Great concept. Horrible operation. Booked a birthday party and they took forever to get set up. Even reserved a "VIP" section and they said the owner screws that up all the time and someone else was there for 45 minutes. Then they tried to cancel the entire party. 0/10 recommend. We were supposed to play from 3-6. They played from 4-6. Horrible operation. The owner should know management is blaming them for everything that goes wrong...which may or may not be right. clusterf**k is a one word description of this place. OMG - it got worse. We called the owner to advise what happened. He was nice about it and offered a makeup party. We scheduled it for 1/22/22. After not hearing about it, I texted him today to make sure it was good to go. He said no, they are booked and he can do it another day. I reminded him he agreed to this and sent him the text. He said he'll do it for 50% on that day, but not complimentary. When I sent him the text of him agreeing to this for this awful party in November, he called me and said, "You can take half off or leave it." and then called me "heartless" for wanting him to host the party he offered. My group and I had an amazing time at Battleground! We were there celebrating 2 birthdays and they exceeded our expectations. The laser tag lasted for about 2 1/2 hours and They took us into a series of different rooms (indoor and outdoor) and have us games to play which made the whole experience very interesting and fun. At the end we had some pizza and took group pictures. It was a great experience we will definitely be back. read more

I planned to celebrate my son's bday there. I got cake, snacks, drinks and invited a few friends and their families. I called the day before, got an email confirming the reservation. When I get there wiith all the parents and their kids, I leaned that they had cancelled the reservation. They did try to call and sent an email AN HOUR BEFORE. No organization, no respect, no consideration. I have no words to describe how my son and their friends were sad and disappointed. Their excuse? The person who made the reservation did it wrong and it was not reserved! So how come I've got an email? Why did they bother calling and sending and email cancelling It? How come it was not mentioned the few times that I've called changing the # of people who would be joining the party? I'm extremely disappointed and do not recommend it to anyone. read more

TLDR: Overall, decent value for play. Expect some frustration dealing with staff. Gaming experience: 4 stars. Overall our party was satisfied with game play and game time. Pretty nice outdoor and indoor facilities for play, though mostly flat. Plenty of obstacles, partitions, and objects to hide behind even in large groups. Indoor areas also have towers, which give a richer experience for vantage points. Equipment consists of a laser receptor band around your head and small laser rifles, which also have a box receptor. In our case, some rifles were calibrated better than others, and some even wonky. We know this because we switched rifles between players and the same rifle kept getting the highest hit points even with our worse player. Another rifle kept resetting itself throughout the play. Some also had a stronger BO smell than others. Staff: 1-2 stars. Lazy, disorganized, apathetic staff. Our host was nice and had a good personality. However, all the employees here mumble, including our host. It's like they only hire socially awkward people who only want to exert the minimum amount of effort. We walked in and didn't even get a hello/hi/any greeting. It was then followed by monotone mumbling of their rehearsed script. If it everyone else in the group wasn't also having trouble understanding, I would've thought it was because my hearing suddenly aged 60 years! After hours of play, we were thirsty and depleted of energy. We also drove 2 hours here and were looking to another 2-hour drive back, so we were looking forward to that slice of pizza post game. Turned out there was no pizza because a member of staff hadn't bothered to place the order. But apparently there was nothing that could be done. No minor discount, no bottled water/drink, nothing to make up for it because, according to an employee, the owner didn't like that. Apparently, there was nothing to be done for something that was supposed to be included. Not even an apology, which doesn't cost anything but can be a genuine gesture of goodwill and sincerity. read more

Probably the coolest experience I've had for laser tag. This location is a split between paintball and laser tag sessions. The concept is a multi terrain course where you are able to have battles with different scenarios and courses to interact with. There are 3 however due to the weather the outside course was not in use. Dress in clothes you're okay to get extremely dirty. For laser tag you will play on the same fields as paintball wars. The walls, floors, and obstacles are covered in the spent paintballs guts. Be prepared to sweat. You are having so much fun you don't realize the how much running you are doing avoiding being shot and eliminated from the match. In between matches the host will give breaks so you can drink and have snacks. This is truly a fun family or unique date night for any person who doesn't mind weapons and getting dirty this is the place for you. This place is dirty, the employees we encountered were racist and I wouldn't say this place protects its players, After a dispute with another party, the employees did nothing when an individual in my group was shot in the face with paintball gun close up. This resulted in an altercation with the other party and all the employees did nothing. I'll start out by saying that we came here for the Laser tag, and not Paintball, although they do share the same facility. When we arrived it was a bit confusing as to where the entrance was. It is actually located near the picnic tables. Upon entering, it seemed a bit chaotic... There were no clear lines to sign up, and the laser tag and paintball were all merged together. After getting to the front of the line, we had to fill out release forms..this was a bit frustrating, as I would have filled them out wiring on line if I had known. After we checked in, things went much smoother. They took our group out to several different fields and had us try numerous types of games. The staff is very friendly, and even took photos of us and shared them on Facebook for free! The place has five different zones, all outdoors, some inside warehouses but no a/c so prepare to sweat and get dirty. It was still fun and we were all drenched! They have different missions at each zone so it made it interesting. The 'dirty' is from the paintball shots and plain old dirt since they use all the zones for paintball shooting and laser tag. We weren't sure how things were going to pan out because of the weather, but no worries - the combat fields used were indoor in large barn-like buildings filled with hay. We used the Groupon deal for laser tag for four people (you get two hours of laser tag plus a slice of pizza for every person. Keep in mind, if you use that Group, you still need to pay for the equipment rental). We all had a blast. The games are very interactive. You will be running around, ducking, and hiding behind objects. You also play a variety of different missions, so you're doing something a little different each time. It's also fun because you are playing with other people, so you may not necessarily be playing on the same team as everyone in your group (which is great if you're competitive!) The employees were very nice about checking us in. We were also instructed very well on how to play, the objectives, etc. Disclaimer: You will get dirty. No doubt about it. Upon arriving was told it's going to be an additional $12.95 fee per person for gun rental, that I was not aware of. Ok fine, nothing I can do since I already paid. You have to share the areas with all the people paintballing. it's an awkward setup. It's completely lit up so you can see everyone moving around, unlike traditional laser tag games that are played in the dark. The zones are full of dirt paint and mosquitos which they don't tell you about, you assume you're playing indoors in an air conditioned building, not the case. We all got filthy and covered in dirt and paint. The entire area reeks like you're playing on top of the city dump. I mean saying it smelled foul. They need to be more organized. We started late waiting for other party that never arrived. We were told to take a break and we were supposed to have each a slice of pizza and no pizza at all. Groupon also included a photo and the guy said there was nobody available to take the photo. Really??? We made a reservation over the Christmas holiday break for to play laser tag at Battleground Orlando with family visiting from out of town. It was an awesome experience! This is NOT the laser tag experience you grew up with and that you'll remember from the 1980s and 1990s. They have a huge indoor/outdoor facility and a lifelike tactical arsenal. Gone are the days where you are playing laser tag in a confined indoor area in the dark. This is more like an outdoor paintball experience with laser tag weapons. I went to Battleground Orlando Advanced Laser Tag with 6 other adults. We were originally paired with 2 other adults. Then after one game, we were paired with about 25 kids who were at a birthday party. There were plenty of employees who could have supervised an adult game, but instead they chose to stand around inside the office. I would have no problem having to play with children at a normal laser tag course, but this expensive high tech laser tag is meant for adults. The kids didn't understand the rules of the game, and shot at everyone no matter which team they were on, which essentially ruined some of the games. Before leaving, I chose to fill up my water bottle at the water fountain. The water fountain wouldn't work, so I asked some of the employees how I could get it working. Their responses were unacceptable. They started making hand job jokes about how I had to leave my hand there and rub it longer. Then when the water fountain finally started working, they made orgasm sounds. It was crude, immature, and made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Recently went here with my family while on vacation. We purchased a 2 hour package through Groupon. When we arrived we had to pay another $70 for rental equipment, something that was not stated on the Groupon. So after getting over the frustration of the added cost we managed to have a pretty good time. We have like a guide that took us around to the different fields and such. They did like capture the flag and cops and robbers. The fields were pretty unique also. Be prepared to get dirty though, as you are playing in and on paintball arenas. Overall, this place needs to be a little more specific with their groupons and pricing and a little organization would go a long way. I came here with four others yesterday. We're on vacation at Disney world and my brother wanted to play laser tag. He did some looking around on the interwebs and came across this place. The drive from our resort took about 40 minutes. At first everyone was taken aback by the location of this place. But fear not, it is not as bad as the neighborhood looks! We paid $20 each for an hours worth of play. There were about 11 players total during the time we were there. We started off doing two team death match games in an old warehouse on the property. Then moved outside and across the street to another set of game play layouts because everyone was getting hot in the warehouse. The outside area was a lot better in my opinion. It's about twice the size as the warehouse. We started out playing free for all. After that, one family, which made up almost half of the total players, left. The rest of us stuck around to play one last game of domination. Overall, this is place is worth it. Yes, it is a bit of a drive from Disney world. But it is a great value. $20 for one hour of play or $30 for two hours. Almost forgot! One of the workers goes around during the matches and takes pictures of the players. They upload the pictures to their Facebook page so you can go and retrieve them later. WIN! read more

We decided paint balling over laser tag only because you have to reserve a spot for laser tag and paint balling was more of a walk-in type of thing. The guys that work there were extremely helpful in giving us the info on prices. Although we did have fun, there were some things that weren't all that fun. First, the place smells terrible. I'm not really a person that usually cares, but when you have to play and wait outside for a long time it kind of gets to you. Idk if there's anything they can do about it, but it's just a fair warning. In between paintball games, the host gives you a five minute break. However, when we were there we had no idea about a break and were often confused as to what we had to do until we actually figured it out. The host didn't really give us clear instructions on what to do. The five minute break also turned into a 10-15 minute break. It would be helpful if the staff communicated with the new comers better. Tip: Bring clothes and SHOES that you wouldn't mind getting dirty in. Also, if you're not wearing long sleeves or long pants they rent out jumpsuits for 4 dollars. read more

I let one of the staff know I was there to check in for my noon reservation. He said "let me get this party checked in and I'll be right with you." Our group of four was merged with a larger group. We fought together and separate. They even gave us two well needed water breaks. Never going back. I love paintball and went for my birthday last week and it was a disaster. Had never been here before and wanted to try out a new paintball place. To start, super-expensive which made me angrier as the quality of the experience got worse. They didn't seem to have many people to 'host' so they shoved you into big groups of 20 to 30 people as they saw fit. Took forever for them to 'set-up' a game and then you were forced to take mandatory 'breaks'. When we clocked it, after a couple of hours of the experience sucking, it took almost 2 hours to play three 5-minute games. I couldn't believe it. They they had a genius idea of putting all three groups together into a 'mass' 60+ game which took even LONGER to set up and was just awful. You can't have any fun playing in a group of 60. I kept getting shot in the back by 'friendly fire'. To be fair, when I asked, they let us out of the mass game. On the downside, the host seemed a little resentful about it. Had fun for about an hour until some serious "members" showed up with automatic paintball guns against our rental single-shots. Not fun. Getting shot once by those guns means getting shot by 3-4 paintballs in the same spot. That was one game, then our host ignored us, sat us out of a TWO MATCHES to let the "members" play. Then ANOTHER break, at that point no one wanted to keep playing. Go to another paintball joint unless you have a group of 20 people with you. read more

This is by far one of the best places to go to play laser tag. The guys who run the games are very cool and explain things very well. Also the different fields that you can play on are really well done and have a lot of great potential for a fantastic time. Really awesome laser tag spot.... it's our local "go to" for laser tag! The boys and I love the indoor/ outdoor courses. It does take about 2 hours and by that time I'm usually drained, we don't need any more than 2 hours. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes as the courses are dirt courses. Go have fun! read more
