Because, it doesn't pretend to be anything other than that, and it excels at what it is. Inexpensive food, made by Mom or Dad, fresh, hot and quickly. It isn't the best looking outside and a little rough inside, but get past the decor and sit down for a terrific meal, and a big one at that. What was shocking was the absolutely terrific customer service. The owner and his kids are first class and it was a pleasure to eat there while shooting at Camp Perry. The chicken with mixed vegetables also had big slices of perfectly cooked chicken breast, lots of wonderful vegetables, and a tasty savory brown sauce.
