I experienced blatant racism on this trip, and it left me shocked and deeply hurt. I've joined Fury many times over the years and had good experiences--until now. Before boarding, I was on an important phone call. The safety briefing began while I was still quietly finishing the call. I ended it quickly and remained silent and respectful for the rest of the instructions. Yet an employee named Laura suddenly singled me out, claimed I had "compromised" the safety session, and banned me from snorkeling in front of everyone. I was confused and humiliated. If she thought the call was disruptive, why didn't she just speak to me directly? What's worse, several non-Asian guests were talking too--but only I, an Asian person, was punished. I truly believe I was targeted because of my race. That moment on the boat, I felt isolated, scared, and powerless. What should've been a peaceful trip became a deeply distressing experience that I will not forget. The captain later allowed me to snorkel after hearing my explanation, but the damage was already done. Fury needs to take responsibility and ensure this kind of discriminatory behavior is never tolerated again. read more

We had a blast on a 3 hour snorkeling cruise with Fury Adventures! Captain Anna and her crew took care of us to make sure we were safe and had everything we needed! They even provide free reef-safe sunscreen on board (a little goes a long way!). They were there to answer any questions, help with gear, and were always watching to ensure safety in the water. The reef was full of colorful fish and coral! Excellent service, fun and friendly staff! My boyfriend was able to volunteer to hoist the main sail for the trip back! Wow - this was a last second idea while visiting Fort Taylor in Key West. Looking out from the top of the fort, we saw Fury's chute hauling people for parasailing above the beautiful, blue-green waters and wanted to do it ourselves. We quickly got an agent on the phone and they booked us for a trip that day a few hours later easy-peasy. Make sure to get your directions right from the website, because navigation took us about 1/2 mile walk away. Check their website, as you can bring your bags and your own water, and we did neither, quite foolishly because we didn't have time to check their website. Also, make sure to have some cash on hand if you're going to buy their photos/video package which runs about 40 bucks and they'll upload to your phone immediately. Lastly, have some cash on hand to tip these people because they really make the trip a ton of fun, they're really cool and this is a service industry like a restaurant, so they do rely on gratuities to make a living. But, we had such a great experience because these crews obviously know what they're doing because each kind of adventure they were hosting ran like clockwork. The parasailing was a ton of fun, and it only took about 5 minutes to get out into the open water and get they got the first customers up in the air in minutes. I was very impressed. The captain will ask you how wet you want to get as well from dipping your toes in the water or giving you a big splash before going up into the sky. It is quite an amazing sensation to feel like you could fall but everything was so secure that my nerves calmed quite fast so we could just enjoy the views that the gulls enjoy every day. I highly recommend this peaceful and calming experience, even if you're afraid of heights like me. I loved it, and I am very impressed with this crew. What a day! Well organized with two meals ( breakfast and lunch) as well as after activity drinks ( beer, wine, champagne). Crew was very friendly, personable and safety conscious . We were divided into various groups that rotated for everything except snorkeling. They do have sunscreen in case you forget, but wear a long sleeved rash guard to minimize your sun exposure. Our first activity was parasailing, and my only negative is it wasn't long enough (10 min?). Then we did the jet skis where our group drove in a large circle. Next on our itinerary was the banana boat, where we were pulled by one of the guys who had a great time trying to throw us off--and he got me! Great to be in the warm gulf. Then off to the obstacle course which is a bunch of inflatables on the water, and not easy. Everyone was back on board to eat lunch ( assorted sandwiches, ? Wings...it's been two weeks and I honestly forgot, but there was a range of options and we didn't go hungry!) We were then taken to some coral reefs where we got to snorkel for ? 45 minutes or so. They were very good with instructions again. We got to see some amazing fish and when it was time to get back on the boat, we could have beer, wine, or champagne. Overall: excellent! TIP: +if you get on their boat tour and get motion sick bring some medicine for motion sickness. The experience itself should have been really fun but unfortunately the some of the crew was super rude with me because I got motion sick. There was at least 4 other people sick on the boat because the waters were super choppy. NOT anyones fault, but just prepare for it if you do the tour. I did it last minute and our tour guide walked us from our bus to the boat tour. The reef itself is the 3rd largest in the world and I got to see some amazing fish and water out there. They offer unlimited alcohol after the snorkel experience on the way back. I honestly wished that I prepared a little better for the experience. My only suggestion is that some of crew needed learn some people skills, and honestly if you run a business on a boat have some motion sickness medicine available for purchase, I would have spent 20$ for one pill to enjoy my time. That is 1/3 price I spent on my ticket. It would only help people who need a little help on extra choppy ocean days and make your business more money. If it wasn't for the rude crew members, it would have been 4/5 star experience. read more

Fury operates a lot of activities in Key West. We recently went on a Glass Bottom Boat tour with sunset options. We booked it online. They kept sending reminders and information about the tour. The day we were supposed to go on the tour, there was a wind advisory in Atlantic. So they couldn't take us to their usual reef route. But they communicated to us the previous night itself with an option to cancel. We decided to take the tour to the Gulf of Mexico instead. Check in was easy. But to find the spot from google maps is not an easy task. They handed over tickets, gave us some brief about what they planned for us and then boarded their glass bottom boat. Started off slow with some nice views of Key West and neighboring islands. The captain was keep on explaining about the importance of each point and also talked about the history. They took almost 7-8 miles to the Gulf of Mexico where we can see the glimpses of reef. Our guide was so knowledgeable that she explained each and everything. Talked about reefs, corals, fishes, other species and the whole ecosystem in place there. Very informative especially for the kids onboard. On our way back they stopped in between for a typical high sunset in Key West, which was very beautiful. They served the champagne for the guest to toast to it as a custom there at Key West. It was a great 100 minutes for cruise. Great experience and kids loved it! read more

We just finished the 10:30 jet ski tour with Dan and Ethan!! It was my husband, I and our two daughters 17 and 14 3/4. Dan took the time to teach my almost 15 year old how to run the jet ski for the second half of the tour and she loved every second of it. Flying and following him the whole way. We highly recommend this 90 minute tour. The guides were amazing and we will do it again. We have also done the commotion on the ocean which is a fun evening sunset trip and my daughters joined us on that too. Everything Fury does is great and we will constantly use them every time we come to Key West. But Dan today made my daughter's trip by showing her how to drive the jet ski and she wants to go again! read more

We booked the Island Adventure Eco Tour, which is 4.5 hours. We left the dock exactly on time (noon), after checking in with the Fury booth and being given a ticket to hand to the crew before getting on the boat. The front of the boat is in the sun and there is plenty of seating under the canopy in the shade. The space is tight, as they have 2 stacks of kayaks in the middle. The first stop was at Archer Key, for snorkeling. Gear and instructions are provided (adult and kid sizes), as well as noodles to put under the vest to help with floatation. There was not much to see - sponge and some fish and a few jelly fish and it was dark. Most snorkelers came in after 30 minutes, a handful were out there for 45 minutes. Pretty much everyone commented how difficult it was on the return due to the strong current. We then headed to the spot where kayaking was available. First, they put out a big bowl of fried chicken (a little dry) and half sandwiches - turkey and ham. There was a fish dip, hummus, crackers and fruit available. Also beer, wine, water and soda was part of the cost of the tour. Because of the tight space it was challenging to access the lunch with everyone reaching over others. There are 10-12 kayaks, both requiring 2 people. Our tour was led by Christie, she is excellent! There were 2 groups. The first was out for approximately 40-45 minutes and then the second group went out. In order to access the kayak, you have to get in the water. It is a sandy bottom with 2+ feet of water. From there, one person hops in the back of the kayak, then the second in the front. Christie helps each person, and she did not always have an easy job. Of course, everyone on the boat is watching as each person struggles to get into the kayak. The tour takes everyone around the mangroves and was nice. Once the second group returned, everyone just hung out on the boat for the rest of the tour. We were scheduled to return at 4:30, however, due to the boat races and Poker Run boats, a boat was in our dock spot so it was around 5PM before we were able to dock. It was a nice day and we had nothing scheduled after that so the additional time was not a problem. The captain made an announcement that 20% gratuity is appreciated, so be sure to have cash available. read more

We were able to make reservations for the 5:30 pm jet ski tour on the day-of from a friendly associate. I honestly had really low expectations since tours are usually really slow and kind of lame, but we were actually able to go max speed for a while on the jet skis (40 mph). I wish it was a bit faster since I've gone 60+ mph before, but it was adequate enough. The views were fantastic and getting off at the sand dunes (the water was very warm), was super cool. The guides during the tour seemed nice and outgoing. However, I have to knock down a star due to the rudeness of the staff during check-in and just overhearing them speak around the check-in area. Some of the staff were kind of talking shit about some customers behind their backs thinking no one could hear. I mean I get it, tourists can be annoying and all day everyday is tourists, but there's no need for that rudeness. We got checked-in by someone who was unfriendly, making me have extremely low expectations going into the tour. read more

We went on the Double Dip Snorkel Trip, and it was an outstanding tour! I had seen some mixed reviews of other sailing tours, but this one was across the board wonderful.. and I see why! The captain & crew member were incredibly helpful & kind throughout the entire charter. Also transparent about expectations since we were heading out only three days after Hurricane Idalia came by; so the water was a bit cloudy. However, the reefs were booming with fish!! I will say when I first heard of two stops, I thought man it's not going to be enough time, but I was wrong! I was able to see everything in perfect amounts of time. Water and soft drinks were also provided on the end of the tour which was the cherry on top! Disappointed and Heartbroken: A Company That Abandons Its Customers in Crisis This experience was truly heartbreaking. My two sons, daughter-in-law, and I planned a special trip to the Keys to celebrate our birthdays. However, due to the fires at the entrance of the Keys--a natural disaster--the roads were completely shut down. After enduring over seven hours in traffic and being rerouted by law enforcement, we were finally told there was no way to enter the island. I immediately called to cancel--not just our one-day activity, but our entire 5-day vacation. While the first reschedule call was handled smoothly, I was shocked when I was told that the $600 for our adventure could not be refunded. The representative even said, "I know the fires aren't your fault, but they aren't mine either, and I can't refund your adventure." I've been here once before and had a wonderful experience. It was truly the highlight of our trip, which makes this even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this response showed me that when it really matters--during an unforeseen crisis--this company chooses policy over people. This wasn't a last-minute cancellation for personal reasons. We literally could not access the island. This was out of everyone's control, and yet, no empathy, flexibility, or care was offered. I hope this review reaches the leadership and inspires a change in how such situations are handled. A company that cannot stand by its customers during a natural disaster cannot be trusted to care for them at all. I won't return, and I can no longer recommend this experience to others. We RSVP'd on the corner near the Southernmost Beach. Price is approx $170 per jet ski but you can get a discount for renting two. Our tour guide was Eric, or as I referred to him as: the ChopMaster 3000- because he cuts through the wake of the Atlantic Ocean like the sharp knife of an executive chef! He did his best to make sure we had fun: he drove fast, stopped at inlets, let us take a quick swim, pointed out the surroundings, and made lots of dad jokes. Things to know: - Sunblock was available upon request. - There's a box to store your stuff. - If you're born after 1988 you'll have to take a test beforehand -- and we used AI to pass it. - Tour guides operate like bar tenders-- gratuity is expected so if you're on a budget just factor that in up front. - you get a discount for signing up for the earliest time slot. - your group could be 2-10 people and if you have a slow person, you'll need to take frequent stops to let them catch up. read more

Not transparent "rules". Captain kicked off 8 sober individuals on a bachelorette party. Captain Ryan made a huge scene and made my friend cry at the end of day, Memorial Day weekend in the keys. Open container city and was kicked off for having alcoholic beverages in hand, unopened, before boarding the boat. The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer's mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. It's almost an unsaid ritual to try a water sport when you are in the Keys and what better place to try it out if not for Fury? We checked in Fury on different days when we were visiting Key West. The first day was the parasailing we did with Christian and Grace as our guides. It was our first time and we were both excited and at the same time nervous about the ride. Grace was a calming factor assuring it was going to be fun but Christian was quite the opposite, trying to intimidate us at all times (in a good sense and humor). The kind of funky things he would do can be very scary for beginners, but nevertheless your safety is never compromised at all. The aerial view you get while parasailing is surreal. Now on to the second day, we took the jet skis and were accompanied by two amazing guides - Matt and Caleb. Luckily on both the days, we took the earliest slot at 8:30 AM and that came handy when there were no other riders alongside. Since it was our first time, they made clear instructions on how to ride and what to expect. The ride was kind of bumpy with bit of high tides but they were very accommodative by taking frequent stops and modifying the usual paths based on our preferences. They did what they didn't have to do and we had our best moments with our fist time jet skiing. If you are looking for water sport adventures in the Keys, look no further as they have the best customer service. Tip- Tip these guides generously if you get to ride with them. read more

Highly recommend the jet ski tour! We had James as our tour guide and he was fantastic! We booked 90 minutes at 10:30 AM and that was the perfect time to avoid too many others out and about and it allowed us to avoid the hottest of the sun. Highly recommend buying upf shirts. Riding in the ocean is more challenging than on the lake - something to be mindful of. Jet skis have zero right away in the keys and boats will cut you off. There are also sizable waves you have to cut through. The guide was great but you had to pay attention. It was about the ride not a slow sight seeing tour. read more

The water was beautiful, but the tour itself was disappointing. The boat was overcrowded, and we were shoved in the back near the engine so it made it impossible to hear instructions since the crew didn't use the overhead speakers. The snorkel gear was also poor quality--our masks kept fogging up and leaking. On top of that, the crew kept reminding everyone to tip them, even though the experience felt subpar because of the overcrowding and not being able to hear instruction. I'd recommend they use the overhead speaker for instructions and book fewer people per trip so guests can actually enjoy it. The beer was flowing after the snorkeling but the staff didn't seem super enthused with serving us which also made it awkward when they kept asking for a tip. All-in-all, we would not book with this company again. read more
