What a fun concept!!!!! I can't wait to try it again!! I came here during the lunch rush, but only had to wait 10-15 mins for a table!!! Each plate $3.50- cheap right??? But be careful bc this place is so fun it adds up fast!! This place is cool because everything comes to you on a little train like system! You can try whatever you want and as many things as you want!! And it's not just sushi - We tried so many different things, sushis (obvi), gyoza, dessert, salads, etc .... Our favorite & new thing we tried was the boba drinks!!!! There's even more things to try on there menu that you can access on the tablet in your seat, if ordered it will come straight to your table above the sushi train or on a robot that comes to the table!!! For the boba drinks -- I got to mango and my mom got to coconut one - both were so delicious and good!!! They were so big we didn't even finish the drinks there - but good thing it's easy to carry around! It was so fun I can't wait to bring my friends around!!

    Conveyor Belt with sushi

This is our first time going to Funshi, but not our first time to conveyor belt sushi. Funshi has both good sushi and good ramen. The service was very good. You can order ramen, boba and other items on a tablet at your table. The items are either delivered by a robot or a little electric car on top of the conveyor belt. Funshi was a great outing with family. The dining area is decorated nicely and has a huge digital sign above the seats. They have plenty of seating and it is comfortable. Parking was not an issue as it is located in a strip mall.

It's so easy to order if you don't see what's on the conveyor belt that you like you could just order it on the iPad

New revolving sushi restaurant in Avon Commons, you can pick from the revolving sushi or order whatever you'd like on the iPad you simply sign in with your phone number, and you can also accumulate points for discounts and future meals. They have many cooked and raw options available. The ramen choices are really good here also, they have different noodle options available too. They also have many assorted flavors of milk, tea, and Boba tea available with different boba and jelly options. The sushi is good everything I ordered was fresh and tasty. And the staff was very helpful with explaining everything and helping me get the hang of it. Definitely stopping here more often.

Stopped for a quick lunch, cute place:) I tried a 2pc from the conveyor belt and a roll. Both were very good. The service was friendly and you can grab a fun little key ring on your way out. The thing I didn't care for is the iPad ordering. It's stationary on the far inside of the table which isn't the most user friendly. I also hit my leg sliding in & out of the bench on the drawer installed under the table, kind of unusual placement for storage. I'll for sure be back to try more of the menu.

This was a whim of a stop for dinner. Having been to other revolving sushi restaurants in Philadelphia we knew what to expect. Very clean restaurant, medium sized with about 20 tables to hold roughly 80 patron. We sat right by the sushi chefs so we were the first to get the sushi as they came out on the revolving carousel. Our wait staff was very kind, several came by to serve us and explain how to order off the menu as well. My kid isn't huge on rice so we got him some chicken cutlet, fries, and tempura. My daughter, wife, and I got boba because why not right??! I got edamame as well, all of those items very tasty. We ended up getting 22 plates! And ate 90% of it! My kid that did like the steak (not the rice). Definitely a favorite in Avon Lake!

We were visiting from out of town and this seemed like a fun place with high rating on reviews. We were seated quickly which was nice and it was good to be able to grab food right away to eat as we were hungry. Overall the restaurant was clean and the servers were attentive. My biggest problem was the quality of food. The types of sushi rolls were not very interesting and quickly became repetitive. The unagi was rubbery and fish and the nigiri rolls had thin piece of fish on each rice ball. We decided to get sashimi platter and it took a long time. The presentation was nice but again the sashimi selection was just the humdrum tuna, yellowtail, salmon, saba, and snapper. It cost $35, which I thought was too high. In any case fun experience but will not recommend.

Sushi belt, my daughter loved it!

The reason I took off one star was because ordering on the tablet, chicken tonkotsu ramen and chicken shoyu ramen were each listed as $10.

The restaurant has a bright, airy atmosphere that feels welcoming even on a slightly cloudy day. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Their Happy Hour menu offered several tempting options, and we sampled a variety of dishes. We started with the Crispy Thai Shrimp, which delivered the perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Kitchen Social is known for its artisan dough pizzas, so we ordered the mushroom pizza, and it certainly did not disappoint. We also tried the Korean BBQ Cauliflower and the Shrimp & Grits...both flavorful and well executed. Since it was Happy Hour, we naturally enjoyed a few cocktails to accompany the meal. We sampled both the Maple Old Fashioned and the traditional Old Fashioned, then ventured a bit further with the Tequila Thyme and the Sangria. Each cocktail was well crafted and enjoyable in its own right. Best of all, because it was Happy Hour, the experience was easy on the wallet. Great food, excellent service, enjoyable drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere make Kitchen Social a place I'll definitely be returning to.

East side and west side - which don't talk to each other (1 of 2)…read more In this metro area, there is a sharp divide in that what is west of downtown and what is east of downtown don't tend to mix. It could be the distance, but that's no excuse since the freeways don't see traffic like the heavily trafficked cities in America. It's also that it's provincial! I was visiting a friend who lives in this very community on the west side and, since we sometimes visit the same restaurants, I dug up Arashi, located across the street from manicured Stepford-centric Crocker Park. Crocker Park is not a park, but a somewhat upscale mixed use retail-office-residential development. Arashi is a long-standing Japanese restaurant. I suggested it in part because I don't often eat Japanese food. Also, my friend has a few dietary restrictions and I am not a nutritionist. Eating Japanese food for lunch met with approval. As for me, I just avoid the few things I've known to have a negative effect on my digestive system as well as spicy food, the latter of which I flat out despise. They feature sensible lunch combinations. One can pick from the hibachi section of the menu or the regular section. We chose the exact same thing - hibachi chicken lunch - except that my friend had the mushrooms omitted. The chicken platter comes with rice and vegetables as well as soup. I also ordered the tea service. The latter is not free of charge like it might be in some Chinese restaurants. All of the food was very tasty. As for the soup, we ordered the miso soup and the onion soup. My onion soup was delicious. The problem, with which my friend concurred, is that the soup bowls were small. I could have had three times that amount of soup. I could have eaten more of everything! There is portion control at work. The interior of the restaurant is simple and tasteful, with only small hints of ethnic flavor. The regular restaurant is outboard by the windows, the room with the hibachi grill is inboard, and there is a bar between them. They have sushi and there are people who will order that, but I'm not one of them. The service was polite and got the job done. The pricing for the lunch specials seemed about right. My friend, who has lived in Europe for years as well as Asia for a few months, said arashi meant something but forgot to follow through. I looked it up and arashi means a storm or a tempest. From my L.A. days, I only know about 20 or 30 Japanese words, two of which have to do with climatic or geological matters - yuki and jishin. Yuki means snow and some Japanese women have this name. Jishin packs a meaner punch - it's an earthquake. So, rather than experiencing a jishin, I'd rather weather a fictitious storm (arashi) here and have a reliable low-key Japanese lunch.

Look for Jurassic Park merch!…read more I prefer this gas station to others in the Westlake area. I stop here almost every time I visited Crocker Park for gas, cold water, or snacks. I stopped in again this evening. Gas Prices: $2.99! The gas station across the street has the same prices. It's a phenomenal price especially so close to the July 4th holiday weekend! Location: The gas station is conveniently located down the street from Promenade Plaza and highways. It is spacious and easily maneuverable. There are multiple entrances, so it's easy to get in and out. This Speedway is impressively clean (inside and outside), well stocked, and organized. Service: Service is consistently friendly. The cashier tonight was very friendly with every single customer. It was very impressive especially at the end of the hot day. Fun Finds: This Speedway had Liquid IV packets at checkout (few left). Some water was also on sale 2/$4. Perfect for summer hydration. There was also a setup for Jurassic Park merch (currently playing). Stop by before or after seeing the movie at AMC. Overall, I recommend this guest station. It's always a quick, friendly, and pleasant experience. I've been stopping by for years and always experienced this consistency.
