I figured it would be more of a kids place, to be honest, but I will say it's definitely not. Don't get me wrong - kids will LOVE IT, but so will adults. The lazy river was a favorite. Takes about 20 or so minutes to make it around and when the waves are turned on, it adds a bit of excitement that you can feel on the "ride". There are about 6 or so other water slides that range from single rider to double (if you want) or even one ride up to 5 people. In addition, they also have mini golf and bumper boats (we didn't see anyone on either) for an additional cost. Food stand is located on the park and you can buy cold drinks and food there. Locker rentals (small and large) are on-site. We picked the large locker at $10 for the day rental and you can select a code to open/close the locker at will for the day which is nice as it's not a one-time only locker. They also have a small arcade as well as a beach volleyball set up. It was a great time! Adult prices were $38 for the day.

With that being said, the guy that works here is an absolute miserable person. To explain, I went to pick up a scorecard and he flipped out. He yelled and said that "he was the only one allowed to touch the scorecards". This is a mini golf course, not the Masters. Furthermore, he wouldn't let you pick your own club so my club was way too short for me. On top of that, he let way too many people on the course at once and it was impossible to move. It took almost two hours to finish the course. Also, when I was in the middle of a hole, the guy came out with leaf blower and was holding everyone up. Just an unbelievable experience. In the same manner, the course itself was not good. To clarify, the course was extremely hilly and the greens were uneven. The golf balls would just roll by themselves. In addition, the course was only designed for right handed players. There were several holes where you couldn't even hit as a lefty due to trees and bushes. It was simply a poorly designed course. In all, Shell We Golf is one of the worst mini golf courses that I've ever played due to poor design and rude employees.

My only complaint is that the course was changed to a Christmas theme, and Christmas music is played very loudly throughout the entire course. I understand and appreciate the holiday theme, but as a suggestion, it would be nice to have other music rather than only Christmas songs. I think that would make the experience more enjoyable for a wider range of guests. Overall, this is just friendly feedback. If the music selection changes in the future, I would definitely consider coming back and giving the course another try.

The dinosaurs all looked happy and healthy, the "greens" were in good shape, all of the seating appeared to have been painted and refreshed, and they installed large umbrellas to help keep players in the shade.
