It was nice to try something new! Employees were friendly and there was a lot to choose from. Food was good and tasty!

My boss said he was a bit of a fan of this place and talked me into going one day. I usually find places like this to be either hit or miss, but overall, this one was the pretty good. We definitely got our food quickly, the service was great, and everything was tasty. We rolled in on a Thursday afternoon around 1pm. The place itself has plenty of comfortable seating both inside and outside. If I were to explain Fusabowl to someone who has never been, I'd call it an Asian-inspired spin on Chipotle, with build-your-own bowls both poke and rice based and build-your-own sushi rolls. The menu makes the process very easy because they give you step-by-step instructions for each order. I decided on a hibachi bowl with brown rice, steak, mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, and sriracha sauce. My boss got a hibachi bowl too with white rice, grilled salmon, broccoli, carrots, and General Tso's sauce. We also got an order of crab rangoon and a tamagoyaki roll. Everything came out really quickly and was all pretty good. We both enjoyed our bowls and thought the rangoon was very crispy. The roll was good but a little too sweet for my taste. Still, overall, this was a really good experience. Great spot for a quick lunch and a break from all the burger spots in the area. I could see going back here for lunch again. Maybe I'll try one of their poke bowls next time.

Very attentive and kind staff. Quick edit time for good. Delicious tasting- fresh products. Got a sushi roll and a tofu bowl to test them both out. Very tasty! Boba milk teas coming soon!!! Only place anywhere near us with boba!!

This place is surprisingly good. It's also the only place in Anderson I can reliably get boba so that's a plus. Their sushi is pretty great, and their bowls taste fresh. The staff remembered me by my second visit, which was impressive. I'm happy they're so close because they've become my Goto dinner option when i don't want to cook. It's takeout that i don't feel gross after eating because of the quality of their ingredients and lack of grease. Highly recommend them!

This was the second time I've gotten food at this location and I truly look forward to my next visit already - I already know I am about to become a regular! My first time ordering from here was on Doordash and choosing my meal online and pick up were very easy. When dining in this time, there were a lot of Doordash orders and the employees looked slammed with work but still got to us quickly. Ordering is similar to the style of Fusian or Chipotle where you custom make a bowl from a selection of ingredients. Once you are done creating your meal, it takes about 15 minutes to cook the fresh food in the back. On the overhead menu, gluten free and vegan options were clearly labeled. On the condiment stand there were both regular and gluten free soy sauce packets. I got a bowl with white rice, tofu, broccoli, corn, avocado, and yum yum sauce. The tofu was sweet and moist. Will be back very soon!

This place is great. The food is delicious and prepared fresh. Dine-in can be a little slow but that's only because they're slammed with carry out order! Very clean and great value!

The sushi was rolled SO AWFUL you couldn't even pick it up. The rice on the sushi had random hard bits. And the cream cheese in both my rolls were hard and so dry. WORST sushi I've ever experienced will not be returning. Waste of $50.

The food could have been a little better - the tempura is not fresh (it's bought from Sam's or Costco) than fry

The service was impeccable and they were so knowledgeable about every fish and all the prep into it. The ambiance was interesting, we had a girl begging for soy sauce and the chef just gave her salt. Was kinda funny to watch but made a little bit of tension. I think the chef handled it in a mature manner, the customer was clearly drunk or something and was not happy with their experience. Like I said this puts all other sushi in a lower classification. So much effort and thought into everything.

I went to the Thursday 5:00 p.m. seating, and I know I got lucky getting a reservation. I logged on…read morearound 7:00 that morning to book, and I was able to get one on my first try. Several people in my group said they'd tried multiple times without any luck. From what I've heard, Thursday at 5:00 is one of the easier reservations to get, because the Friday and Saturday 7:00 p.m. seatings disappear almost instantly. I've had sushi all over the country (although not all over the world), and this was hands down the best sushi I've ever had. The quality of the fish is incredible--they fly it in from Japan--and every course was beautifully presented. The pairings the chef came up with were amazing and really let the fish shine. The menu changes every day and every season, so you'll never have the exact same experience twice. One of my favorite surprises was the miso soup. The chef explained that the broth is made using the bones from the fish we were eating that evening, and it was honestly one of the best bowls of miso soup I've ever had. The only suggestion I'd make is to have a simple printed menu with the names of each course and maybe a few notes about the ingredients. The chef explains every course, but there are so many Japanese names and details that it's hard to remember everything by the time you leave. I would have loved something to take notes on or even just glance at while he was talking. The only other thing I noticed was that the ending felt just a little rushed. There are seatings at 5:00, 7:00, and 9:00, and by the end of our meal the next group was already waiting in the entryway. It wasn't a big deal, but it was noticeable. The experience is $115 per person, and the required 20% gratuity is paid when you make the reservation. You can also order alcoholic drinks during dinner. At the end, the chef offers an optional add-on (ours was either a $30 bowl or a $12 roll). I skipped it because it featured a type of fish that usually isn't my favorite, but after seeing what the chef did with everything else, I was honestly tempted to give it a try. Maybe next time. This was one of those meals that you keep thinking about long after it's over. Everything was thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. I can honestly say it's the best sushi I've ever had, and I'd love to come back every season to see how the menu changes.

We were aiming for dim sum a couple doors down, but they were slammed and had no out of the way place to wait. So, we walked a few yards and went into Kawa. Tablets are used to order appetizers, drinks, etc. All delivered by a robot or a train on a track above the conveyor. The sushi itself, along with other items like dessert, rolls by constantly. The best part, pricing is clear. Everything on the belt is $3.45 per plate, subject to change, of course. The sushi was fresh and the portions were in line with the prices. If you've never had conveyor belt sushi or you just want to try something a little unique to the Cincinnati area, Kawa is the place. While this location is a little out of the way for us, Hyde Park is a quick drive and we will return.
