Shrimp Shumai
Briana N.

We stopped by for a quick bite, since we were in the area shopping. And while the food was okay, it didn't really hit the spot. The food took forever to come out, and we just weren't impressed with the quality. The shrimp shumai was bland and had a weird texture. And the takoyaki was a little too mushy.

Millionaire's Fruit Tea

One of the best places to get bubble tea in the Westlake area. The tea here is always fresh and delightful. Pictured here is the Millionaire's Fruit Tea, which was refreshing, pleasantly sweet, and filled with fresh fruit. And unlike the milk teas (which I also enjoy), it didn't trigger my lactose intolerance. I've also had the sushi here. It's a bit pricey given the portions, but they serve fresh high quality fish. A no frills establishment. You order via one of the kiosks in the front and pick up your order when your number is called. Friendly staff.

Sushi bowl (small), and Oreo crunch bubble tea

This is a very aesthetic place, and has outdoor seating on nice days. I see more people come for boba than food, but I like the food as well, and have eaten the "sushi bowl" (pick rice, pick protein, pick vegetables, pick sauce), and also gyoza on another occasion. But the bubble tea is where they shine with many fun options for flavors and toppings. You do have a bit of a waiting time since it is all made fresh. Order at the kiosk and wait until they call your number. Kitschy and fun!

I've only been here a couple of times and can only speak for the bubble tea. Their bubble tea is actually delicious! I've had many bad experiences at other places in the past but here at Pacific East they have te good bubbles. I highly recommend their Taro, Thi, and Brown sugar bubble teas! The popping boba is great as well if you're in the mood for a fun fruity burst! I don't have anything negative to say about the eatery, the place is very clean and neat with zen music in the background, and the staff was very speedy and polite! I'll definitely be back for more bubble tea in the future!

Decided to get boba tea after the movies. It was pretty good. The only problem was that we had to wait about 20 minutes for it to be prepared. To be fair to the establishment we went on Saturday afternoon around 3:00 PM. It was a chilly but sunny day, with a decent amount of people out ready to have fun. They only had two people working but they had a help wanted, ALL POSITIONS, sign on the door. Plus the man who took the orders was working hard and fast to make everything as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. He was also polite and kind to my niece. All things considered, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I hope they make it through this tough time on restaurants. Thanks for your hard work. I love the decorations here, there is a little plant wall and some colorful cylinders hanging from the ceiling.

Hot Lady sushi roll

Stopped in, not knowing what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised! Service was fast, everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. They prepared my sushi roll fresh and fast. I had one of their specialty rolls: the Hot Lady. It was exactly like I expected (spicy, but not too spicy). Now, be aware the menu here is pretty much just sushi and bubble tea, but if you like either of those, then Pacific East has a huge variety, made almost instantly while you wait. If you are ever around Crocker Park and don't have the time (or money) for the more expensive sit-down sushi place then you should definitely come here instead. I will definitely be coming back here!

Stopped by to try this place while in the area based on the Yelp ratings. The wait was very long. My daughters Boba tea was excellent. She said the spring rolls were very good. She liked the bowl except for the rice. She said it was too sweet. My sushi was not good. The lobster sauce ruined the rolls. I was very disappointed. Will not return.

We ordered for take out and they were pretty fast! Restaurant is smaller but very nicely decorated. They had a special menu for Friday dinner and we were able to order 3 rolls for $25. They were very basic rolls but it was good and fresh. My husband got the bowl and it was large. No pictures cuz we were starving and scarfed it down! The egg tart was absolutely delicious and flaky!

What a nice, quaint place! The service was very nice and the food was pretty good. The bubble tea was the best part. There aren't many good bubble tea places on the Far East side of Cleveland so when we visited Westlake for the weekend, this place was awesome. I will definitely be back! The only small couple complaints I had was that the sushi had a little too much rice for my liking, and the Takoyaki balls were so small (but so good)!

Tempura shrimp and vegetables

I went to Pacific East for my birthday because I was craving for ramen. I read good reviews about this place and I was curious to try and see if the flavor was good. We ordered for appetizer the shrimp and vegetables tempura, for entrees Tonkotsu Ramen and Chicken Udon, and for dessert we ordered Crème brûlée Bubble tea. I enjoyed everything we ordered! They were really good. Their prices are not cheap. But I think is worth it for a special occasion. I would recommend this place!

Travel to Cleveland for work again! We stay at Crocker park and wanted some Asian (all the time!) We got bubble tea and Hibachi chicken, everything was good! You can order on the computer and social distance! The good thing is the service still the best, the guy who took care of us was super nice and make me want to comeback again. Thank you for your good food and service

Crème Brûlée Boba Tea & Millionaire's Fruit Tea
Richard F.

This is my niece's favorite places, we come when we can to celebrate her birthday or good grades. I definitely understand, their boba tea and bubble tea are superb. My niece got the boba tea which is always a great choice and she got the cream brûlée option and loved. I got the millionxxx bubble tea and it was definitely the best tea I've ever had. It came with green tea and a bunch of fruits in there; it was mad refreshing! We also grabbed food there as well and that was very good as well. I got the fried dumplings and they are made to order so they were super fresh. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place to grab food and great fun drinks!

Stopped in as part of the Yelp Elite event and the place was ok…read more I ordered the lemon cheesecake mochinut which was delicious! There were so many choices and all looked delicious. Also ordered the potato and cheese "corn dog" which was a fried block of cheese with frozen diced potatoes on the outside. It was hot and greasy but ok, but my stomach will not be happy later as it was H-E-A-V-Y..... And finally something called a Tiger Sugar Dirty Latte which was an iced coffee with a TON of brown sugar and boba in it....super sweet. I couldn't finish it. I can't imagine people going here in a regular basis, but as a treat to get the mochinut I couldn't finish see folks going every once in a while! Other things to note, the service was a slow, but the corn dogs are made to order and was fresh and there was 1 employee, so that's why. And the music was super loud and not "my speed" as I am a little older (in my 50's) and not really keen on rap music with questionable lyrics blaring in my ears! LOL.

It was my first time here, but I've heard a lot of hype about this place in the past. I came at…read moreabout 11:30am on a Monday morning. There were two other groups there as well. Only one staff member :( The woman working answered all our questions and gave recommendations when we asked. I got the cinnamon mochinut. It was SO good! I loved it. I got the cheese and potato "dog" which didn't have a hot dog in it at all, which I was grateful for a no hot dog option. What's better than fried cheese and potatoes ?! It was HUGE! And tasty. Not something I'd ever get again though (I'm a healthy eater and as you can imagine, this was very heavy!) But was a fun, carnival type experience. I got an iced boba coffee which was good but nothing to write home about. The service was really slow, but there was only one staff member doing everything by herself. I just felt bad for her. The rap music was blasting so loud, so it was a little odd for me haha. Overall, I wouldn't really ever comeback. But those mochinuts were pretty tasty and unique.

Our party of 6 came here after an exciting VR session at Sandbox in Crocker Park. We walked here in…read moresubzero temps but it was very doable still. Everyone loved it here! We were the only ones there and service was very attentive and friendly. In fact, our server came multiple times to see if we needed a water refill even when we didn't. I do appreciate the solicitousness! Most of us tried the hot broth rice noodles (Crossing Bridge Noodles--guo qiao mi xian) and the ingredients they provide exceed the YYTime/Dagu Rice noodle amount! There is a meat paste that is so good and 1 shrimp! Alas, my BF is allergic so we had to give his away. In their menu somewhere, it would be helpful to list out each ingredient; shrimp is not typical but a nice surprise (to some people). I ordered the dry rice noodle with beef. Spice level was good and each table comes with house made hot chili oil as well. I thought the broth flavor, richness and texture of the noodles were all better than YYTime! No complaints! The presentation of each dish was very appetizing and the portions are reasonable. The prices of dishes were surprisingly lower than YYTime and other similar places! Their drinks were higher priced (starts at $6 and doesn't come with any toppings, not even boba). I wish the server would've prompted me with sugar and ice levels. In my excitement to order, I forgot about my 50% less sugar and no ice preference! We customized with a creme brulee topping ($1.25 extra) with coconut milk drink. Delish! It was one of the only non-caffeinated options.

I had the original broth (pork & chicken) with brisket. The broth was delicious but the brisket was very fatty but not the melt in your mouth fat, the kind you can't chew, which was off-putting to me. My partner had the spicy broth with the rolled beef and he loved it. We had the spring rolls which were awesome! Very attentive service & overall perfect for a cold winter day. I may not be adventurous enough but they had tripe, quail eggs and a few other more out of the box items.
