at about $20 a person for ages 6+, adults pay the same price as kids for 90 min of play. My toddler was free since she's under 3, we just payed for Fun Box Grip Socks! She enjoyed the slides with mama! A lot of older kids were around including on the toddler area, so be cautious mamas! SYOY!

Little dude had so much fun at a recent birthday party. Bright colors and neon lights covered the walls. I loved that the arcade was already included in pricing. The staff were very busy at the front desk and monitoring the bouncy area. It didn't smell weird and was surprisingly spacious inside. We were in one of the farthest time from the front and wished there was at least a window to watch that side of the bounce house. Our room probably had seating for 48. Cosmo the mascot came out to take pictures in, and parents were more excited to see the fridge stocked with drinks from our host. The package must have come with fun balloon centerpieces as well. I didn't see the bathrooms, but overall, would totally consider coming back over the summer.

    Trish R.

The workers are nice. It's a children's place, it was warm when we entered. Idk how often they clean but my son had a lot of fun. We thought it would've been bigger but irregardless, there's toddler area. A big space for the big kids, party rooms in the back, lockers in the front and a small arcade that requires no tokens. Cotton candy machine and photobooth do require cash. You can bring in outside food. I was allowed to get a drink inside since their vending machine didn't work. I asked my kid what he rates it out of 10 he said 6.

    Chloe B.

Do you wait to plan your child's birthday last minute like me? If yes This is the place for you and it will go off amazing! I was able to book the party online. Everything was included but favors and food. All the kids and even some of the adults jumped away for almost the whole party. It can get hot and sweaty, stay hydrated my friends! Did I mention they have a cotton candy machine! The host for the party was amazing! Would go back for jumping and partying!

    Nezelle A.

Great experience. Inexpensive for the 10 kid party + adults. The staff helped tremendously, from setting up, decorating, cleaning, cutting the cake, the constant asking if we need anything made the party go smooth! Highly recommend!

Party room (there are a few rooms!)

We had a blast! The FUNBOX is a kids entertainment center. It was about $20 per person (younger than 5 is $16 I think) for an hour and a half to use the facility. The time includes the kids being able to play in the HUGE bounce area, and there are several video games that are set on free-play. There are a couple of claw machines and a robot cotton candy machine that cost additional money. Make sure to bring your kids sticky socks otherwise you have to pay an additional $3 dollars per pair of socks. The facility and the bathrooms were extremely clean and well up-kept. I hope they continue to maintain the facility to keep it looking fresh. They had multiple party rooms, they were very clean and cutely decorated. We even saw a couple of characters walking around the area. Unfortunately, this place gets extremely loud. It feels overstimulating.

    Very thoughtful little touch!

Clean. Friendly staffs and owner. Well put together at fair price! We come from Yuba city and will definitely don't mind the drive for this fun place!

Ask the Community - FUNBOX - Sacramento

Do grandparents who are just watching have to pay?

Yes. Every person entering the premises must pay and fill out the waivers. It's a legal & safety issue. Walkways are narrow to the restrooms and to the back where other party rooms are located.

Could I buy tickets at the door? If so, how much is it? And am I required to buy socks at the door as well? My kids have the socks we've been plenty. They have plenty of grip socks

They have been selling out almost every day, so it would be ideal to buy tickets online also, during this week it's the grand opening so I believe their socks are actually required to be purchased. This could change after the grand opening but right…

The arcade itself was fun, but when my kids wanted snacks, everything we wanted was unavailable (slushie, dip and dots, and hot dog). Not to mention, the soda was flat! The staff helping us was so nice we didn't sweat it. Really... we didn't need to spend money anyways lol. We brought water. What got me was that the park was split into two areas divided by a small parking lot. If it's your first time, start with the area with the mini golf . That's where you purchase points or wristbands for the days activities. All in all kids had an outlet for their endless energy. A time was had.

When we arrived, I was told my toddler could jump while I watched from the sidelines. However, after seeing how chaotic the facility was, there was no way I felt comfortable doing that. Children were running around unsupervised, teenagers were climbing up the slides the wrong way, kids weren't taking turns, and I didn't see staff monitoring any slides. To keep my 23-month-old safe, I ended up paying the additional 50% fee so I could accompany him on the trampoline. Instead of being able to relax and enjoy the party, I spent the entire time chasing and playing alongside my toddler to make sure he didn't get hurt. It was exhausting--I left drenched in sweat, and I'm 38 years old, a runner, and in good shape. Unfortunately, the experience got worse when we left the party area. Someone stole my Altra running shoes along with the zippered party favor bags we had received. My 5-year-old was heartbroken. On top of that, many of the arcade games were out of order, two major attractions were closed. I think this location would benefit greatly from having a dedicated toddler area where younger children can play safely away from older kids. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this Urban Air.

Avery's birthday at Discovery Kingdom was an absolute blast!…read more We spent a good six hours at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for Avery's birthday, and this was honestly such a fun first big amusement-park experience for our family. Avery had an absolute blast from the moment we got there until it was time to leave. The Looney Tunes characters were probably the biggest highlight for him because Looney Tunes is his favorite, and Wile E. Coyote is his absolute favorite character. We happened to catch Wile E. while he was closing down his picture area, but he still stopped to say hi to Avery. When Avery told him it was his birthday, Wile E. actually stopped what he was doing and brought him back over to the picture area so they could take a photo together. That was such a sweet little moment, especially because he didn't have to do that. We also caught the 3:30 Looney Tunes dance show, although we got there a little late and couldn't get seats because we were on the other side of the park. Avery didn't care -- he was out there dancing like he was part of the cast. One of the service team members noticed how much he was dancing and told me that if we came back around 4:15 for the 4:30 show, Avery might have a chance to get picked to go onstage for his birthday. And IT WORKED. Avery got picked to go onstage! He wanted to be on Team Bugs because Bugs had won the previous dance show, but he ended up on Team Daffy instead... and Team Daffy WON! He was so proud of himself and had the absolute time of his life. Watching him have that much fun on his birthday was easily one of my favorite parts of the entire day. We rode basically every ride Avery was tall enough and comfortable enough to ride, explored the butterfly garden, saw the lions and giraffes, watched the shows, ate pizza and breadsticks with our food pass, grabbed drinks, and still managed to squeeze in more rides afterward. There is definitely plenty to do here even if you're not spending the entire day on roller coasters. One warning, though: the Road Runner roller coaster is INTENSE. That thing has some serious whipping and an extremely abrupt stop. I would definitely prepare yourself for some unexpected movement because it is much more aggressive than I expected. Even some of the smaller kids might find it intimidating just because of how fast it moves. Know what you're getting yourself into before you climb on that one! Also, prepare to get your steps in. This park is big, and we walked A LOT. But honestly, that's part of the experience. There was always something else to go see, another character to find, another show to catch, or another ride to get on. For a first amusement park experience with our kids, I honestly couldn't have asked for a better day. Avery got to meet his favorite Looney Tunes character, dance onstage on his birthday, win a dance competition, see animals, explore the park, eat good food, and ride a bunch of rides. Everybody had fun, and it was absolutely worth the money we spent. This was our family's first real theme-park adventure, and it definitely opened the door for us to start checking out other parks too. Great America and the other California amusement parks are definitely going on the list, but Discovery Kingdom was a pretty damn good place to start. Six hours later, exhausted, stuffed, and with a very happy birthday boy? I'd call that a successful day.

I want to give a shout out to some of the excellent staff members from our visit today. Whoever…read moreplayed Bugs Bunny at 6pm was amazing and playful. Took my daughter's hat and pretended to wear it. Made for a fantastic moment. There was also a friendly guy who was observing the kids' rides (safety checks?) in Looney Tunes area. Now the not so good - Be aware: the entertainment division changed the Looney Tunes show (Tunetastic). It's AWFUL now. Think Mean Girls energy. Lots of DRAMA that is completely unnecessary for a children's audience. Way too LOUD. And they don't let children come anywhere near the stage to meet the characters like they used to. It used to be a fun, interactive, and inclusive DANCE PARTY FOR KIDS. We didn't see any Halloween themed stuff this year. Did it get canceled? More positive highlights - feeding the giraffes, a great value for just $10. Get there early! We also enjoyed the Wildlife Experience show - we saw a diverse array of animals. Overall, it was a fun experience for our group, although some experiences were closed (adventure zone and one of the restaurants). We still had a good time!

The food is good to some good classic food items. They have lockers you can rent etc. I have to give them 3 stars some parts of the slides you wait at or walking to certain areas the ground is really hot and I know it's a hot day, but people are burning their feet to. I feel like they can go around and spray it down with water or something you can wear shoes, but they make you take off your shoes and hold them on the slides. The double dare has no shade the ground was so hot kids were holding onto the side rail to keep their feet from burning. We will still come here enjoy the water slides.

Fool me twice! My family has now tried this miniature golf…read morecourse twice in the last year and it is unfortunately the worst mini golf course we have visited across many dozens. The short of it is: This golf course is cruel and certainly not fun. It is not shaded, so expect to burn. It is poorly designed, so expect to lose your ball within the first two or three holes. It's very very likely that one or more members of your family will permanently lose a ball to incredibly challenging terrain features, for which the official response from golfland is.. exit the course, go back inside, get another ball. This requires staff intervention, which means you have to wait in line again... Just like you did the first time to play. This overpriced course feels cruel and is disrespectful of your family's time and does not encourage a sense of fun. Please seek miniature golf elsewhere unless you are going for an extreme challenge. Not friendly for our group with ages between 10 and 80 Expect to pay twice as much for your time here as you would intentionally losing your golf balls at a place like topgolf.

It was wonderful to see them so engaged, active, and having so much fun. One of the things I appreciated most was the enclosed Kids Zone. As a teacher, it gave me peace of mind knowing the children could play safely while still enjoying plenty of freedom to explore. There was also a nice covered area for parents and chaperones to relax, as well as a great space for eating and gathering as a group. This was our second year visiting, and it was just as fantastic as the first. The staff and facilities made our field trip easy and enjoyable from start to finish. We will definitely be back again next year! Highly recommend for school groups and families alike!

Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by poor staffing and customer service. The biggest issue was the wait time. We waited over 45 minutes just for the zip line, which is unacceptable considering the price of admission. It was obvious the park was understaffed, and the lack of organization created long delays throughout the day. If you're only planning to do a few activities, I don't think you'll get your money's worth. The only way this place makes financial sense is if you're spending the entire day there. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of some of the staff. Instead of being friendly and helpful, several employees came across as short-tempered, rude, and irritated whenever guests had questions. Customer service is a huge part of any attraction, and it felt like some staff members didn't want to be there at all. The park itself is a cool concept and the quarry setting is impressive, but management seriously needs to address the staffing shortages and customer service issues. Paying premium prices only to spend a large portion of the day standing in line and dealing with unfriendly employees left a very disappointing impression. I won't be rushing back anytime soon.
