This is easily one of my favorite places to come for vegan sushi! They have 4 really solid options for premium sushi roles that are really interesting and delicious. This time I got the Vegan Dragon and a Veggie Roll and it was really awesome. 1 of the premium rolls is not a ton of food so I got one of the normal vegan rolls as well. Service is amazing and really fast I think the only thing that makes it take time is the kitchen but they do an amazing job and everything comes out perfectly. Super lovely atmosphere and design. Me and my boyfriend went to voodoo tuna in the past, and thought we would go again tonight. We've enjoyed it before, but this time was different. The calamari appetizer was okay but could use more flavor. personally I like my calamari to be a little more crunchy, this one was wet. The sushi overall was on two ends of a spectrum. Some rolls lacked flavor while others had too much going on. For the price, I would expect something that wouldn't fall on either ends. It's also worth to note that we waited for roughly 40 minutes for our rolls to come out. Wanted to go out to eat for a nice meal but only had 1 hour. So glad we picked Voodoo Tuna. We were greeted at the door by a nice hostess who seated us right away. The waitress was amazing, answering our questions on the menu and told us they could customize our order and heat level. Second time at this sushi restaurant and the food was amazing. We were able to sit outside and the waitress was super fast. One downfall is we went for happy hour which they informed us is no longer on Saturdays and actually only Monday to Friday 4-5:30. This has not been updated on their website. Nom nom nom! I am such a fan of Voodoo Tuna. I frequent here. One item I didn't care for, was the fried rice. It could use more flavor. However, their steamed buns are pillowy perfection. I've tried the salmon and teriyaki chicken buns and the meats are cooked flawlessly. Comparing both, I prefer the salmon over the chicken buns. All the ingredients dance beautifully in the salmon steamed bun. The sushi is always fresh, beautiful to look at and delicious. It doesn't matter what rolls you choose. The quality is here. But I think this place wins for creativity. This spot is a Japanese/asian and Louisiana/Creole fusion. 100/10 read more

We started with a massive bowl of edamame and the teriyaki chicken steam buns. The edamame is perfectly salty. You must get the steam buns!! The chicken was so flavorful paired with the lightness of the steam buns was amazing. For sushi rolls we got the Lakewood, the tempura shrimp & the herbivore. The herbivore was like an elevated veggie roll with a bit more flavor from the carrot ginger sauce. The Lakewood was creamy and delicious packed with flavor from the sauce. Our favorite however was 100% the tempura shrimp I will be coming back for this roll. Our server was amazing with recommendations and overall service. I love this place. The setup, lighting, and decor is awesome! Everything looks upscale for a place that's only slightly pricey. It's such a cool environment to sit in. The staff is always great, I've never had an issue with the service here. I've brought friends here to entertain from out of town and I've only heard good feedback from them. I do believe that the prices are kind of high for the quality, compared to other sushi spots I have been to. Thats the only reason that I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5. I try to only go for happy hour which is a good deal for the food. Drink wise the Happy Hour is not really a bang for your buck, but the drinks are delicious! On this day I got the philly roll and the spicy tuna roll! I ask them to take out the cucumber in any roll they have because it always adds a weird crunch that I personally don't like. One of my absolute favorite HAPPY HOUR spots on the west side. Located in the heart of Lakewood. It's 3$ off the regular price for all rolls. Also discounted drink specials from 4-7pm. The scenery of the restaurant is cute, especially the outside area, they have a water fountains on both sides and have a umbrella to block the sun while encouraging on some delicious sushi. This isn't the best sushi I've had in town, but it definitely doesn't leave you disappointed. My server was friendly and informative. The host is always sweet and nice to me as well. This is probably my third or fourth time coming for happy hour tans always leave satisfied. Stomach and wallet wise. Now that's a win/win. read more

Voodoo Tuna. I am going to talk about positives. Love the ambiance Voodoo offers. Sleek, sexy and modern. Great happy hour, the menu lists exactly what is on or not apart of HH. Food - lots of specials, Maki rolls, appetizers and poke bowls to name a few. Drinks--lots of fufu drinks here. If you like sweet alcohol this is your jam. The exception, are the oyster shooters. If you like oysters and bloody Mary's, this is what you want, or will want. Service was pretty amazing. Out server was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. The food. We really enjoyed the Tako salad, and seaweed salads. Nice portions as well. We split the sashimi platter that was on HH special. The fish quality was average for Cleveland. I would like to note that it had a decent ration of fish. The salmon was very good, cooked octopus was tasty as well, and and the smoke salmon was enjoyable . Let me add that there was a nice dollop of seaweed salad as well. This is a fun place that I will return to. read more
