I love this place! Someone I knew told me this would be a great place to take the kids on our summer beach trip! We paid I think $70 for us all to jump for the last hour. This was for a family of four including the socks. Going at the last hour before they closed was perfect because it was basically empty! We got to have the place basically to ourselves and the kids had a blast. We are the kind of parents that jump with the kids so all the kids that were there was playing with us because there were no other parents jumping in with their kids. Which I get! It's a lot! We had a great time visiting this location on vacation. There was so much for my two-year-old to do, including jumping balance being video games, even a large jungle gym that she was able to play in. We went on a weekday so it wasn't overcrowded. She had enough space to run around and not be trampled by older. Kids will definitely visit again. read more

We finally ventured into Shell We Bounce on a rainy day! The place is nicely kept and definitely kid friendly for all ages. They have a medium sized soft playground with probably 20 arcade games. The rest of the building is filled with awesome trampolines. There's a dodgeball room, balance beams, jousting activities, etc. There's a "high dive" into a gigantic air bag, which is a huge attraction! The kids had so much fun! It's definitely less pricey than Urban Air up in Newark, DE. We'll absolutely be back! read more

Came to Dewey for a little family getaway. Unfortunately the weather was cruddy. That's what brought us, and our 2 year old to Shell We Bounce. After reading a few reviews, I was concerned, and wasn't sure what to expect. . Shall We Bounce exceeded our expectations. The facility was clean, well maintained, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint was the excessive wait at the concession stand. But, when you hire teens, it's to be expected. Whoever owns the joint should try to explain to the inattentive employees the importance of customer service. . I recommend this place to parents that need something to do when the weather isn't cooperative. read more

It wasn't as big as I'd thought. I Saw pictures with inflatables and there weren't any. The little kids area was very small and didn't hold their interest. Nothing like in the pictures. The biggest reason I'm rating this a 2 is because of how filthy and run down the place was along with the staff. Trash everywhere- on the arcade games, floor, play area. I didn't dare to eat or drink from here. Even the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty. It looks fairly newer but the place needs lots of TLC. Broken glass on one of the arcade machines, painters tape over broken pieces of other machines, play area padding ripped or damaged, one of the bolts on the slide was missing a cap and had tape over top of it. Real shotty band aids work over fixing and repairs. I saw people working there but no one was available behind the ticket counter or the food area. Lots of employees hanging out in the employee area. It was weird. Like no one was "working". The staff also didn't enforce any type of rules. Not sure why they're even there. Maybe hire less people since your paying them to do nothing- and use that money to fix up and make repairs....just a thought. read more

The trampolines and stuff are pretty good. But beware: their prices are not customer friendly. As we were checking in I was deciding whether to pay $12.50 for an hour, $18 for 90 minutes, or $20 for 2 hours. The woman behind the counter told me not to worry about it because we could always pay more later. To double check I asked if she meant I could still get these prices later, and she said I could. So I bought an hour. When the hour was up I went up to upgrade to a longer time. At this point she told me we had to pay full price for an extra hour: $15 rather than the $7.50 difference between the 1 hour and 2 hour price. By this point my kids were excited about playing more. The woman offered me a compromise of paying the 30 minute rate ($10) for an hour. But this was more than the $5 to $7.50 I was expecting to pay. The woman behind the counter said she couldn't give me a better rate because of how their system is set up. She is probably telling the truth and I don't really blame her. But I do blame the owners of the business for not establishing a customer friendly culture. read more

I was excited to see how much they have to offer. There was one section that wasn't up and running which was a bummer. None of the staff were very involved at all. Some times it was hard to tell which kids were employees and which were there to jump. All of that aside we had a blast. I especially enjoyed the balance beam where you joust another person off. Not sure what that's called. You are required to purchase their socks for $2 I'm sure you can bring them for next time. They had a cafe where you could buy snacks and drinks. There was also a lounge area overlooking the entire place where parents could hang out in recliners, that was cool! 2 hours was plenty for us! We will be back read more

The staff "watching kids" in the bounce area are playing with play dough not even paying attention to the kids, the arcade is a waste of time and money! 3 kids and 3 cards each with one credit left, can't combine cards and no refund but no was to spend the 1 credit on each card because there is no one credit machine to use it on....staff says add more money to them. Prizes are over priced compare to other arcades that are way better. Not to mention no staff at the prize line as everyone at the checkouts were sitting around chatting not waiting on customers. Three years ago we found this place when we moved in the area. The price is great and it's awesome for a rainy day activity. That being said, I'm so disappointed to see how run down it has become. Even though there was only 1 family in front of me, check in took about 10 minutes. Several employees were just hanging out in the employee room. There was trash all over the floors, even though no drinks or snacks should be near the trampoline area. The eating area was a wreck with no one cleaning the tables. The carpets are showing much wear and tear. The employees just stand around not enforcing any rules. It seems there are just teenagers running the place and sadly are not doing a good job. It will be awhile before we come back again! Hopefully in the meantime, Shell We Bounce will get a makeover and new management. read more

I had a fun time bouncing on the trampolines with my sister. I think this place would be fun for kids and adults alike. The bouncing area includes basketball and dodgeball. The staff in the bouncing area didn't seem that attentive to the little kids (I enjoyed not feeling like staff was watching me though) and the front-desk staff were chill. Will never go back. Here with 11 year old. Used to come many summers. Today it is dirty. Not on smiling face large bounce thing with ladder unsupervised with many kids on ladder at once. Cleaning spray bottles next to hand sanitizer. Could be easily confused for little kids. Paper on floor. Dodgeball area ok except kid with Staff on shirt was playing with the kids instead of supervising jump areas. My son did like the dodgeball. Also large bounce with ladder was so Low on inflation to be almost flat and dangerous. Also it was torn up in many places. Too many other things that could be mentioned that made me write this review. This place used to be really nice. Never coming back. A pity. Shell We Bounce saved our otherwise completely rained out beach vacation! Our two year old loved it and still asks for the "bouncy bouncy park." It was also very clean and well run. I was worried my daughter was too little to enjoy it, but there were plenty of places that were designated for littler kids. Lastly, I love the colors/decor! Great place. read more

We were traveling in for vacation when a huge storm blew through and I needed something fun for the kids to do. The place is very clean and has something for all ages. A moon bounce area for kids under 5, larger moon bounces and a fun floor area with various activities. You pay by the hour or you can purchase a discounted week bounce pass. If we were to go back for the remainder of the stay, this would have been the way to go. The food and drinks were way over priced and the "steps" for the kids to climb up were these loops that were a bit difficult for the kids to maneuver. The other downside was I was only able to accompany my small son in the bigger slides until more kids showed up. As this happened I had to let him do things on his own and risk being trampled by the bigger kids. Also, a few bins in the middle of the play area floor for drips from the ceiling. Other than that, the kids loved it and it was a great way to spend a rainy day! read more

Not sure why this place is so dirty since there are a ton of employees just sitting around. Took forever to check in and even longer to cash in tickets for prizes. Not to mention I had to ask the lady four or five times to ask us in which she had an attitude. I've purposely avoided this place because of our last experience which was equally worse then this visit. I'll keep driving to two hours out of my way to go somewhere cleaner. This place was ok, my daughter enjoyed herself, it was literally a bouncing place. The day we came, it was very empty, i think it was 4 kids in total. Priced reasonably, if you forget socks for the kiddos they sell it in the counter. The toilet is well maintained which is a big plus. read more

Have been here on at least two occasions. Both times the place has been clean, staff friendly, and the kids have an absolute blast! There is a great mix of easy to access bouncers for the youngest kids and harder ones for the more mobile (older) kids. Have thoroughly enjoyed our visits. read more

I was in Delaware to visit my mom, and we wanted to take my daughter and her cousin somewhere fun. This place popped up on google first, and honestly the fact that it had an arcade, playground, trampolines AND inflatables won me over. When we arrived we had planned for just the kids to play, but by the end of the night, all of us were up there jumping and over at the arcade playing games. My mother and I both are bigger and have always been self conscious.. However, that didn't matter here. We didn't feel judged or out of place at all. We had so much fun just jumping and playing games we totally skipped over the fact it had inflatables. I wish the party packages were better, Id totally book my daughters party here. I 100% recommend for all ages, and body types. There is something for everyone! Especially on a gloomy day! The socks are pretty cool too . read more

My 6 year old niece had a lot of fun. The reason for 3 stars is because 15 to 20 people were not wearing masks. I said something to manager and was told she would take care of it. Ten minutes later a recording came on saying mask was manditory, however, none of the people without mask paid any attention. Wow. So glad this is here. With a cloudy day and strong winds the beach seemed less ideal for a toddler. So glad this place exists. Decently sized and they have great adult seating (including plastic adirondack chairs). Also respectable snacks ranging from the child favorite/adult bane- ring pops to applesauce packs. A great place to take the little ones on a cold or rainy night. There are multiple bounce houses, ample parking, and drinks and snacks. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Although we haven't done it, they have a parents night out which allows you to drop off your kid from 5-8pm on Saturday night. It's costs $35/kid and it includes pizza, a drink, ice cream, an activity, and unlimited bouncing. We'll definitely be partaking in that soon! Bathroom was clean and included steps tools for kids. I was quite ticked when I found out I had to pay $2.00 for their "special Jump socks" (the same kind you can get in any other bouncy place). I asked the girl if we could bring in socks from other bouncy houses, and she said it was not allowed. She said she also agreed it was absolutely ridiculous. Then the two color sock options they offer are girly colors, and my six year old son even said, "I have to wear these girly colored socks?" Not much air flow either. Very humid inside. I was recently on vacation, and took advantage of the Parents' Night Out babysitting service twice. I was apprehensive about leaving my 2.5 year old son, but the child to adult ratio was low, and the program seemed well supervised. The first night we were about 15 minutes early, and when we arrived the children were quietly coloring at a table. Since I knew my son had fun, we returned a few nights later. The second night we were about 40 minutes early. When we arrived, both staff members were at the front desk, and the children were not in their range of vision. We walked to the back to find our 2.5 year old son completely unsupervised, climbing a giant slide, alone with some children who were considerably older than him. There is so much that could have gone wrong in that situation, and I am just grateful that my son wasn't seriously injured. read more
