Labor Day Weekend. It was packed! Lines moved pretty quick, though, and plenty of age appropriate variety - something for everyone. It's mostly covered. Games were really fun. Been going here since I was a kid so naturally I was excited to take my 2 year old. Not as fun as I remembered but I'm older now so rides don't amuse me much. I can't believe I used to love all these rides. Anyways, it's not bout me but really about what Funland is about. What can you not love about small time rides for the little kids, older kids, and even adults can enjoy! A favorite amongst our family and a place that you must go to, especially if you have or know lil ones! It builds years of memories to pass on down from generation to generation. Definitely a place that is a must try when you are ever in the Rehoboth Beach area with kids! As a parent, all you need to know is that Funland will keep the kiddos entertained for a better part of the day. They have games, rides, games and more games which the family can enjoy for not too much green. My boys love the little kiddie rides which although a bit dated, still do a great job of keeping the monkeys happy. If you're coming to Funland with small kids, I suggest arriving as soon as they arrive (1pm in the summertime) to beat some of the crazy afternoon crowds. We usually arrive a few minutes before 1pm and are able to find some primo parking spots right behind Funland. Getting there early also helps in picking up the rides tix as you won't have to wait in crazy long lines with everyone else. The same goes for the rides, early visitors won't have to deal with long lines for lines and/or games. After 2-3 hours, we're usually ready to head home and by that time (4pm-ish) Funland starts to get pretty crowded. There's something about this place that will tap into your nostalgic side as memories of your own youth come flooding back as you play the games or take a spin in the tea cup ride. :-) read more

But seriously, for $15 we got 50 tickets. Those tickets probably lasted six hours over two days. Absolutely worth it. (Note: it was fun for our daughter, who is almost three.) Rides are 1-3 tickets usually, so you can see that this goes a long way. It was pretty busy but somehow they managed to make it so there weren't really any lines (except the balloon ride). Bottom line: Friendly staff and clean environment, an excellent value for your dollar. Very happy that we stumbled upon this place! Bonuses: smoke-free environment, and almost all the rides are indoors, so rain and very hot weather isn't a problem! (Some of the "older people" rides are outside, so no help for weather on those!) read more

If someone who loved kids sat down and said, 'I'm going to design an affordable place with rides for all ages, and arcade games', it would be Funland. We've been coming to Rehoboth since 1980, in large part because Funland has always been a great evening activity for the kids. The folks who run it are kid friendly and customer helpful. A long time ago one of my kids got a splinter from the boardwalk. I think it was the owner who noticed us and went underneath Funland and returned with a splinter kit. The Haunted Mansion has been a staple of ours as a family. I love that you can now get a photo and was expecting a Six Flags $10 for it, but it was a family friendly Funland price of $5. We always wait in the special last seat line at the pirate boat. It gives a bit of a thrill. read more

What a steal!!! 30 cents per ticket (rides are 2 - 5 tickets each). We got 20 tickets ($6.00) and out kid went on 6 rides. No way that's gonna happen at Hershey or Dorney. Just about the best way to end a day on the beach if you have little ones. 100 tickets for $25, with the most expensive ride costing 4 or 5 tickets. My husband's favorite from his childhood is the Haunted Mansion, which is a fun "track" ride through a haunted house. This is probably the most elaborate ride in the place. There are great little kid rides, like boats, cars, and fire trucks that cost only 1 ticket per ride. With two kids (5 &1), and 4 adults that frequently act like kids our ticket pack still lasted the entire week. Not too shabby! There is also an arcade section with lots of skee-ball and ticket-type arcade machines, and carnival type games along the boardwalk - think ring toss and throw the thing in the thing, or on the thing, or throw the thing to knock the other thing down. We try to avoid those, but usually end up spending a few dollars to throw things anyway. It's location on the south end of the boardwalk is perfect - we generally stay on the north end, so it's a nice walk to end the evening. I've heard that parking close to Funland is sometimes tough, but who doesn't like an evening walk along the boardwalk? read more

I appreciate all the hard work their staff puts in to make Funland fun and keep everybody happy! They always keep me happy! The boardwalk games open early and prizes are easy to win. They have an abundance of kiddie rides that my 3 year old niece and 1.5 year old nephew absolutely loved! The best part is that you pay per ride, so I did not have to pay an entrance fee to see the kids have an awesome time. We came back several times with them just to see the excitement on their faces as they went around and around on swings, cars, boats, and trains. Truly priceless. My only suggestion would be to open the toddler rides earlier than 1pm since little kids tend to wake up early. I am sure parents would appreciate having the option to take their toddler to Funland for rides between breakfast and lunch. read more

This was a great place to play some games and hits some rides. Good for kids of varied ages; there's something for everyone. Located right on the boardwalk, there's so many rides, including Gravatron, a haunted mansion, bumper cars, kiddie boats and more. The games are so fun; a good variety including skee ball, the claw grab, Duck Pond (for the little ones), ring toss, among others. The prices were so cheap - a book of 20 ride tickets was only $7 and the games were no more than $2. My two year old enjoyed it, but as an adult who grew up playing games and going on rides at the Jersey shore, this was a fun place for me to enjoy too! read more

My favorite amuesement place on the Delaware or Maryland shore, bar none. It's the only place where when you walk in, you don't imediately grab your wallet because you feel the giant sucking sound. Instead management has opted for reasonable prices, great entertaining games and rides for a variety of ages of children and friendly staff, who actually seem to like kids! Funland is an awesome traditional amusement park experience. From the boardwalk, it looks unassuming as a large pavilion-like building, but inside it's packed with rides and games, not to mention a small outdoor area with larger rides in the back. Their Haunted Mansion is one of the best classic dark rides anywhere. Riders are in suspended cars that give the feeling of flight as a ghost would through the mansion, which is especially effective as the ride ascends and descends, since most of it it occurs on the second floor above the park's bumper cars. The Cruisers is a really interesting ride (see pics). It looks mild and is still appropriate for small children, but it operates at a lively, fun pace, in both forward and backward directions. You can't beat the prices here either. Rides take anywhere from one to six tickets (see pic) and tickets are only 40 cents each and can be even less when buying $20 or more The kiddie rides are all just one to three tickets. After 15 years of going to Rehoboth (8 with kids) my wife and I didn't even realize this place was there until last summer. And thank God we found it, because FunLand is a lifesaver when it's rainy/not warm enough for the beach. A mix of Chuck-E-Cheese style indoor games and a mini amusement park with rides for people of all ages, Funland is a great place for the entire family. Tickets to amusements are cheap, buy the 100 tickets for $25 already. Some of the rides are just 1 ticket, so your kids can have a good time for hours. The games are extra but most are priced like your typical arcade. There's not much food beyond drinks and popcorn available, but there's plenty of other places on the boardwalk to eat. Some rides are seemingly always closed, but whatever. We love this place and now make it part of every trip. read more

My kids love it here, although it does get BUSY! We try to hit it early in the day in the middle of the week, and it's still packed, but that's the nature of the beast. The lines have never been bad (the longest line is for the haunted mansion), but for 100 tickets for $25 it's one of the cheapest diversions while in the area, and we make sure to hit it at least once during our annual trip. On the rides: some of the rides allow riders who, (in my paranoid opinion!), are probably a bit young to ride on it, so if you have younger children who want desperately to be bigger, you may have to use some discretion, even if they are "big enough". Also, the Sea Dragon is pretty intense, ha! read more

This is one of the best (and cheapest) amusement park/year-round carnival I've been to ever. So I know all you want to know is price, if it's kid-friendly, service and blah blah blah BLAH. No. What I want to do is... *drum roll* ...RIDE ANALYSIS!! Yes I rode some rides and yes I loved them, but I want to talk about is my opinions on the ride. Like my feedback. Disclaimer: This is not a complete list. It is some of the rides I have rode and loved. Here we go! Crazy dazy: your classic teacup ride. Teacups will always be in there as one of the most classic carnival rides and crazy dazy screams that fun, authentic feel. Sea dragon: one of the most thrilling rides in the park it will satisfy all your adrenaline cravings. A giant Viking boat that swings up and down until you lose your lunch. One in my top 3 favorite rides here. Graviton: my favorite ride here, you step into this giant spinning hunk of metal and lights (maybe a space station) and lay down on a mat that's placed on the wall of the ride. The operator gets onto the controls in the middle of the ride, and you start spinning. And spinning and spinning and spinning... And your arms feel heavy and then... THE FLOOR DROPS!! Then your feet are just dangling there then the floor comes back up again the THE FLOOR DROPS AGAIN!! And the whole time your praying you don't fall down or stand up or crash or... So fun Freefall: your very fun old fashioned ummm... Freefall ride. I just love those rides that make you feel like your soaring through the sky and, at the same time, gets you're heart pumping. My third favorite ride in this park. Bumper cars: another one of these classic carnival rides, bumper cars are a staple of fun everywhere. For me, I just don't like getting bumped in the gut. Plus, they are so hard to drive. I thought driving a CAR would be a challenge when I was 15 but a BUMPER CAR is a whole different story. Basically all I could do was either go in circles or go backwards. One of my favorite carnivals ever. read more

This place is my childhood! You shouldn't leave the beach without stopping by here. Kids can sometimes get tired of the beach and I think this is a nice place to take a break. The staff are nice and friendly and the prices are affordable. The prizes are cute little items nothing crazy special but it will put a smile on your face. This is a nice place for a date or a nice time with the family. You will soon realize how easily tickets are gone quickly here so be prepared to spend a little extra to get the prize you want! I think the rides they offered are more than I ever expected and it's good for little ones as well. Best of all this place takes me back to the arcade games. We had a blast at this quaint little beachside amusement park. It was definitely a trip down "Memory Lane", with old-timey rides for toddlers up through more daring ones for teenagers and adults! There were games of skill and food stands as well. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering we went in the midst of summer tourist season at a popular beach. Despite it being crowded, the lines were not too long, and we were able to do everything we wanted without much waiting. It was clean and well- managed. I've loved this place since I was in diapers and it's still fun! The cute kiddie rides are super nostalgic, and the classic Sea Dragon, bumper cars, and teacups are always a blast. Ride tickets are reasonably cheap. The games are good too-- skee ball is great, and the arcade games are a lot of fun. I had forgotten that many of them also spit out prize tickets, so that was an added bonus. My only complaint is that the Haunted Mansion, one of my favorite parts of Funland, doesn't open until so late! 6:30 or later, depending on the day. I understand that it's creepier at night, but it makes it hard to ride it when you're only down at the beach for a day trip. read more

His person stopped moving and she said he didn't make any when I watched him make several. She was super rude to a kid and was wrong.
