We had waited a few months before trying. The music was obnoxiously loud, we asked the server to turn it down so we could talk. (We were the only people there) Nope. Never did. Allowed our tea to get cold, no hot water. Confusing menu. Ordered mussels and out came overcooked green mussels, not black so be sure you are aware they do NOT serve American mussels. I will not eat green mussels and waited for the server to send them back and order something else, nope. He disappeared and never checked on us. They were not good. Tough and chewy. I ate two and begrudgingly took them home after 20 minutes of no service. They ended up in the garbage 4-days later. My fiancé enjoyed his spring rolls but how can you screw up a spring roll? Great selection of meals to choose from a variety of Asian cuisines. The food is excellent and presented well. Portions are hugh, most large enough for two. UP has had trouble keeping restaurants in this location and I hope this one makes it. A must try for anyone local. read more

Receive a pot of green tea and a bottle of cold water. My spouse order a grilled pork bahn mi. I ordered a large combo pho. We also ordered the fusion appetizer. The fried wonton was good, the spring rolls were good with the delicious peanut sauce. My spouse enjoyed the fried spring rolls. Spouse really enjoyed his sandwich said the bread was crunchy but not tough and the meat and filling was good. My Pho was very good. A good ratio of noodles and meat. The broth had a good taste! I've been three times since its opening, and it's been consistently pretty great. Easily one of the best Asian food options in the UP area. The pho is quite good as the broth is savory and you can actually taste the subtle anise that is missing in many pho restaurants. The beef is served more authentically (!), starting on the rarer side and cooks to a tender medium when served in the hot broth. I realized this place is also important for UP besides providing a reliably good pho option. It has an expansive menu that introduces a great variety of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes (i.e. banh canh, congee!) that we'd have to drive to northeast Tacoma and beyond to have. It's also one of the very few restaurants open late in the area that isn't fast food (till 11 as of this writing). Service has been wonderfully inviting and kind. read more

So far, we have been here twice and LOVED it both times. The hubby and I stopped in to give the place a try. He ordered the hot pot, which was HUGE! Easily enough for three people. The menu is extensive--takes awhile to go through--and there are so many good choices. The next time, we brought friends and they were so impressed with the variety and the size of the portions. They liked the food so much that they ordered a third entree to take home for the next day. The place is nicely decorated and the service is attentive and wonderful. Awful experience, restaurant only had two other tables yet it took 30 minutes for the first dish to come out, we ordered one more dish and waited another 20 minutes for that to come out, asked multiple times if it would be out soon and the waiter said yes, we asked again and the same thing was said, 10 minutes later still nothing. This place is a new local gem! We stopped in after a long drive and a craving for pho. The staff was super friendly and even though we ordered to go, they made sure we were comfortable and offered glasses of water during our wait. 15 minutes later we got our food. We ordered chicken pho, meatball and rare steak pho, and chicken fried rice. They gave us a lovely surprise of fried bananas as well. Everything was flavorful and fresh! I got there and although the sign says they're open all the doors are closed and there was no one inside. We moved from Southern Cali about 2 months ago and we've tried pho all over. We have been trying to find our new spot here in Washington and we ended up at Fusion the other night. Tiffany greeted us and was our server, she was very personable and had great suggestions and conversation! She told us about the Extra Extra Large Pho and we decided to give it a shot. When I tell you massive, it was MASSIVE! Something out of a food challenge video on YouTube for sure. We were anxious on how the experience would go but Tiffany was already extremely promising. There was double the meat and noodles and for how large it was, it did not sacrifice any flavor or fresh ingredients. We will most definitely be back.
