Such a fun place to visit. The selection of colors to choose from was great. The staff were so friendly, the check in process was easy. The whole studio was filled with art. I think it was worth the price. I will definitely be back. It was also easy to locate in old sac.

My 7 year old and I can here and he so much fun! He loves using the squirt guns to paint his art (and me). I loved having a completely messy experience in the comfort of someone else's space. He loved doing almost anything you want. Plan to shower after :)

Service was 20 out of 10 ! I had so much fun painting my canvas and the walls and wherever I wanted to paint ! There was splat brushes ,paint brushes , paint blasters, paint wipers to decorate. I went for my anniversary and I def will be bringing my kids back and whole family ! I got a coupon off Groupon and saved a few dollars as well great value for everything you get !

Lots of fun for everyone! My 3 older sisters and I celebrate our birthdays all together. Each year, a different sister plans the surprise outing. This year, my second eldest sister picked this place. It was a lot of fun. Kind of cathartic. It was nice to paint the walls and throw paint at a canvas. I'm a pretty artistic person, but I don't have the space for a studio like this. I'd definitely go back for some more paint- spattered fun.

I wanted to do something fun as a family date night and was excited when I saw this place. The only thing I would recommend is signage. It's a newer business but Monae (I hope I spelled her name correctly) is very professional and great at communicating. She let me know she was running a little late (which was not a big deal). The location is right above the Candy store so we took advantage of that. We each got to paint our own canvases and were provided with ponchos, shoe guards and goggles. I highly recommend and will be back!! Thank you again for an awesome time!

I'm just a painter! Painting done by a 4 year old.

We brought our granddaughter here for a birthday present. She's 4 and absolutely loved it!!! What a great activity for kids! And adults.

Looked up on Yelp for kid activities and this place popped up! Took my son and his friends (ages 9-10), they had a blast!!! It was such a fun thing to do to get out of the house and walked around old sac afterwards! Staff are all so helpful and kind, music was fun, and a great way to let the kids be kids and get messy! They also do parties and at the end they give you a box to bring home your painting, which was so helpful for the car ride home.

We hosted my three year olds birthday party here. The event was flawless. Staff was kind and accommodating. Music was wonderful. Kids and parents both had a great time. The ponchos and shoe covers did their job. Plenty of room for extra adults (grandparents etc) to observe the activities without engaging or being in the splatter zone. There's even a party room for drinks and food.

We had a BLAST ! My family and I had a paint session and we were not disappointed! Monet made the process so much fun and exciting ! We had ages 3-50 and everyone enjoyed themselves ! If you are in the Sacramento area make sure you make it point to come check this place out

It gets messy, but the owner, Monet, gives you coveralls and shoe covers so I did not get any paint on my clothes.

Today I took a rainy drive to Carmichael to the Sacramento Fine Arts Center. Parking was easy, but…read moreI didn't get the closest spot to the door this time. The Sacramento Fine Arts Center was extremely busy today, as you can tell by the number of cars in their parking lot. People were meeting with the director going over the available space and others were in the galleries. They have a nice gallery with filled with local artists artwork. They are all juried so you only get to see the best of the best of local artists. Today's painting with paper class was taught by Carol Hawkins. She teaches a monthly classes and plans them out a year in advance so you can get the dates from her. They are monthly on a Friday from 1-4pm. And $75 for the class. She takes Cash or Check. It includes all of this supplies. It's the only way I take classes these days. Buying your own supplies is over rated. You end up with extra supplies you will never use and a total waste of money. That's why I keep coming back for her classes. 1-4pm is the perfect time, you miss most of the traffic and it's during the day light. The only issue is trying to get time off from work, which is tricky. I do treasure my time taking art classes and I find this painting with paper class very enjoyable. I always come home with a wonderful piece of finished artwork. Not all classes are like this. Some classes they don't give you enough time to finish your projects so you end up with a pile of unfinished projects in the back of your closet. This isn't an easy class. You have to have a vision and work fast. There is some time to chit chat, but you also need to be very focused. It takes just the right artist to take this class. Carol also teaches an acrylic class on Saturdays twice a month 1-3pm. It's $35 All supplies included except for the canvas. She asks that you bring a 12x12 or a 11x14 canvas. I got a great deal on a pack of them at Hobby Lobby on sale. I need to take another acrylic class as I have several canvases pre purchased for the class. I don't need to get time off from work to go to the class, but I hate to spend the time away from my family on the weekend. I need to work on balance. I really love taking art classes and it's not always easy finding a good class that work into my schedule. I've taken so many art classes over the years that I've run out of wall space so now I have a gallery in my garage. Our garage is painted a light lavender color as that was the paint that they had on sale at Lowes. It's a great backdrop to my gallery. I hang up my painting with push pins to keep them secure. It works well for the light stretched canvases. The Sacramento FIne Arts Center also has a full community kitchen. I had lunch in it today. I brought my Tupperware full of delicious leftovers and used their microwave. They also have community coffeemakers so you can make several pots at a time for a gallery event. You are welcome to use their kitchen, just leave it how you found it or even cleaner. I hope to see you at the Sacramento Fine Arts center for the next painting with paper class or maybe we can surprise each other and show up at the acrylic class.
