we went on a Sunday and the crowd was not bad. Last year we came on a weekday and it was full of summer campers. The park is clean but very small. Good for small children and families. The downside is that it's very expensive to enter $50 a person even for children. They also make people pay to enter the park even if they're not going to use any of the water amenities. I paid $50 to sit and watch my children play in and out of the water for five hours. they do not allow any outside food or drink. all of the employees are very friendly, and the lifeguards are very attentive. read more

After coming to Jungle Jim's for a few years now, it must be a sign that we like it there. My daughter is a bit older and able to enjoy the entire park. They are equipped with water slides, lazy river, wave pool, splash pads, and more. The day that we went had a gathering for the national guard so I believe that is why is was so crowded when we went. Typically the water slides aren't too long of a wait. The lazy river just gets crowded and you are always bumping into someone. Annoying! My daughter and her friend had a blast! read more

Awesome little water park. The wait times were very good. Anaconda is an awesome slide. The after 3:00 special is all you need.

Came here as we didn't want to do another beach day (first world problems, right?) and had an absolute blast. I figured it would be more of a kids place, to be honest, but I will say it's definitely not. Don't get me wrong - kids will LOVE IT, but so will adults. The lazy river was a favorite. Takes about 20 or so minutes to make it around and when the waves are turned on, it adds a bit of excitement that you can feel on the "ride". There are about 6 or so other water slides that range from single rider to double (if you want) or even one ride up to 5 people. In addition, they also have mini golf and bumper boats (we didn't see anyone on either) for an additional cost. Food stand is located on the park and you can buy cold drinks and food there. Locker rentals (small and large) are on-site. We picked the large locker at $10 for the day rental and you can select a code to open/close the locker at will for the day which is nice as it's not a one-time only locker. They also have a small arcade as well as a beach volleyball set up. It was a great time! Adult prices were $38 for the day. read more

Can't give it 5 starts because some things could be improved but our 7 year old, 13 year old, and 16 year old all loved it. Between the water park batting cages and mini golf we spent 7 hours here. The best part: this place is clean (even the bathrooms). Two boys, ages 7 and 8, were entertained for hours!!! Great water slides. There were plenty of guards, both posted in chairs and roaming, so it felt very safe. Lines were not too long. I think the lazy river was the best, but the boys vote for Anaconda! Food was ok and not priced too high. Koi pond was entertaining. The park closed right at 6:00 and everyone was cleared out quickly, so be sure to use the bathroom at 5:59 because they lockdown at 6:00 on the nose. We had a great time!!! read more

Pros: Great for older kids because they can use the whole park...water slides and lazy river. Cons: For the young children I don't think it's worth it... There's not enough for them to do. My daughter was too young to go on the slides so she did have a good time playing in the kids play area but it doesn't require a whole day and it's too pricey to go for a few hours. The food is also horrible. You're better off going to the Wawa across the street or bringing your own food and eating it in the parking lot. read more

Jungle Jims is the largest waterpark in Delaware. I was here last year for the first time. At that time my family of six enjoyed ourselves, therefore, we returned here again. This time I returned here with my family of five including two young children in June. There is lots of parking. You can't bring your own bottled drinks here. Any bottled drinks including water must be left at the entrance. Your own refillable water bottles are permitted. I assume they want you to purchase your drinks other than water here. Our children were above 42 inches in height, therefore, they were charged the adult rate of $48 per person. We had access to the entire facility, including all water slides. There were no limitations. My total bill for the five of us was therefore $240. They have a cafe and gift shop. The cafe line is long during lunch. I recommend going either before or after the lunchtime rush. They also have bathrooms with showers. The place is quite impressive for a wide range of young and older ages. The Anaconda water slide is the most exciting two man water slide. They also have a five person water slide. I enjoyed all of the water slides, the lazy river and the wave pool. There is also a kiddie pool for the younger children. I will definitely return here when the weather is good. read more

Took my family on July 26, 2021 which is normally a great time. If we had known what we were going to a drunk fest, we would've never went. We have been going there for 18 years going on 3 generations. I was floored an mortified by what happened. While in the women's bathroom there was a girl from a group party, locked in the stall passed out. With staff trying to get the drunk girl to unlock the door. The bathroom attendant trying to get help, yet keep her position on task. When I exited the bathroom to find a on duty Jungle Jim's manager, to my surprised there was two male managers standing at the entrance of the bathrooms. When I expressed my concern about what was going on, they said they knew about an couldn't do anything about it. After 20 minutes of watching the constant group of friends going in an out of the bathroom coming out laughing. Being in the medical field an taking a oath, of making sure a human is being treated an not in distress. I got a family member to take the kids away so I could go back in, to make sure that she was alert an not aspirating. When I walked in they were laughing and banging on the stall, while there were families of all ages watching the actions of coworkers. There was a lady who was just a guest standing in the toilet looking over the stall. And the other stall was her coworker laughing she was putting it Snapchat. Than a chair was brought in where a rod was used to unlock the door. When I asked the attendant how long she was in the stall, hunched over the toilet facing to the left of the stall. She said close to 40 minutes. When 3 coworkers carried her out she had throw up all over her clothes, hair an face. I asked where they were talking her, that she shouldn't be left alone. I was advised to a car in the parking lot, until her room mate got there. Hours  later it only got worse with the actions of the party, standing on the steps with alcohol blocking guest going to the pirate ship. Which that area is near the mini wave pool an handicap ramp. When we were crossing the bridge they were pouring beer over the ledge laughing, about having the best TikTok. I said come guys really this is a family park with kids everywhere, they laughed and said the owner of three local Dewey bars is here and will buy an sell anyone there. Followed by dropping to their knees and saying this one is for you bitch an chugged a can of beer laughing. When at the pirate ship talking to other guest and our friends & family about the situation. A lady was told by one of the bartenders of North beach get over it, we have a special permit for alcohol and laughed at her. Than said don't be such a negative Karen, if you don't like it leave. That the owner will stand behind their employees of the bars. While in line at the slides out came the f bombs an line jumping of smaller guests, who were in line waiting their turn after waiting longer than normal a dad went to find out what was taking so long for the kids to come down. When he got up there he was approached with we are all together so we don't have to get in line. Not only were they using profanity, but at no time should they be using the N word and calling their coworkers Retarded. That's a very hurtful word to be throwing around, that's what caused us to leave when our down syndrome son was effected with the ignorance. It was in our best interest to leave before things got out of hand. Honestly they should consider their selves lucky. When I left I asked for the manager at the window an she wasn't available, I called and left a message called back 4 times and called Lingo's since they are listed as the owners an property management. I was then able to get a name for a lady named Connie, I talked to her for 5 minutes seemed as if she cared, but than again that's her job to portray as she will handle it. I left two voicemails prior speaking to Connie an 24 hours later not a call back from anyone there. Thanks so much for showing us who you cater to, we are a group of 13  pass holders who won't be renewing our passes. Went here for mini golf over labor day weekend and they had two newly renovated mini golf courses both of which were beautiful, very clean. The lady working the mini golf booth was a sweetheart. Haf to keep masks on while at the booth but o the course you were allowed to have them off which i kinda appreciated. They have bogo mondays for mini golf which is awesome and youre allowed to play both courses once you pay! Definitely would recommend checking this spot out as they also have a water park read more

Awesome water park. Pros: fun water slides/activities for all ages from toddler to teenagers. The water slides use a combination of rafts and tubes that have water jet accelerators to go up and down like a roller coaster. Ample shaded seating from the hot sun. A small wave pool connected to a long lazy river. Good (standard) food available in the form of burgers, chicken fingers, fries, hot dogs. Nice and functional lockers of various sizes operated by a kiosk. Surprisingly updated and relatively clean bathrooms for a park of this size. There are life guards stationed everywhere and a well staffed first aid station. Cons: a little pricey but well worth it. Also, there is a $5 military discount. Overall: excellent water park. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Food was so reasonably priced, I actually made the cashier double check that he rang everything up correctly. It was delicious to boot. The lifeguards were vigilant and attentive. The only complaint I have, and this is more of a personal preference, is that the female guards were wearing VERY skimpy bathing suits. I'm talking thongs. Just seemed highly inappropriate to me. My family and I really loved this place. There are a lot of seating areas, bathrooms are clean and roomy, food prices and quality are decent. There is a huge lazy river in the middle of the place with bridges that connect you into the middle area of the lazy river where you can lounge and children can play. In the middle area the water is about a foot deep and there are little water slides all over the place with a medium sized water slide near by. There is also a separate splash park / water slide area that was nice and fun. There are about 4-5 bigger water slides. 1 of them is a 5 seater, another is a 2 seater and the others you have to ride alone. 1 thing I will say about this place is that it's catered toward young children and families which is perfect for me because I have 2 little ones. It's $38 for a day pass which gives you access to the park from opening to close 10 - 6. My son is 4 and he is taller then 42 inches and had to pay full price. He was able to ride most of all the water slides as long as I rode with him. Great fun time! Will definitely be back. read more

I went with my nanny fam on vacation and we spent a day here. It was a great experience for the kids. There was so much to do and none of them got bored within the 6 hours we spent there. The lines really weren't too bad when waiting for the big slides. The lifeguards were kind and ensured our safety on everything. It is a bit expensive if you're only going to go for a couple hours of the day, so I would plan on spending most of the day there. You're also not allowed to bring any food or drinks into the park (they check your bags), but they do have a place to get both inside. The food was surprisingly good. It was very clean here though, the water was clean no bandaids or anything. I will be returning it was a lot of fun. The mini golf was fun too! read more

[Review only of mini-golf] This is the best mini golf in the area. Both 18 hole courses are interesting, clean and well maintained. The one that starts on the left (I forget the flag color) is the better one, but both are good. They're both safari themed with a bunch of animals. It's taken a long time, but this spot deserves a review. Rolled through this past July with some friends who are like aged, making us the four oldest folk there who didn't bring kids (and there was about a 15 year gap between the next oldest, who happened to be the lifeguards), but I didn't feel weird at all, in fact the age difference made it much easier for me to elbow, shove, and cut my way to the front of the lines, not that they were very long anywho. I had free passes, so I don't know if the price is worth it here, but the fun sure is abundant. Water slides whip you about, and my buddy and I enjoyed racing each other to see which tubes were fastest, but the big multi person tube ride was a little tough with four adults inside. My favorite ride at all parks is the lazy river (go figure), and it was just as lazy as I like it here too; there were a few jet streams to give you a nice speed burst, a couple water falls so you could cool off from the sun, and the river's water temp was high enough that no one will notice when you tinkle. Only downer for us that day was the wave pool not operating and the bumper boats being closed (though boats set sail as we were leaving, so it was probably late workers since no repairs were done). Also got in a round on one of their two mini golf courses and it was not too shabby; I'd give it a 7 out of ten for a rating, with bonus points for having a hole underneath the slides so I could get wet. read more

Really great water park, but we arrived @ opening (10 am) and stayed till they kicked us out (6 pm) to make the price worth it. CLEAN. Organized. Fun. Loved the lazy river!! Kids had a blast. Sort of pricey to make it a regular thing. Cafe prices were good. Food was tasty. Only 2 negatives: #1) Employees the cafe: ONE girl working. FIVE employees sitting in a circle, playing grab-butt and texting on their cell phones. Doesn't this place have a break room? Not that I even thought for a minute they were actually on break. But unprofessional none-the-less. #2) Employee cleaning the bathroom @ closing time GRUMBLING "under her breath" about the park and bathrooms being closed while I'm using the facility. I can hear you. And I'd have more respect if you told me "I'm sorry, rest rooms are closed" to my face when I asked you if it was okay to use it first. So I guess management says yes, but employee thinks no. And grumbles unprofessionally under her breath about it in the meanwhile. read more

This is a very fun water park if your in the rehoboth area looking for something to do! It is a bit pricey but if you have kids, they can get the use of the money you pay there! They have very fun large water slides, and several smaller children and toddler water slides! There is a children's playground area with two water slides and lots of little fountains the spray out of the ground, that can entertain children for hrs! Also have a large tiki bucket that fills up and pours down that children love to be under! It's a great children's area! The lazy river that they have with a wave pool and couple fountains you can go under in between, is the main, relaxing attraction! It's a lot of fun, and you can just float around for hrs! They also have a many other attractions you can do such a mini golf, bumper boats, go karts, and batting cages! They keep their facilities and all areas very clean which is also a plus! Jungle Jim's is one of our favorite traditions of going to the beach in Delaware. We have been going here every year for the past 4 or 5 years. The lazy river is the main attraction. My son can't get enough of the wave pool. This year my daughter was big enough to go on the water slides so we all had an amazing time. The little ones can have fun in the kiddie pool area. They have their own mini water slides there. They give you a life jacket for the kids if you need one (for free). There is something for everyone here. There are plenty of comfortable lounge chairs to relax in if you are a parent and the kids want to go off on their own. They have lockers you can rent to stash your clothes and car keys. Everything is taken care of here. I recommend this water park for a fun day away from the beach. If you go after 4pm it's only $25 per person ($10 savings) and you can stay until 8pm. read more

This is a small waterpark but its ideal for little kids and families. The park was clean and I enjoyed the scenery and statues throughout the park. I especially liked the lazy river. There were plenty of teenage lifeguards on duty, but they weren't friendly or welcoming. For example, no one greeted us when we entered the park or said "thanks for coming." Also, the lifeguards didn't say anything to us at the watersides. A "hi" would have been nice. They just talked amongst themselves. Also, some of the lifeguards didn't assist us when getting in and out of the slides. Many of the guards didn't seem approachable and it seemed like they really tried to avoid any conversation, as odd as it sounds. Although we didn't eat at the "cafe," it didn't seem worth trying. I would recommend eating outside the park. Plenty of deck chairs and tables for families to lounge. Nice lockers and bathrooms. The prices were reasonable compared to other water parks. I would highly recommend Water Country USA in VA if you're looking for a huge waterpark with friendlier and more outgoing staff. However, the small size of this park was fine. read more

We went to Jungle Jim's on a Tuesday after 4pm to take advantage of the reduced admission fee. My five year old had a great time! She's over 42" tall and although not a full fledged swimmer, she's comfortable in the water. She's also a little thrill-seeker so she was able to go on all the water slides and enjoy them. Her favorite was the Anaconda. It was mine too. This place was very clean and well taken care, especially the bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. There were also plenty of lifeguards on hand. We did not get any food so I can't speak for the quality. If we are ever in the Rehoboth area, we will be back. read more

My family and I have been going to Bethany Beach for over a decade now. My kids have always wanted to try jungle Jim's. Today my son and I went and although $38 a person is a little steep, we had an absolute blast. We were there for about three hours with almost 0 lines and could not have had more fun. Anaconda was our favorite but to be honest to only have six waterslides seems a little lacking. With that being said the lazy river was big, the wave pool was entertaining, with the caveat of when it was working. Early in the morning it seemed to be running consistently but by the afternoon it would shut down approximately every 20 minutes. The food prices were high, however my chicken tacos were very good. If you want to beat this, you can leave the park,go to Wawa right next-door eat and come back to the park. We will definitely be back. read more

I don't recommend coming here if your children can't play well with others or uncomfortable to play with others. I had a man tell me to ask my son to leave his daughter alone because he was following her trying to get her attention to play. Yeah no not denying my son fun because you have her scared to play with others. This is a place for children to have fun, make new friends and run their energy out. I visit Jungle Jim every summer with my kids. In fact it is a highlight of their vacation. After today's experience, we won't be continuing our patronage of this organization. Here is what happened... we arrived at 2:59 pm to purchase the twilight tickets. Twilight hours begin at 3. I paid, we received our bands, rented a locker as and as I was opening the locker, an announcement was heard that thunder was heard and everyone was instructed to vacate the premises. Because of my specific situation, I asked for a refund. They refused and said if after 3 hours they were closed, at that time, they would issue a voucher. Having worked in a customer service industry, I found the lack of flexibility and willingness to appease 3 families, including mine, who were in similar situations and who value their time AND money (in this time and age) to be truly disappointing. I am a single mother who saves all year to visit the beach with her kids. Taking my kids to Jungle Jim is not a cheap expense. I visited for 5minutes and wasted over $140 today. read more

We went with our three children (5.5, 4, and 2), and had a great time. We were a little nervous that the kids wouldn't have enough to do if they weren't tall enough for the big slides, but we ended up staying at the park for 6 hours. We spent most of our time in the two splash areas with smaller slides and in the lazy river. You can use the parks life jackets, and I also saw some kids wearing their own puddle jumpers. My oldest kid (5.5) was tall enough for the bigger slides--the wait was never more than 15 minutes or so and the slides were awesome. No outdoor food or drink is allowed in the park, but the food was very reasonably priced (and tasted good). I was also impressed with how clean the park was overall. Definitely recommend! read more

Sometimes, you just want to act like a kid again. So after a night of partying in Dewey, my sister, our friend and I decided to skip the beach and head to Jungle Jim's, the water park that we had passed by several times and could not stop talking about. Best. Idea. Ever. For $29, we were each fitted with a wristband, granting us all-day access to "The River Safari Water Park." We spent about half of our time in the lazy river, which had waterfalls and a wave pool. The park wasn't overly crowded, so we didn't feel like everyone was on top of one another which was great and made for a more relaxing day. The other half of our time was spent going on a water slide which had a circular raft large enough to fit five people. One of the best things about the park was that it was so well kept and very clean. Also, the decorations and jungle theme were too cute. We might have stuck out from the crowd as we were the only adults in the park without children, but the bottom line was, we had a great day and can't wait to go back next summer! read more
