Boris, the technician, was waiting for us as we pulled into our driveway and quickly got to work. Our house felt like an oven. Boris presented the diagnosis and we were sent an estimate by Michael. Estimate accepted and the repair was made. Soon the cool air was flowing from the vents and two customers were ecstatic. I was not very pleased with the way Fuse showed up. I didn't get a through explanation of the quote and when I asked I was told 'it's pretty clear in the paperwork' I was quoted $1200 (and recommended to perform extra service for total of $2.5k) for a lot of work I didn't need (coolant recharge despite the AC blowing cold air). I went with another company and completed the work for $665. I of course paid the $69 service fee, but did not feel it was worth it considering the high quote, and lack of explanation. That said, they were clear about the service fee, and did show up on time. YMMV read more

Fuse was a great experience. Our AC broke down and needed to be replaced. We got different quotes from other providers and they were all over the place in price and what needed to be done for the AC replacement. When Fuse came to provide a quote they were very straight forward with a very reasonable price. Texts you a picture of the tech beforehand and is good at communicating via text and phone. Sends you pictures of test results, and before and after pictures confirming system works well after service. Also answers follow up questions via text. Quote was reasonable. Top-line: they fixed what I called them about (rusty drip pan) for a fair price; and the tech that did the work, Bruce, was friendly and professional. Would call again. I was working with Michael to handle logistics and questions. Michael was responsive. He additionally offered to fix several additional things his tech noticed on the diagnosis visit, which all sounded reasonable, and even threw in replacing the capacitors for free with everything else (thanks!). Why "Good" and not "Great"? Two things. The estimates and billing were wrong on the first iterations -- the first set of "good" / "better" / "best" estimates I got didn't make any sense (confusingly, "good" was better than "better", and "better" was the same as "best"). Apparently a CRM glitch and Michael fixed it promptly after I pointed it out. And the first bill included the diagnosis fee, which it wasn't supposed to, and Michael removed it, again after I pointed it out. The other thing was, I asked up front for before/after photos, and I got *almost all* of them (...after asking...), but didn't get photos for the evaporator coil cleaning. I'm kind of assuming the tech just missed those, or they got lost at some point, I'm not sure. All in all, not the biggest deals, I get it, Michael and his team are busy, but I feel like I have to drop a star for these hiccups. read more

My heater hasn't been working for a while and I finally hit my limit. I submitted a request for help on a Wednesday night, Michael got back to me right away. Michael arrived right on time at 9am the next morning and got to inspecting. He was so knowledgeable, explained his diff hypotheses, tested the air flow with meters, and ultimately found a very simple fix (remove the old filter blocking air flow). He offered to replace it for me for $99 (mostly for his time) but I said I could just go to Home Depot and he agreed / didn't insist on doing it for me :) He also spent ample time answering my other questions and concerns with the heater (e.g. loud noises) and never made me feel rushed. Hired through Yelp Request-A-Quote for my dryer that suddenly decided to stop cooperating after 5 years. Response time was almost instant, very easy and friendly communication. Michael was able to come same day. He took a look at the dryer and was able to fix it. He was very nice, friendly, respectful, and took time to introduce himself, explain the problem and the suggested fix. Answered all my questions and assured me that the repair is covered for 3 years. Amazing experience after dealing with another company that was completely shady. I called to get an estimate to see how much the maintenance for the heater would cost after another company quoted me. I knew something was wrong. Was I right!!! I hit the jackpot with this company. They were able to get one of the techs the same day. The tech was George - another jackpot!!!! He communicated he would be early which was great. George quoted me a price that was 1/3 of the quote from the other company. The stuff that the other company wanted me to do was unnecessary. It was their way to make money for themselves. I love the fact that George was honest and truthful. Even though he may not have earn as much by making me do unnecessary work, he will get me as a repeat customer for the long term. And that is one thing a lot of companies do not get. I was initially skeptical about ALL 5 STAR ratings, but Fuse HVAC had a local office close to me and i needed my AC fixed quickly. I spoke with Michael, who offered to diagnose my non functioning AC system and he arrived within 30 minutes! It took him about an hour to run multiple tests in the 120F attic, but he found the problem. Since I didn't have an appointment, and it was late in the afternoon, he couldn't start the repair today. I assured him that with the problem identified, I could complete the repair myself. With that, I asked him for his charge for his time and expertise, but he declined, stating that he won't charge for a diagnosis! Michael refused to accept payment.
