The offer daily dinner specials - one signature dish every day of the week. Pizza & calzones are popular here. Salads, burgers, wraps, & some Italian dishes are served. We had Irish nachos crispy potato tots with shredded corned beef, Guinness caramelized onions, cheddar & thousand island dressing ($15.99)-enough for 2-4 people. I haven't been here in so long and I came here for a birthday party recently. We had so much fun doing karaoke. The staff is amazing. Good food. And there was a huge screen that had puppies and funny stuff playing all night. The food was ordered by the party. Pizza and wings and tots. The pizza had ricotta and tomatoes and crust was thin and a little crispy. So good! The buffalo wings were really good. I didn't try the tots. Someone ordered loaded tots and they looked amazing. I can't say it enough, the staff was phenomenal. They even joined in the fun. We didn't want for anything. They checked on us constantly. What a great neighborhood pub! Everyone has a great time. We received excellent service Sunday night. After the Harbor Jam concert we needed a late dinner at 930pm. Our server was very polite and checked in several times to ensure dinner went well. The buffalo chicken salad is a huge portion with tangy blue cheese. The chicken Ceasar wrap is lightly grilled, plenty of chicken and a delicious side of mac salad and pickles. OMG... another take-out! DH ordered Buffalo Chicken Wrap $10.99 spicy sauce with lettuce tomatoes & blue cheese dressing and an order of Potato Nuggets $4.99 & side of cheese sauce $1.50. Didn't know this was an added charge. He liked his choices he always does. I ordered Boneless Buffalo Wings $10.50 (1/2 lb) I would say about 10-12 pieces. It came with carrots, celery and blue cheese dressing. Well, the wings were not crispy at all actually the breading was soft, mushy.. not good! I thought maybe it was caused by the styrofoam container holding in the steam.. not sure. It's so hard to get good take home food the only really good that I have had is from an Italian restaurant if it is baked and in a tinfoil container... definitely not fried foods as they get mushy! This place is right down the street from me so the location is very convenient but I always assumed it was a dive bar and was hesitant to try it based on the mediocre reviews and old poor quality pics. The name further confuses me because the only NOLA esq dish they have is jambalaya. Otherwise it's a mix of Italian and pub food. It's hard to distinguish what they are known for. I decided to keep it basic and ordered a side salad and hot wings. My gf ordered honey bbq wings and a small cheese pizza. For only having a few customers it took an ungodly long time for the food to come out. Probably about 30-40 mins just for the salad. The waitress apologized and blamed the wait on a surge of delivery orders. Not sure why inside orders aren't given a priority. The salad was fresh and bigger than I expected for $3.99. I barely got started on it when the rest of the food came out. The wings were steaming hot, crispy, and sauced perfectly. I was surprised that their hot sauce was noticeably hotter than I was used to but had a great combination of flavors compared to most places that are just a variation of Frank's. One of the best hot wings I've had outside of Buffalo. The pizza was very basic and similar to Chuck E Cheese but in a good way. Looking thru the menu I couldn't believe they make their own bread for their sub rolls as well as homemade corned beef. Based on this and my first experience this seems like a real hidden gem that's not on the yelp radar. They could do well with some better promotion if they work on their service. Once again the Colonie police needed to pay this establishment a visit as a fight broke out around 1030pm. I live next door and when I heard one person say he was going to f*** someone up, I decided to call the police. A group of us who roam around taverns looking to enjoy pizza, wings, mozzarella sticks with Melba sauce, and good beer, decided to check out Bourbon Street Bar & Grill. The place is clean, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere with its wood paneled walls and booths feels more like you are at an upstate country pub than on Bourbon Street in NOLA. In fact, I don't recall seeing a single dish on the menu that you would expect to find throughout N'Orleans. No gumbo, no jambalaya, no étouffée, no crawfish, no po'boys, no muffaletta, no red beans and rice! Maybe that's false advertising. So why did we go there? Well like I said, they did have on their menu, pizza, wings, mozzarella sticks with Melba sauce, and beer. We started with a pitcher of beer that is made especially for them by the local Chatham Brewery. I like a lot of what Chatham brews, but this would have been lower on my list of favorites from them because it seemed too light on the hops and malt. Our second pitcher of Sam Adams Winter Lager was more to my liking. Other than those two brews there was nothing else that our group was in a hurry to order from the standard list of bigwig corporate brews. As for the food, the hot wings were good, they were just spicy enough and moist with a good amount of flavor. The garlic wings were apparently a little less desirable to our group as I couldn't persuade anyone to eat the last two. We also ordered a basket of Potato Nuggets (tots) which were really difficult to palm off after everyone tried one. We did also try some boneless wings that got a mixed reaction from our group. I thought they were decently moist with a mix of light and dark meat, but I think the heavy crispy breading put off some folks. The Mozzarella Sticks were pretty standard Sysco variety with a raspberry sauce that seemed more lumpy than jamey and awkward for dipping. Overall, mediocre at best after having tasted close to two dozen preparations in the last two years. The pizza was average at best. I'd suggest requesting it well done to get it more crispy unless you enjoy a chewy crust with little to no browning on the sides and bottom. Our first pie was topped with mozzarella, sausage, bacon, and jalapeño. Cheese lovers will likely enjoy all this cheese, but it did seem too much for the base of the pie. Our second pizza was their Buffalo chicken pie. Again, too much cheese for my taste, even though the crust was a bit more well done on this one. I almost didn't notice that there was a piece of chicken on my slice. There was no doubt however, that plenty of Buffalo hot sauce had been zig-zaged across the top. The menu also includes a number of Italian dishes such as Stromboli, Calzone, and Ziti with meatballs or sausage. Karaoke goes on almost every night and the music can get rather loud even when no one is at the mic. And contrary to their web page stating that it starts a 9 pm on Thursday, we learned that it actually starts a 8 pm like most other nights. read more

Well hold your pants sir, I brought you to the BEST karaoke joint with the best bar food around- (we realized this after spending our Friday night here). From the outside this place looks like a legion for the older crowd. I missed the side street you have to turn on to access the parking lot so I ended up turning around in a empty car lot in back of the establishment (hence why my boyfriend was wondering where the heck I was taking him). Did a quick u-turn and pulled into the actual parking lot. The parking lot was full around 9 on a Friday night but there is plenty of street parking as well. Got IDed at the door. They have a full bar and plenty of booths. They have karaoke every Friday + Saturday night!!! My kinda place. They draw in somewhat of an older crowd which is a win-win for everyone... better song selections by the crowd + overall chill crowd, no annoying young girls singing SINGLE ladies by Beyoncé or those other garbage, ear bleeding songs. Waitress came right over. Ordered a few beers, some buffalo chicken wing dip for an appetizer, sat back, and started jamming to the karaoke!!! Everyone was singing having a good ol' time. Recommendation #1: ORDER THE BUFFALO CHICKEN WING DIP. The absolute best. Buffalo sauce, grilled chicken and cheese mixed together with tortilla chips on the side (see picture). This is one of my favorite bar foods and only select few places do it right, bourbon street bar&grill being one of them. We demolished this and you should too. They have some great food options. Pizza, salad, wraps, burgers. Everything sounded great. (Look at the pictures, I posted the menu for y'all). I ended up ordering my usual... my favorite... "MELT IN YOUR MOUTH" Reuben sandwich. Thinly sliced corned beef (made in house), Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing on grilled rye bread. It melted in my mouth for sure. I like my Reuben's smothered with Russian dressing so I asked for extra which the waitress brought over right away. Boyfriend got a meat calzone stuffed with ricotta, motz cheese and sausage. According to him it was the best calzone he's ever had. My opinion, it wasn't the BEST but it was good and huge, big enough for 3+ people. I could stay here all night jamming to karaoke! The host is super fun and he has a great voice. He often joins the singers and sings along! There were SO many talented singers when we came. The crowd is cool, beer cold, food excellent. So the other night I went to Bourbon Street bar and grill and I thought wow this place is normally a good place to just hangout and have a beer. But.... There was 2 drunk men who ruined this experience for everyone. waitress had a really bad night she got assaulted by one of the two men and then I felt bad for my waitress and the dj. The dj was getting harassed by these two men. When I come out I always have the same waitress and I always see this girl named Haily Jo dj. She's a really good dj but she is still young and is still learning but the way the manager treated her that night was very unprofessional. Pretty much using her as a scape goat and saying that everything was her fault does not make the whole situation any better and saying that this was going to be her last night. The manager should have one pulled her aside where no one could hear her or too waited for her to end her shift that night. That's a real shame that it even came down to this! I will never go back to this establishment again. And also you need to work on having better security to help protect your staff and your customers. read more

We went to this bar to try it out. They say, depending on how the bathroom looks says a lot about a business -- well the bathrooms are gorgeous & clean but the food was awful. The mozzarella sticks i ordered were cold, the boneless wings (more like tenders) were awful & even the celery was not cut properly (see photo). It's quite unfortunate because i wanted to like this bar but it missed the mark entirely. I didn't have a dining experience here so I cannot comment on the food or beverages, however I can comment on the atmosphere and service provided. Once I walked in it wasn't hard to notice how close everyone was sitting very close next to eachother, all without masks, during a global pandemic. I had to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to simply come up to me and ask what I needed during a not-so-busy hour - it wasn't the servers fault though, considering she was the only person working the floor. Despite everything, the server was extremely friendly and helpful. When I walked into the restaurant all eyes were on me, which is usually common when anyone walks in somewhere, but the staring persisted despite me standing their quietly on my phone to the point where I felt extremely uncomfortable... I almost wanted to ask if I had 2 heads or something. I'm just a normal female doing my job, so I was pretty taken back by the hostile, uncomfortable atmosphere. I even looked back at the people staring at me thinking they would stop as it normally does, yet it continued - not to mention most of whom were middle aged adult males. On another note, one of the items that I picked up was pouring out of one of the sides through the bag, which I know I wouldn't like if I was picking up food for myself. That being said, this was by far the most uncomfortable encounter that I have had doing my job. I wouldn't recommend any young female to enter the restaurant unless they want to be bombarded by numerous, uncomfortable stares with a longer than usual wait. My coworkers and I went for a group lunch at about noon. We sat outside on the patio. There were maybe one or two other people inside, and no one else outside. Each of us ordered. There were a few burgers, a couple wraps, nachos, and a salad. I ordered The Adirondack Burger. The wait staff was kind enough, but we were there for an hour and forty-five minutes. We didn't get our food for at least an hour, and eventually we had to leave. We had been there long enough. The last two memebers of our party to get their food were the nachos and the SALAD. The person who ordered the salad literally got hers on the way out the door and hour and a half after she got there. She never got to eat with us. And every single one of us, including the woman who ordered the salad, paid full price. What was eaten was good, but nothing remarkable. The decent food and pleasant waitress is the only reason this is getting a second star. But I found myself very frustrated on behalf of my two coworkers who barely got to eat with us and sat there watching the rest of us wolf down our food, didn't get it until we had to leave, and then also paid full price for it. read more

Lacking in quality in quantity. I got boneless buffalo chicken wings and a large house salad. The salad portion was large, but the menu description was romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, carrots, mozzarella & croutons; the salad was, however, was iceberg lettuce, three slices of tomato, three slices of cucumber and no mozzarella as described--below average in quality. The buffalo wings were tasty, but the portion was quite skimpy (5 small tenders) for the price tag of $13.99. My companion ordered a calzone, which was about a 1/4 high (perhaps the dough was not given time to properly rise), and was sorely lacking in fillings--it was more like a large cheese panini. The kicker, and the reason I will not be going back, is that I was charged $1.00 for a takeout container to bring home my leftover wings. I just realized today that I never reviewed Bb! I love this place. I've been going here for a few years now and I've made a lot of friends along the way, including the manager and the DJs. They have karaoke Tuesday thru Sunday, the food is fresh and good, the only exception being the fried dough. It's rock hard, but they'll figure out how to make it eventually. I don't drink alcohol, but the Shirley temples are really good and they're very generous with the cherries. It's warm and inviting, and that's coming from someone with extreme social anxiety! The food was okay. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. We had a little issue because we ordered a cheeseburger but then was charged extra for cheese, so watch out for that. It was supposed to be included. Also, it was loud, so loud in fact, it was impossible to have any sort of conversation. Went here the other day with my parents after movies and dinner. Fun! We grabbed a couple of beers and then stood in the back in awe. Though the Karaoke places I'm familiar with use a private room for you and your party, this one is more like an open mic performance space. One guy emcees the event, while people from the audience volunteer to belt out their favorite tunes. We heard oldies like Patsy Cline, 80's like Journey and 90's like Janes Addiction, Alice in Chains and Mazzy Star. This crowd was rowdy and raring to go. Tattooed toughs, and plenty of cute honeys roaming the place. There was even one old guy of 75 dirty dancing with his girl near the booths when we first walked in. I love the karaoke... A lot participants and very friendly crowd even for those not so pleasant singers. I recommend this place. Drinks are hit & miss... First time ever ordering from here and let me tell you my husband and I were not disappointed! He got the Ruben melt and I got their bbq burger and we shared an order of the Irish loaded nachos. they were simply sublime and mouthwatering. My burger was cooked perfectly and his Rueben came with homemade potato chips. Their homemade dill pickles were great too.
