We actually hired another company the day before, and the technician told us he had fixed our tenant's AC. Unfortunately, it was still leaking. I searched for another HVAC company and found Pure Air. They sent a technician out that same evening, and he fixed the problem within an hour. What impressed me the most was the technician, Mikhail. He clearly knew what he was doing and worked with great attention to detail. He took off his shoes before entering to keep the floors clean, and he handled everything carefully with clean hands so he wouldn't leave marks on our matte white walls. (The previous technician had left dirty handprints all over the wall and the indoor AC unit.) One year ago I used Yelp to find an air duct cleaning company to prepare for the winter. Because I have a crazy work schedule I scheduled with the first company who responded and provided me with a day that worked for me. Pure Air was second to respond and reached out to ask how they could do better. I was impressed with how professional they were with my response that I just went with the first company who responded Fast forward one year, our rental home has been having problems with the heater. The other company would come out but never figured out the problem because the heater always seemed to be working when they arrived. But it kept blowing cold air I decided to contact Pure Air for a second opinion. I messaged them in the evening and was surprised that a representative replied and was able to set up an appointment day that worked for our tenants. Sam P was the technician and I spoke with him while he was at the house. He said he thinks he can fix the problem with a replacement item and it will 95% take care of the problem. With the summers getting hotter, I reached out to a number of companies looking to install mini split AC units into my condo. In contacting Pureair, Dmitrii responded back very fast in order to set up a time to come out and provide a quote. My condo has an interesting set up and his team was very helpful in establishing the best possible design for my floor plan at a reasonable cost. Dmitrii was able to provide everything that my HOA needed in order to get approval as well. We needed to replace our very old rooftop HVAC unit before winter and couldn't be more happy about the service we received from Pure Air!! They are professional, thorough, communicative, and fast! We met with 3 vendors and the process of comparing the bids and learning about the nuances in their approach was intimidating. Dmitrii from Pure Air made us a personalized video, explaining the pros/cons of the different HVAC unit brands and models, shared his recommendation, as well as talked about how they would go about replacing the platform HVAC unit is sitting on before damaging the roof. We had just replaced our roof so it was very important to us that the roof doesn't get damaged along the way. Because the platform replacement was a bit complicated, to be extra cautious, I asked Dmitrii to talk to our roofer to validate his approach. He happily did so. Throughout the process, Dmitrii was very communicative (always reachable via text), thorough (answered all my questions in detail), professional, and fast. In just a few days after hiring Pure Air, our new HVAC was up and running! Pure Air also included free air duct and vent cleaning services as part of their bid, which was a nice add-on. Their pricing is reasonable. The process of getting the city inspector to come out to approve the permit took a while due to the holidays and city inspector availability, but Pure Air did all the heavy lifting of contacting the city and coordinating the inspection. Pure Air was great cleaning our air ducts! The technician Mikhail showed up on time, put on shoe covers and meticulously began dismantling the vents, cleaning and applying negative pressure to pull out the dirt. The vents were painted into the wall so Mikhail carefully cut them out and put them back after, we do not need to re-paint! He discovered the vents had been blocked by old filters installed long ago which he removed from the vents. Mikhail cleaned up every space after working. He also worked on the HVAC uptake inside. Replied fast, quoted right away, came the next day as promised, wore a mask (even though he is fully vaccinated), was very careful with our furniture, cleaned after himself. I expected the entire apartment being covered in dust, but he was vacuuming as he was brushing the ducts, so there was barely any dust flying around. But more importantly - we can finally breathe in our condo. He found layers of fossilized construction dust and actual pieces of fossilized dust in our ducts, all of which he cleaned out.
