I visited with friends and we had a great time! We checked in on the digital kiosks and then selected balaclava colors before waiting for our turn. At first I was confused why the wait time was so long when the space seemed almost empty, but we learned quickly that the more runs you do the better deal you get, and racing can be pricey. We opted for two rounds since we were new to it and didn't know how long it would take if we did more. Our first race took some time to be called for (about an hour), but we had much less downtime before our second one. While you wait there is an arcade area and a bar. One thing we noticed is that the staff in areas other than the racetrack are much less engaging- I think they must be bored from the lack of people interacting with them or working on things in other places. The bar was frequently unmanned and we learned that they don't offer tap water, only bottled. We also learned that while some packages come with food, if you don't time it correctly you may have to leave the food at the tables to head down to your race. It might be best to wait until after racing to order any food. While we didn't get food during the visit, we found it odd that a bunch of sliders and other food were just sitting around in the bar area unattended, getting cold. There's gotta be a better system. The team on the racetrack was engaged and nice. They made sure everyone was set up, strapped in, and that the races were organized and safe. I was TERRIBLE, but did get better my second round. Our group ended up having a lot of fun. Some things to note- they do put groups together and fill the extra spots with other racers so your group will be together but you may have different people in each heat (depending on how many rounds they bought and when they arrived). Riding with other groups means you may get bumped into and have people of VERY different skill levels. We definitely had some regulars in our group. When someone spins out or needs help all the karts stop so it can really interrupt the race, but I guess that's part of the experience. Overall it's a lot of fun but there's some room for improvement in their non-racing areas. read more

I experienced the epitome of gender plus race discrimination in sports/driving today. Despite my race record, I was constantly told I was being slow and should move over for even kids behind me, even if my race record did not say so. Being told I was slow, being stalled to start last in a group of racers. Yes I flipped the "traffic police," but I fight back when I'm being stereotyped because they need to know SHAME! The manager was no help and kept saying they were just following rules, when I was clearly being singled out. Not even an apology. Don't take your girls here. This is where little girls sportswomen spirits get destroyed. FYI it's also my birthday today. I left the place in tears. But the manager seemed to think that was funny. He unconditionally supported his biased staff and made comments about me being slow without even knowing what happened, let alone offering to review what happened (I'm sure there are camera). I told the manager he didn't know how being stereotyped feels because he is a white male, and he proudly said "that is a stereotype." Boohoo, I guess that stereotype really hurts compared to what non-white-male people have to go through! What a great manager working in the customer service industry. He refuses any responsibility, offers no sympathy to people's experience of being discriminated and whines about his own being stereotyped experience to a minority woman. (I hope he feels proud of doing that for the rest of his life.) This is just the dose of discrimination boost I needed on my birthday. Anyways, this is the birthday experience you will have here. What can I say, women are told to "move over" for men even at K1 speed to go karting. Great job reinforcing that rotten value when women/girls just want to have fun! Went here for my sons 10th birthday , spent well over 300$ here. staff was rude , unhelpful, and the other grown men racers were literally driving my children off of the road and rear ending them to try and flip their cars. we paid for 3 races and video camera footage , and only stayed for one race then left right after. I haven't been here for several years but took my son who's been here a lot lately and has really gotten into F1 racing. I remember the last time the engines were gas powered however the guy at the front desk said they've been electric since 2012. The place has been here a long time but looks clean and well kept up inside. My 11 year old son was disappointed that he didn't make the 58" cutoff for driving the adult kart. Nonetheless he killed it in the kid kart finishing 1st place in two races. The staff was friendly. The snack bar upstairs had limited options. My group of 5 had a great time! The instructions are relatively clear when you walk in: waiver, cashier, wait. Our wait time was a little over an hour but we easily entertain ourselves - I could see it being tough if you had younger kids or people who don't like waiting. You can make reservations online for groups over 8 people. We took advantage of the time by looking around at everything. It's a two-story building with plenty of memorabilia on the walls and in display cases. There is plenty of seating - most upstairs in the bar but a few spots by the track and a few couches. There's also a small arcade: mostly claw machines, but a few driving games, shooter games, and two on two basketball. Each game was about 40-60 credits, and at quick glance a game card for 120 credits was around $12. I come from the era of quarters arcade at the pizza parlor, so needless to say we skipped the games. We paid $122-ish for two first-time drivers; that included our head cover, licenses, helmet, and two races. It felt like a fair price, because this isn't the same as karting at Boomers, and they have promotions and packages that include merch or even food. The track itself was a good mixture of turns and a few straightaways. There's a worker with a flag who signals for people to get over and let others pass when necessary, and the carts do have an auto-stop feature that will automatically slow you down when you start, when there's a spinout and when the race is over. Don't forget to get your race printout upstairs at the bar!!! We had no idea and only found the printouts because we went to the bar for drinks - those definitely need to be promoted more because what a cool take-home. We paid about $20 up at the bar for two beers and a cookie (which looked freshly made and was delicious!). You can have up to two beers and they give you a wristband to keep track; just be aware of timing for food and drink otherwise you might have to leave your stuff at your table. I wish there was a way for the screens to display a "next up" racer list to help you better plan how much time you have before a race. The only reason I docked a star is because 1) the bathrooms near the arcade weren't super clean 2) the lighting is not great and 3) the initial welcome from staff could have been better, especially for people like us newbies. It would have been nice to be told about the various package options at the counter, what happens next (they'll call out names over the loudspeaker then you go down to the chute) as well as the printout. But I will give a special shoutout to the lady working the bar; she was extremely nice and holding it down up there! Overall, we will definitely come back and look forward to venturing out to other K1s since all the tracks are different! read more

Oh man, my 9 year old boy is hooked! Went here for the first time, and I gotta say it was awesome. All the staff were pretty friendly, helpful and accommodating. He got in 3 races and got third place on all 3 races. Pretty darn good, he will get better, for sure! His birthday was this week so he got an extra race for that, we banked it! Next time! Learned that even if you pre-pay, it's still first come, first serve..and cash is preferred to avoid fees. We got there at 11. When they opened. Easy process to get him registered and sign the waiver. There's a Weds promo with 2 races and game card. It was his first time driving himself. 12 laps per race. It starts off very slow, then picks up after a couple of laps. He had the best time! Improved his average in his second race. He asked to come back the next day. We didn't try the food, but plan to return soon. It was on the pricier side of things to do, esp. for a very short period of time, but seeing him smile & feeling proud of himself was worth every penny. read more

Super clean, well organized super kind lady at the front check in. Fairly clean overall. Reasonable pricing on a weekday afternoon. Went with a package deal with three races. Races are spaced out into 20 minute intervals. Three races took just over an hour. Very efficient and the staff works well to cover all skills of racers. They have two grouping based on height. The big racers start at 5 feet. The little racers aren't so little. It's not like first graders but check the website it's all there. Food was overpriced and ridiculously mediocre. If expected good food here you'd be disappointed. The bright faces at check-in were off set by grumpy man working upstairs. Walking in we got checked in with the host my boys got a face mask I believe that is what they are called . The girl upfront said it would take about an hour, we were literally on the track maybe 10 minutes. I don't get how this place stays in business, we went tonight because it was drift night and it looked fun. My son is 48" tall and according to the site that is the requirement however when we arrived at the site we quickly realized that the true requirement is closer to 50-53" my son has raced karts with FAT and other leagues. This is where speed demons need to come and get their fill of speeding down the track out. It's a curvy tack so you definitely need to know how to handle turns. There is a height requirement so if you are shy of 48" you may not be able to participate. I was pleasantly surprised that the karts were electrically powered. This definitely is a relief if you are on the sidelines watching the races knowing that you are not inhaling fumes. There is an arcade space where there are claw machines and arcade games to pass the time as well. My child came for a friend's birthday party, the races were back to back so there was very little lag time which is great for the kids. You know how patient and understanding kids can be. You do get the party room to yourself an hour after the races. The party rooms are located on the 2nd floor and you can see the entire track looking out. But, I opted to stand in the sidelines next to the track right next to the excitement. The place is clean. I do think that the carpet needs a good steam clean though. There is a large parking area and the building is well labeled, and right off of the freeway, so very hard to miss. I would high consider booking this place for a birthday party. Overall, the kids had lots of fun and that's the most important thing to consider. read more

All the staff know the owners are full of it and just keep making excuses to employees to save money on electricity. They all hate working here and it shows. First, overall, the people running the business were nice and polite. Next, there are many areas that you can gather including dedicated rooms for parties and events. They have a small arcade that helped to pass the time along with some race gear that is placed throughout the facility. Next, I appreciate they were honest about the wait. They were able to get us in under the time but because they told us and set expectations, the wait was expected. The cars are electric and as such, one would think they wouldn't be as "fun." Nope. The electric power was substantial and I preferred the torque as opposed to horsepower. We ran two races, and they were a blast! Things to consider- we had a group of six. In both rounds we were paired with others which was fine, but we are a competitive bunch and candidly, there were times when the others created some issues. Not purposefully, but it was simply the way it was. We would have preferred the option to be in our own group. Next, clearly the cars have different personalities and capabilities, which would be a fantastic interaction to have with the staff- like car 14 is holding the corners like it's on rails, car 22 is fast, etc. I know this was about fastest lap, but there is also fastest average over the entire race. Some in our group had 11 laps. Most had 12. One thing to consider is instead of a single lap winner, is determining the winner based on the overall race average or the average of the four best laps. Finally, I was the "largest" by weight in the group and needed some extra zip. Perhaps that's like an option at the desk prior to getting into the car? Overall it exceeded all of our expectations and we will be back. If you like the idea of having a race experience, or if you just like doing something fun and exciting, I would recommend going! I wish I could give this establishment 0 stars. I took my family to K1 speed this Saturday 08/02/25 to celebrate my daughter's birthday. When we got there at 11 am we were told it was an hour wait. While completing registration the wait time changed to a 2.5 hour wait b/c they had a birthday party. They advised us to make sure we were in the lobby by 1:30 pm. We were fine with that. We left came back at 1pm played in the arcade. We went to check in at 1:15 pm and was told our time slot was moved b/c they had a bunch of crashes. So, now we had to wait until 1:45- 2 pm. We received no prior notice of the time slot changes and my children weren't called until about 2:10 pm. This place is very unorganized. The service quality doesn't align with the prices. Come back in late Fall. We have enjoyed this location for several years... the staff is GREAT. The kart fleet is older (and rarely updated), but well maintained. It's unfortunate the current management doesn't provide a level of upkeep and general improvements to the space one typically see with pride of ownership... just look down, the old trashed RPM Racing carpet is still on the floor 12 years later. They sold us a package and told us it was 3 rounds but really it was 2. If your kid is exactly 58" he will get moved down to junior carts they should really say 59". Flies on our pizza. What a waste of time! They were rude and the kids even heard them talking bad about us. They have so much to work on. Poorly staffed and poorly trained, from front desk to management. Came for my nephews birthday and will never come back. We got stuck in the elevator and then ringed the bell for help. Waited a while and nothing, so I called the front desk, also nothing, literally no one talking on the line but could hear that it was picked up. Waited another 10 mins (15 total so far) and it started to get really hot. There was an elderly woman and a baby. I called the fire department because clearly the front desk was no help. The lady on fire dispatch told me that no one had called for that address but that she'd send help. So after a total of 20 minutes now stuck in the elevator they STILL had not called the fire department. Once they finally got there they were able to open the door after about 10 minutes of trying thankfully. The "manager" was waiting on the other side and offered Gatorade and waters. That was it. When asked why she never called the fire department she lied and told my mother saying that she had, which the dispatcher JUST told me that was untrue. They gave the kids an extra lap around after we asked for that, (should have been offered) because the entire race was missed. I go upstairs to grab my mom some food (the whole reason why we were on the elevator in the first place bc my mom is disabled) and again there is no one working up there. Called down for someone and they sent a young man to help, not sure if it was because of what had just happened or what but he was sassy and had an attitude. Didn't even respond after I said thank you despite the poor customer service. Overall things happen the elevator was not their fault but the way it was handled by staff and management was absolutely a joke and they should all be replaced. Hi-ya! So we've come to K1 over the years--before Covid, during and after (for birthdays or other celebrations). Each time the process of registration, notification of race readiness, racing--then repeat gets more efficient. The helmets appear regularly cleaned--especially during the pandemic, and you get a face mask (colors black, pink, red or blue) when you race. Anyway, we spent another birthday here for one of our kiddos and friends. The pricing for 3 races for 5 was approx. 300. The races provide you stats in best times, how many laps, overall ranking etc. Overall the place is really a fun place for periodic entertainment. I know there are racing leagues that happen there, but we've never participated. Anyway, races typically happen ever 10 minutes when the place isn't packed. Bathrooms clean, upstairs eating is clean, downstairs patio (loud) clean. They do have a couple of coin up pool tables and arcades, but that's only for down time between races. I came here with a buddy and his son. We got here just after the open, so it was easy parking and no crowd. But slowly people started showing up. Mostly adults with their children. In addition to the cart racing, there's a small video arcade. There's also a bar and they serve food here but we didn't partake on this visit. We arrived the day after Christmas as a walk-in group of 3. The location is convenient with lots of parking. The building is huge and there was plenty of seating for our group members who were not driving. When we arrived we were told that there would be a two hour wait to drive even though it did not seem to be that busy. We decided to sit and wait and the kids played in the arcade area during that time. We were called within an hour and everything went smoothly. We got a 3 race package and there was a little confusion about how to redeem all 3 races. After the first race they had to leave the track and wait to be called back. We spent about 3 hours total. Overall the participants had a nice time! They really enjoyed being able to race together. I docked one star for customer service. They were just hit very friendly/helpful at all. I probably would not visit this location again unless I was in the immediate area or got invited for a party. read more

To catch up with a friend and knockout a play date, I decided to take my son to K1 for the go kart racing experience. To the best of my memory, I cannot recall ever driving a go kart (closest thing would be bumper cars at the State Fair). In addition, my son has never driven a go kart and was elated to get his competitive juices flowing ( as he does when we play Mario Kart). With that being said, we were equally excited to visit K1 Racing. We arrived to an empty waiting area shortly after 11am on a Sunday (they opened at 10). Since we were first time racers, we used the QR code at the front desk to register ourselves. After completing the online registration, the friendly employee at the front desk retrieved our information from their internal portal. I paid for two races for the both of us, which amounted to a little over $115ish (including the racing scarf that you wear under the helmet). After an eight minute wait, our entire party was called on the PA system to report to the racing area. At that point an employee gave us a brief breakdown of the rules. We grabbed appropriately fitted helmets and made our way to the parked go karts. Once situated in our cars, we waited for an employee to turn the cars on and give us a thumbs up to pull away from the parking area. The racing experience was exhilarating and very satisfying. There was a little under an hour break between our first and second race (each race lasted for a little over 10 minutes). During "intermission", my friend and I took the kids to the arcade area to burn off some energy. After completing each race we were able to view our results using the email address that we provided during registration. Our entire party had a good time! The only complaint came from my son who felt like they were governing the top speed on his go kart. Even though I paid for me and my husband together they put us on separate races and we didn't find out until after we already waited almost two hours. When they called my name we wen down to the racing area and then they told us that there was another person with the same name as my husband so we didn't get put on the same race and if we wanted to be on the same one it would be about 15 minutes, we agreed to be moved but after 35 more minutes of just sitting there since the arcade has less than 10 games we decided we wanted to leave because it was late and we were tired. I went to the front desk to try to get my refund and the staff were insisting that we didn't need to refund because the races will stay on our accounts, I had to convince the two workers to give me my money back because we were tired and did not want to come back after this experience. They also shorted me by 10¢ while giving me my refund (it's only ten cents but still adds to an already bad experience). We ordered pizza while we waited that service was at least fast but the pizza is so thin that the bread is like cardboard, super greasy, and as soon as we got our pizza is when we got called for what was supposed to be our races before we got bumped so we put everything into a small takeout box because they don't have anything bigger than that.
