Great place, good service, entertaining chefs and delicious food with generous portions- what more could you expect?! We also ordered some sushi rolls along with our hibachi meal, would definitely come back again! It was so fun!

New Year's Day lunch to celebrate. Had to wait for a while til our table filled since we were first sat. Server was nice & they made sure to cook my food before the shrimp was cooked since I have a shellfish allergy. Chicken hibachi dinner I ordered included: Chicken, vegetables, fried rice, noodles, soup w/ mushrooms, small salad, and shrimp appetizer, sides of yummy & steak sauce. Everything was tasty & cooked well. The teriyaki was a bit too salty as a few of us noted. The entertainment was good as the cook chef went through his routine. The prices were ok too.

Good, fresh sushi. Portions are huge. The kids dinners were big enough for adult size.

I've dined here twice in the past two months - both times with my family at the hibachi tables. The hibachi chefs are entertaining and really have a lot of interaction with the table. We had a lot of fun! The hibachi itself is very good with plenty of food for leftovers. The salmon and shrimp hibachi dinners were very good. I've ordered sushi here as well and it was fresh & yummy. The presentation of the sushi was really pretty too. The only thing I didn't care for was that I ordered sushi as my meal and my family ordered hibachi; my sushi came out as the hibachi chef started cooking. The timing could be a little better as I felt a little awkward eating while everyone else was waiting. I ordered the sweet potato roll, the shrimp tempura roll, and the spicy crab roll. All were very good. If you're going there for just sushi or a non-hibachi meal, the other side of the restaurant is really pretty with the bamboo wall. The martinis from the bar were flavorful and well made. Overall, this is a good place for a larger group that wants to have a memorable and fun meal - its great for extended family of all ages.

SARAN WRAP!!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE

For anyone who eats at Samurai in strongsville.. DONT! I was there this Friday for dinner and I ordered your typical hibachi dinner... well I decided to take the rest home and I while I was eating it later that night.. I found Saran Wrap in my food..it was balled up & looked like chicken... avoid this disgusting place. I went there yesterday for a full refund and they only wanted to give me half the amount in gift card form.. Sorry but I won't be eating at your foul place anymore... needless to say I got my full refund back & still am reporting them to the health dept. Sickening.

Food was nothing special. Place was basically empty at 6 pm on a Friday. Wasabi in Independence is superior in food, ambiance and service.

Not sure, but this has been here for quite a while. I don't think they are related, but I might be wrong

There is plenty of space at the bar, at high tops in the bar area and in different dining room areas. Service is always top notch as servers are uniformly attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We have tried and enjoyed many items I'm in the menu. The playtime we went, she ordered two sides of risotto for dinner: mushroom and spinach. Very tasty and well prepared, she was happy and had plenty of leftovers. I recently enjoyed their NY Strip, cooked perfectly to medium rare with sides of asparagus and mushroom risotto. Delicious! We're been there many times but have never tried dessert because the meals are so filling. Drink menu is very good with plenty of wines and beer plus a full bar. Call ahead if at dinner times as the place fills up especially on weekends.

We started with a delicious array of appetizers and later sat down to a plated meal. First salad then preordered main course. We provided guests with 4 options in advance (steak, chicken, salmon and pasta). Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Finished up with dessert. Assortment provided by In the Weeds and they allowed us to bring in a special cake. Lastly, In the Weeds also provided expertly arranged flowers that matched our color palette perfectly. The evening truly embodied a celebration worthy of a 60th anniversary!

The booth I sat in was ran down, you shouldn't sink into the booths when you find that perfect "@ss spot" being used for over 5 years. (Pet peeve of mines, this is why I hate booths). The menu is sort of all over the place with no cohesiveness. The price points for the quality and quantity is off for me, way off. I wanted the wedge salad but was told they have no ranch... "how don't you have ranch" I ordered the chicken piccata, it was nothing to write home about. Strike two when the waiter asked did I "need any salt and pepper, hot sauce". (Eyebrow raise, hot sauce!?!?) They warmed the frozen chicken breast up nice. The sauce was good but a burnt flavor lingered. Not sure if it was the sauce or the burnt vegetables. The mashed potatoes were congealed and flavorless. After I found a dime sized black flat ball of something in the mashed potatoes I had enough. I looked at all the beautiful dishes on yelp before I came here. ***WARNING*** if you don't see good pics and reviews within 10 months or so old, DONT DO IT! I can imagine the locals are helping to keep this place alive...

The facility is far bigger than I thought it would be. They have a central restaurant with multiple party centers on either side. It's a really BIG facility. New, modern, and quite attractive. With plenty of convenient parking. The wall of the restaurant that faces Cleveland Hopkins Airport is all glass. It affords you quite an impressive view of the airport and the planes landing. The staff we met was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Mina, did an excellent job all night. If there was a weak point, it would be the food. It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". It arrived badly overcooked, crunchy not soft, and even boardering on burnt. The charcuterie board was OK, but uninspired. I ordered the "Lemon Chicken" which was a full half chicken in a reasonably good sauce. But the meat was dry and it came only with brussel sprouts (yuk!). My wife had the "Walleye" which she simply said was "okay"... oh well. Our guests weren't any more impressed than we were. I will say our coffee and "Pot de Creme" were very good... thank goodness. All in all, our overall experience was "meh"... just "meh". Sorry - really probably should be 3.5

We dropped in for Happy Hour, looking for cocktails and a few bites, and were immediately struck by the well-appointed space. The runway views at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport added an unexpected layer of entertainment--watching planes take off and land while toasting 14 years of marital bliss felt like the perfect backdrop. We started strong with a French 75 and an Old Fashioned--both expertly crafted, but that Old Fashioned? Smooth, balanced, and memorable enough to set the tone for the entire evening. Wednesday happens to be Wing Day ($2 whole wings), and we took full advantage. We sampled Buffalo, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, Lemon Pepper Dry Rub, and the undeniable star of the show: Garlic Parmesan. Each had its own personality, but that Garlic Parmesan was simply elite. Service was impeccable--Emily was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our experience flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails. Speaking of which, round two brought a Cosmo alongside a repeat of that Old Fashioned...because when you find the right note, you stay in that key. For food, we shared the French Dip Baguette--shaved prime rib, provolone, horseradish aioli, and au jus done right--and paired it with the Mega Crunch Fries, elevated with sea salt, rosemary, and a light truffle oil drizzle. Simple menu items, executed with intention. We closed the evening the same way we began--together, with one final round of Old Fashioneds. A Happy Hour well spent. A celebration well honored. A 14-year journey still taking off.
