We love our little puppy Niko, who we adopted from Furry Canines Rescue. Rose has been there to answer any questions we have. She was great to work with, anticipated any problem we have, and is a phone call away anytime we have concerns. She is fantastic! She made the adoption process so smooth and easy. We loved working with Rose and love our little pupper.

I have had a very positive experience with this rescue. I adopted my dog at 8 weeks old in November and Rose had made the entire process incredibly easy. Rose is very nice, answers all my questions and is very easy to contact whenever I need something. I would recommend this rescue to anyone who is looking to adopt. I absolutely adore my puppy and couldn't imagine life without her now.

I had been looking to adopt a dog for awhile and fell in love with one on petfinder.com From there I was linked to Rose and Furry Canines Rescue. She reached out to me right away and explained what she does and answered all of my questions in detail. The whole process was very quick and easy and Rose made me feel comfortable from start to finish. I brought Lilly home and we are doing great! Let Rose help you find your furrever friend! :)

We adopted our baby Quinn from Rose and couldn't be happier! The adoption process was easy and Rose was very flexible when it came time to meet up for shots. Quinn got spayed yesterday at the clinic in garden grove and the surgery seemed to go well! When it is time to adopt another pup we will be contacting Rose again.

My husband and I were first time pet owners and were looking to adopt a dog about 6 months ago. I searched online and found the cutest dog and messaged Rose. She was very forthcoming about prior health conditions and made sure to ask about our lifestyle and living arrangements. Eventually she found us a dog that was a better fit for us, we met him and fell in love with each other on the spot!! Shadow was a little black maltipoo that was found on the streets with his hair so matted they had to pretty much cut it all off. When we saw him for the first time he was so tiny and skinny! Anyway, Rose helped us with the paperwork, interviewed us more about what his living conditions would be, helped explain to us the fundamentals of dog ownership and how to provide a loving home for him. She made sure he got all his shots before sending him home with us, and even called us a month later to check in and see how he was doing. The adoption process was so easy and seamless! Shadow is now so much a part of our family I can't remember what it was like before we had him! If you are considering adopting a dog, you won't go wrong with Furry Canines :)

I found Orange County Rescue Mission and I love the support they provide for the community so I decided I wanted to give my donations to them. Orange County Rescue Mission is open Friday to Wednesday from 8am-5pm, Closed Thursdays. They have a convenient area for you to drive up, and their volunteers are super nice and will be more than happy to help you lift and unload your donations. Donation receipts available upon request.

I've previously had my donations picked up, or gone to donation bins, or dropped a few things off at Goodwill. Orange County Rescue Mission has a drive thru drop-off for your donations. I had 5 boxes, so a lovely gentleman brought a bin on wheels over and helped me put my boxes inside. He asked if I would need a receipt for my taxes but I politely declined. I do believe the items I donated had good value but I don't have much experience with taxes and previous receipts I've gotten usually end up missing by tax season. Prior to donating my things, I was able to go on their website and see exactly what items they accept. This helped a LOT because there were actually a lot of items I wouldn't have even considered donating like unused toiletries. I would probably try to give them to a family member or a friend of perhaps end up just tossing it away. I'm really glad they provide a list of acceptable items for donating!! I hope other people who wish to donate items really do READ lists such as this one, so they are aware of what can be donated. I just remembered people from my past who would try to donate opened foods, & insisted they were still good because they were non-perishables. Some people just don't know you can't donate ANYTHING. I don't understand people who donate things that they wouldn't use, if the same or similar item were donated to them (in the same manner). Some behaviors are perplexing. Anyway!! I LOVE this place and I'm currently working on filling up another 3 boxes. I'll have to go buy some more boxes so I can start sorting through my storage unit as well!! I do have a few questions on some items and what condition they must be in to be accepted for donation. I'm pretty sure they had a number on the same page that I could call and ask, which I will be doing, just haven't gotten around to it yet! I'm really happy I found this place & recommend others to donate items & volunteer here if they have the time! (:

The website says they accept donations until 3 pm so I arrived around 2:50 pm and a woman told me they stopped taking donations at 2 pm and to return on Tuesday when it was more convenient for them. I told her I only had two bags of clothes and she made an annoyed face and begrudgingly let me drop off the bags while schooling me about how the cutoff is at 2 pm. Um, maybe update your website?! I needed to get those clothes out of my house so I donated the bags, in any other situation I would have taken my clothes, some of which were new with tags, elsewhere. From reading the reviews, I can only conclude that there is a pattern of disrespect and unprofessional behavior. The only other time I've been here they were having a jewelry sale and I witnessed one woman yelling at another volunteer in such a demeaning/condescending manner that I almost left, then she snatched the paper bag with my merchandise from me since she hadn't cooled off from belittling her colleague. Perhaps these ladies should spend their free time taking courses on etiquette and good manners instead of doing the community a disservice with their presence at this establishment. Next time, I'll just drive to Costa Mesa to donate to Laura's House, the staff there are friendly and the clothes are actually cuter and more like what I wear anyway.

But this school really helps kids from infants to their adulthood with learning disabilities. The preschool, in particular, is for everyone. What is really helpful, they use the same helpful techniques for children with learning disabilities in their curriculum. It is like equipping the teachers with super learning powers. It is really to accelerate the learning process. I love how diverse the students who attend this school and teacher ratio is amazing. You have the option of sending your child in for 2xs or 3xs or 4xs or the full the week. The cost to send your child there is extremely reasonable. I was so surprised! Their school schedule is like Centralia's school schedule and has summer school as an option. The only reason why my son has not enrolled yet is my son is receiving certain services from our insurance that is practically the whole day. Once those services go away, we certainly enroll him. I would just schedule a tour and once you go on it, you will be thrilled and ensured that you want your child to attend their preschool program. Oh yeah, their OT class gym is amazing. You should ask for it when you go on the tour to check it out.
