Customer service was amazing! The staff did a great job explaining everything. I also loved that they provided lockers so we could safely store our belongings. Also, it was really nice that they asked about any special song requests. The 45 minutes I signed up for was the perfect amount of time to have fun painting without feeling rushed. It was also a really nice touch that they placed our paintings in a pizza box to take home! My date and I had a great time and it was such a fun way to create new memories together. Our kids received a gift certificate here so we brought them over for a session. I scheduled ahead online a couple of hours beforehand but they do take walk-ins on the weekends. We were only with one other family in our session and it still felt spacious despite sharing a room. It costs $39 per session which is 45 minutes long. They will give you a poncho plus shoe covers so you can be mostly covered, but I'd recommend still wearing old clothes that you don't mind get paint on if it can't fully wash out. There is a sink in the room to wash up after but the water was freezing so we just washed what we could and saved the rest to get off at home. When you book a session you can pick what kind of palette you'd like, and they have some options with 4 colors each. They also had some leftover paint on the side that we were free to choose from also. You can paint the walls, floor, whatever you want, and of course the canvas they give you! The lady who helped us, Monet, made the process super easy and explained everything quickly so we could get started! She even took a before and after photo for us. Our kids had a blast and they had music playing in the room too which made it a fun ambiance. When you're all done they will box up your painting so it's nice and secure for you to take home without getting any more paint on you. Monet sent us off on our way with a smile and truly reminded me that great customer service still exists out there! This place is definitely great for older kids! Ours are 2 and 3, so definitely on the younger side and you're not gonna get any crazy masterpieces, BUT they did have a blast regardless so at the end of the day, the price is worth it for the memories. I saw some adults coming in too without kids, so it's a fun group activity with some friends or even a coworker icebreaker. So many options! Disappointing lack of flexibility for a 60-minute mistake. I am writing this review in hopes of reaching a resolution regarding a reservation I made on Sunday morning, Feb 22. Within one hour of booking a session for next Saturday, I realized my group couldn't make it and immediately called and emailed to cancel. Despite the fact that I cancelled nearly a full week in advance--and within 60 minutes of the initial transaction--the studio refused to issue a refund, offering only a $132 credit. I was under the impression I was simply holding a spot, as the "credit-only" policy was not clearly highlighted during the checkout process; I only saw it in the fine print of the confirmation email after the money had been taken. I understand businesses have policies, but refusing a refund for a mistake caught and reported within the hour feels like a "gotcha" tactic rather than good customer service. I acted in good faith to free up the spots immediately so they could be rebooked. Holding onto $132 for a service that was never rendered and was cancelled almost instantly feels incredibly unfair. Update: The business responded citing 'fairness,' but I want to clarify that the non-refundable policy was not presented clearly before payment-- I only saw it in a confirmation email after my card was charged. I notified the studio within 60 minutes of the mistake for an event still 6 days away. A 'fair' policy for a small business should include a grace period for immediate errors, especially when no loss was incurred. I have since initiated a dispute with my bank. read more

Our company booked this place for a team bonding experience. We had an appointment for 2:45pm. We received an email to arrive 15 minutes in advance. We arrived at 2:30pm. The place was locked up, dark and had letters in front of the door. It looked abandoned. We called the owner multiple times. Finally she called us back and said the worker will be there 3:15pm. We waited around more. Finally at 3:30pm a worker showed up with her fast food bag. The first thing she said was, didn't they tell you that I was going to be late? Lots of fun for everyone! My 3 older sisters and I celebrate our birthdays all together. Each year, a different sister plans the surprise outing. This year, my second eldest sister picked this place. It was a lot of fun. Kind of cathartic. It was nice to paint the walls and throw paint at a canvas. I'm a pretty artistic person, but I don't have the space for a studio like this. I'm a little torn in my review because once things got going, we actually had a really good time. My appointment was for 11 o'clock in the morning with my two young children and my husband. The email they sent with instructions advises you to get there 15 minutes early. We arrived at 10:45 AM and it was dark/empty. By 11:03, there was still nobody there to open the studio. I told my husband we would wait another 10 minutes and then we would leave. Luckily someone arrived at about 1105, maybe a minute later. She seemed pretty stressed out, but she was very nice and provided us with the ponchos and shoe coverings that we needed. As for the actual experience itself, we had a good time, but some of the paint just seems low quality. Colors that you would expect to be vibrant like neon, green, neon, orange, neon, yellow... They just don't really show up if you use any other darker color first. They are almost translucent. So I honestly think they need a different paint that has more pigment whenever I splattered the neon colors on, you couldn't even tell they were there. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and we would probably go again, I was really unhappy that we were waiting for 20 minutes for an employee to arrive. I understand that their first appointment is at 11, but if no one is going to be there until 11 they probably should not advise their customers to arrive 15 minutes early. read more

I wanted to do something fun as a family date night and was excited when I saw this place. The only thing I would recommend is signage. It's a newer business but Monae (I hope I spelled her name correctly) is very professional and great at communicating. She let me know she was running a little late (which was not a big deal). The location is right above the Candy store so we took advantage of that. We each got to paint our own canvases and were provided with ponchos, shoe guards and goggles. I brought my eight and 16-year-old nieces with my 18-year-old son. They had a blast--a great way to release their creativity. You have plenty of time to finish your paintings. You get ponchos and shoe covers; I accidentally bought my white shoes and did not get any paint on them. I am one of 4 girls - and my sisters and I are all grown and it is impossible to buy each other Birthday Gifts... so I created "Sisters' Birthday Celebration Event!" about 9 years ago. Each year one of us is in charge of planning a surprise outting for the 4 of us to participate in together- and we try to find new experiences for under $50 per person. This is the Event I planned for this year's celebration, and we all had a great time. The young lady who checked us in and ran the show for us was sincerely cheerful and displayed real joy in her job.
