They use DoorDash drivers for delivery, but there is no link between their app and the DoorDash app to apply your DashPass privileges, nor do they state that DoorDash will be delivering until AFTER you place the order. You will have to pay full $5+ delivery charges, even if you have DashPass (which would eliminate the delivery fee). If you place your order through DoorDash and receive an incorrect delivery order from this location through DoorDash, handle your resolution through DoorDash as well. I have been to Fusion before and the food was ok. Nothing spectacular. I recently ordered through my Fusion app the Tofu miso bowl. I was less than impressed. I got home and there was NO TOFU. The broth was flavorless and I mean bland and no salt whatsoever. I called to let them know about the missing Tofu and was told he would have to run it through the General Manager to get a refund. He didn't say when it would happen or nothing. I will be keeping an eye out for sure. "Easy. Casual. Sushi." This is Fusian's tagline, and to me, accurately captures their intended product and audience. That being said, I can't compare this to actual sushi. Fusian excels at giving people the option of eating sushi in a non-intimidating way (especially for first timers). Think of it as a gateway for the curious. The only other location I've visited is the Brown St location... My first time was about 6-7 years ago? As I hoped, this location is also very friendly - in particular, the employee that created my roll. I actually walked in asking about poke bowls (for some reason I thought Fusian had these?) but decided to get one of the suggested tuna rolls. All the ingredients were fresh! The pineapple was actually fresh, not canned (rare to see in Ohio). The avocado was browning, but obviously they have to prepare a large quantity of that ahead of time to meet the demand. (Again, not comparing to a real sushi bar where they prepare the slices to order). It's a very friendly and clean location to visit for lunch. Very convenient and you get your food quickly for lunch hours. I'd recommend it for those new to sushi, but only if they were adverse to going to a good sushi bar to try it for the first time. It would also be nice if there were more options with the fish and their placement on the roll but I understand that's not the model for this business to be successful. So, I like the atmosphere. The line moves slow but it is a small, new place so that's to be expected. Honestly, I've been ordering online because the traffic getting to and from work is bad. I've found the online ordering to always be on time and correct. Fusian's iced teas are also really, really, really good - and unique! Personally, I think the tofu bowl is the best vegetarian item in the area. The third time I visited this location I had a bad customer experience but the management was quick to clear things up which I think says a bunch about how the company views their customers. Fusian's food is worse than a can of cat food. I seriously recommend going to ANY of the surrounding sushi locations. Can guarantee that any restaurant will make you much better and fresher sushi than Fusian's gross ass food. Went there a handful of times and their fish just never tasted quite right. Ive never been able to finish a whole roll. Their tempura is horrendous, very clearly not freshly fried but pre battered and frozen. Can't even eat there any more now that they have a peanut sauce on their line, not that I want to subject myself to their food anymore anyway. I've been a fusian customer for a pretty long time. Basically ever since they opened up. But today I went in with my boyfriend, and we both ordered our own rolls. Mine with shellfish, his without, because he's allergic. Your employee did not change her gloves AT ALL between making my roll and making his. This lead to him having a severe allergic reaction. I immediately walked inside and calmly explained the situation. The employee I spoke with didn't really seem to care, and didn't offer any kind of compensation. I literally NEVER complain at restaurants, in fact I hate it. Because I know just how bad employees are treated. I get it. But this is simply unacceptable, and your store needs to follow proper health guidelines. If you're going to be using your hands to put together separate rolls, you MUST change your gloves. So this place is very hipster and I thought it was cool that you can make your own sushi. However, even as someone who has been eating sushi my whole life, it's kinda tough to decide what you want in your sushi. This is a cool idea, and does have some good options. But in terms of their sushi options, there was not much variation in terms of the fish for the rolls. Did like that you could put protein other than fish in the rolls. I got white rice with the seaweed wrap, salmon, cream cheese, pineapple. It was good, but nothing amazing. The miso soup left me wanting something with more taste, was once again ok, not amazing. Service was quick, took about 5 min to finish my roll. The decor was nice, trendy appearing. Did really like that you could compost or recycle in addition to trash (could have improved with which items could go in each, but I'll take that they had them all together). Would probably not go here again as there are other better options for sushi in the area. If you want chicken or steak in your rolls, this is a good option. read more

The fish and vegetables were fresh and have no problem with them except for the rice, it's uncooked or under cooked I can still taste the raw rice, it's still hard. I was not able to eat the rice and I lost the appetite. After waiting in line for 20 minutes with a very fussy toddler I got to the young man who takes your order. I asked for a roll with no rice. He said "we really don't do that anymore because the paper tears". I have some pretty strict dietary restrictions at the moment and cannot have rice of any kind. I told the young man it was okay if it tears, and if it was an issue with the slicer it was fine to leave it unsliced- my order was to go so I would just cut it at home. He then asked someone in passing who just shook her head no without offering any other explanation. He then told me I could have a salad. I didn't want a salad. If I wanted a salad I would have ordered a salad. After this 10 minute exchange took place I decided to just cut my losses and leave empty handed. I'm thoroughly disappointed. It's funny that what is essentially fast-sushi is one of our go-to places when we're in Dayton. The prices are kept moderate by limiting the numbers of fish choices (I generally don't need three kinds of tuna anyway...) but the product is fresh and made to order. I absolutely love FUSIAN. They are welcoming and have a very clean environment. They have very exotic drinks that are delicious. If I could, I would eat FUSIAN all the time.
