    The park exit.

Great park tough I don't fit on a lot of the rides and the train was down for maintenance but I walked around this park and went on the carousel five times and the staff was great so I will come back again.

Such a totally cute place and great for kiddos 2-10! There was a recent mandate banning all outside food and drinks including water bottles. That was huge shocker but they have water at the concession stand and fountains around the park. The rides were pretty good and seemed maintained. I love that they have food sweet and savory. I only wish the fries were made to order because they are pre-cooked and sit in a warmer with the churros....which I did have along with the nachos. Good but nothing spectacular and what I'd expect from carnival type food. I did see someone order funnel cake and I must try the next time I'm there!

My daughter and I went here for a birthday party. We had not been here before so it was nice to go somewhere new. Plus it was a beautiful day to enjoy some fun outside. When we walked up there was no line which was nice and you could see some fun happening behind the gates. At the front there was a handmade sign that said no outside food and in smaller print no water bottles. The employees at the front greeted us for checkin and the next thing they said to me was no outside food and no water bottles. I understand that they want to sell the carnival food they serve which is fine however I don't understand the no water bottle policy. My child brings her reusable water bottle everywhere with her and with the amount of water she drinks I would still have to buy water to refill it. Inside the park it was clean and there were 8 rides running and one (the roller coaster) was out of commission. Out of the 8 available my two and a half year old could ride 5 of them which was great. The lines weren't too long and each attendant was pleasant at the entrance of the rides. There are a few little pay to play interactions in the middle of the park and my daughter loved the fact she could get her face painted. The party area was nicely shaded and off to the side away from the busy park goers. It looked like they have 4-5 party areas (I couldn't tell if the 4th one was multiple areas or if it's one big space) For being a kiddy party area it was very clean and well maintained. I cannot comment on the food they sell because we were still full from the pizza that was ordered with the party package. Everything looked good and the pizza wasn't bad. One of the other parents got a soda and it was huge for a large. One other thing to note is the restrooms are outside the main gates unless you want to use a porta potty. To my surprise they were very clean. Overall this is a great place for littles to go on rides and hang with friends. I give it four stars because of the no water bottle policy on a handwritten sign.

Such a fun place! Rides are more geared towards elementary kids and younger. We went on a weekday and there was barely any lines. The only time there was a line was to just wait for the next loading. Funderland is in Land Park which means there's a lot of trees and a lot of shade. We went when it was 96 degrees and it wasn't that hot since there was a lot of shade. The kids went on every ride except Squirrelly whirl and flying dragon since they needed an adult to go with them. The teacups were closed. Oscar the fisher had a MAXIMUM height restriction of 42 in so we couldn't go on that one. Their favorite was the Wild Stagecoach (the kids loved going backwards!) and the Red Baron planes. We were there for 3 hours and they went on 13 rides. They went on each ride 2-3 times. Different rides have different age and height restrictions so look on the website in advance and plan accordingly. The best height to go with kids that are more independent would be over 42" since they'll be able to go alone. Most rides will require 42" and under to have an an adult to go with them.

We drove to Sacramento on a whim and wanted to do something with the kids, we've done the zoo and fairytale land in the past but my kids begged to do Funderland. My kids are older, 12 & 7, so I had somewhat low expectations thinking they would be too big for the park, but man did they have fun. We literally opened and closed the place. It's kind of a smaller sized park and I loved that they got to run all over the place, back and forth between rides! And seriously, shout out to all the amazing workers, specifically the gentleman who took the time to know my daughter's name and say hi to her or rizz her up some whenever he'd see her. It was very cool. Ella says hi!

My kids absolutely love Funderland. It is a great outdoor amusement park where they are able to socially play. They love riding on the train, the buggies, the airplane, and the carousel. There is a new addition of an obstacle course with a big slide that they enjoy. Sadly, the park is closed until February.

Got a fantastic parking spot close to the entrance. Opted to walk ~10 minutes to the entrance instead of taking the trolley/bus. My husband and I have the gold pass and are all about trying to maximize our value. The gold pass alone has been great for saving on parking costs after multiple visits. We were also able to buy Bring-A-Friend discounted tickets at Discovery Kingdom even though our home park is California's Great America. In comparison to California's Great America, I found the employees here much more pleasant and efficient in loading rides and doing safety checks. Waits for rides (included kiddie rides) didn't feel as long and it made a huge difference in our experience! My husband got the Fast Lane Ultimate and had a great experience squeezing in about 15 rides with no long waits. Mainly just needed to wait his turn as a car finished up. As for food, if you plan to stay a while and eat there, highly recommend the all day dining plan. The premium all day dining plan includes free refills (ICEEs included) and we totally got our money's worth within two meals! We shared food from two dining plans for five adults and a young toddler and were pretty full by the end of the day. There were plenty of tables with umbrellas for shade, so didn't have trouble finding a spot on a Thursday, but can see it being a problem when it's more crowded. Restrooms were very clean and plentiful. My husband and I accidentally forgot our diaper bag and thankfully, the shops had emergency diapers kits. Overall, very pleasant experience going on a non-peak day!

What We Loved Immersive Play: The range of play structures is incredible. Our kids were obsessed with the recreations of famous children's books--walking through Mr. McGregor's Farm felt like stepping right into a storybook. Animals & Nature: Beyond the slides and climbing, the petting zoo and the peaceful Japanese pond (Urashima Taro) provided a great change of pace for the kids. Interactive Learning: The children's theatre is a gem. They have dedicated storytime and puppet shows that kept the toddlers completely engaged. Why It's a Must-Visit What makes this place even more amazing is that it's a non-profit. Knowing that your $10 admission (an absolute steal for the quality of the park!) goes back into maintaining such a creative space for the community makes the experience even better. It's right across from the Sacramento Zoo, so you can make a full day of it in Land Park if you have the energy! Parking can get a bit difficult, since it's also close to the Zoo and Funderland. There are areas to slide, climb, and play. Also, there are animals (goats, rabbits, chickens/rooster, ox, mini horse, pigs) inside. The gift shop mostly contains generic items that don't say Fairytale Town, which don't make for the best of souvenirs. If you've never been here before, you can likely count on your kid enjoying at least a couple of hours here before getting bored. I'd say it's geared more for the younger children...older kids would probably benefit more from visiting the other two nearby attractions.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Ambiance of Dinos Alive is cloudy with smog machines, dark, mysterious, and immersed you into "dino zone." Plenty of large dinos for families to enjoy (and touch - wasn't sure if this was allowed but we did it anyways as I'm sure the creators intended it for young kids). Take it slow, don't rush. Done with your tour? Backtrack back to the beginning and do it all over again! First round you're typically taking pictures. So make the second round a fun experience for yourself and absorb everything the Dinos Alive staff put together. Afterwards, there's a fun station for coloring dinos and scanning them to show up walking on a projector! Pretty darn cool, if I says so myself. Fun little eggs to take photos in. Excavation zone to dust off dinosaur bones. Couple rides for young kids with a small and big dino to take some videos. Small shop to purchase stuff if your wallet feels generous. The entire experience, with backtracking and seeing the dinos twice while taking our sweet time and messing with the kids, took a little over 1 hour. If you rush through, it'll take a measly 10 minutes (so don't do that). Highly recommended if you have children who are into dinosaurs! We paid $500 for an all-inclusive birthday package, but from start to finish, the staff made it clear that they couldn't have cared less. The entire event was chaotic, uncoordinated, and stressful. There was no assigned party host, only a disengaged food server in the party room who offered little to no communication. I constantly had to track down staff to ask what was happening next and where we should be. When I arrived to set up, I was told I'd have 10-15 minutes to prepare the room. Instead, I had to repeatedly check in to see when it would be ready and was finally given just a few minutes to set everything up. During the party, the staff member assigned to our room showed no initiative or enthusiasm. He didn't communicate the schedule, didn't announce when food or activities were starting, and clearly had no idea who the birthday child was. He simply stood in the corner, quietly handing out pizza with no effort to coordinate or engage with the group. After pizza and cupcakes, we still had about 35 minutes left in our scheduled time. I was then told that too many guests had been allowed into Wacky Tacky, so the kids couldn't play afterward as promised. The children were disappointed and confused. I asked to speak with a manager, but no one ever came. I've since called multiple times to follow up, and not once has a manager called and spoken to me. Several of my guests mentioned they had attended other parties here before and had much better experiences, which only made this event more frustrating. Save your money and go elsewhere, Enchanted or literally any other venue would be a better choice. This was a disorganized, poorly managed experience, and we will not be returning

I reserved the tickets for November 24th as it was originally set to open on November 21st…read more However, it was not opened until November 26th. I received a last minute text and email from them on the 24th stating the event closure. In the email, it did state they will give a complimentary ticket for the inconveniences but nothing was attached. I emailed them back about this and no response for many days. I did eventually receive the complimentary ticket. We finally got the chance to check them out. There were many lights to but some i felt were kinda repetitive. Many photo boxes for photo opportunities. The lights were nice but nothing "wow". We paid extra for ice skating. The rink is ok in size. A tad smaller than the rink from downtown. There are no lockers to store your personal items. They do have skating assistance for kids and adults but first come first serve. Parking is $10.

Ok, I did not expect this place to look like this from the freeway view. I'm glad it exists for me…read moreto take my kids, but it's a little sketch. My kids enjoyed the rides, and they also liked doing mini golf. The place wasn't too crowded. There wasn't too many attendants so we had to wait for one staff member to control about 3 rides at a time. I can imagine that is tiring for some of the kids working there. The arcade itself was fun, but when my kids wanted snacks, everything we wanted was unavailable (slushie, dip and dots, and hot dog). Not to mention, the soda was flat! The staff helping us was so nice we didn't sweat it. Really... we didn't need to spend money anyways lol. We brought water. What got me was that the park was split into two areas divided by a small parking lot. If it's your first time, start with the area with the mini golf . That's where you purchase points or wristbands for the days activities. All in all kids had an outlet for their endless energy. A time was had.

This place is a SCAM. DO NOT SPEND A DIME HERE…read more My husband and I came with our two teenage sons. We asked the front desk lady which she recommends and she said the unlimited ride pass, it comes with a car (8$ worth of tokens in arcade) we asked "is every ride open" she said yes absolutely! Great. We paid $36 per kid totaling around 75$ after taxes. We walked out to the rides (they have 8) and there was ONE attendant to the whole park. I finally noticed a man standing around wearing an employee shirt, so I walked over to him and said "is this ride not open" he looked pissed and said "yeah". He unlocked everything, doesn't say a word just pointed to the go carts to our kids. Our kids do the ride and we go to talk to the rest of the rides. Again NO WORKING EMPLOYEES TO BE FOUND. So I go back to the one working attendant and ask"hey is anyone working" he responded "there's only two of us, when I'm done here I can help you" meaning they have two attendants doing a ride at a time for everyone at the park and you are expected to stand and wait 20+ mins in hopes a employee comes up or unless you actually tell them every single time you want to go on a ride. We immediately head inside to speak to the manager and he was extremely rude and condescending. Said absolutely no refund. He would not send any other employees to work and cover the rides because he had four employees working, what later comes out is that two of those employees were at the batting cages not the actual rides. So if you want to pay top dollar to stand in a line waiting for employees to show up when they are finished with one ride, then this is your place. The one employee working the bumper boats was just absolutely miserable and being super rude to the kids, I'm talking like 6 or 7 years old yelling at them. He yelled at one for parking his boat in an open slot, apparently it wasn't the right spot to the worker, which fine if it needs to be moved but you don't have to yell at a kid to get him to move it over two spots. Will not be returning.
