Delicious food and BIG portions ...the staff were very nice as well ! I can definitely see myself coming back here when I come into University Place to visit my friend who works nearby.

Came here to check it out. Located in the same area as Whole Foods. Be prepared to pay for parking if you do not park in the parking garage. Walking in, we waited for a few minutes for someone to come and tell us we could sit anywhere if we were dining in. The space is big. Music playing. A garage style door that opens up to outside dining area for when weather is nicer. Menu has a decent selection including Pho, Noodle Bowls, Bahn Mi, Teriyaki, Curry, Bulgogi. We went with the Pho Combo (steak) one with Fresh Roll one with Gyoza. They brought out a dish with basil, jalapeno, lime, and bean sprout. We asked for a second one since there was two of is. Most of the basil was brown. When they brought out the Pho Combos it was brought out with both being Fresh Roll. They made correction after they were told one was supposed to be Gyoza. We also paid $3 extra for vegetables. The pho broth lacks any depth or flavor from aromatics. Not sure what their process is, but definitely needs improvement. The vegetables they brought out were basically raw and in a separate bowl from the pho and added a little bit of a weird taste. The fresh rolls were good, but had a lot of noodles as filler. Chili oil added a weird flavor to the broth as well, not sure what kind of oil they used. I did not notice anything that suggested the quality of food being higher here than other Pho places in the area. The ambiance is nicer yes, but the food is meh. I also agree that it is on the pricey side. So many places like this in the surrounding area, may not have the variety of cuisine with the mixture of cultures--although the Pho spot down the street is pretty close. I am not sure if I would be back. I like Pho to be a bit more authentic. This didn't really do it for me.

The soup was just meh. I got the combination that supposedly had all the stuff. No flavor and no odor of Star anise. The few pieces of meat were very small and mostly fat and no flavor. Probably only about four pieces. I chewed on a couple of grisly things that would not breakdown. One of the photos shows them. I couldn't tell if it was tendon or gristle. The noodles were more chewy than soft. Not much tendon or tripe. The bowl was huge but not filled to the top but plenty of soup. I did eat it all . I wouldn't order it again because there are better Pho places around like UP Pho and Teriyaki, located at Harbor Greens area. The staff were friendly and the environment was great but not enough to save the soup. I had the house combination that was supposed to have different types of meat for $17. I only found the fatty brisket.

OMG fabulous! We are so excited to have a great Pho spot here in UP. We have eaten here 3 weeks in a row and the staff are so friendly and very accommodating to us and our dog. Their food is fresh and delicious. They have a great patio with a great menu and nice clean rest rooms.

We came by as we needed to get something from Mud Bay and the closest one to us was in University Place. I saw that this spot recently opened and we decided to grab food here. As we entered, we saw that employees were having their lunch as everyone else in the restaurant had been served (four tables). One of the employees greeted us politely and told us to sit wherever we wanted then handed us menus to browse. I do like that they have several tables and chairs for outdoor dining and it seems like they can open up the side door garage. The inside had a very modern feel to it. Their tables had the sauces, salt and pepper which is always a good sign. We got two large combination phos with one eggroll combo and one spring roll combo. We received our basil, jalapenos, beansprouts and lime but we asked for more bean sprouts as there weren't a lot to share among two people. We also saw that the basil leaves were more on the wilted side than fresh. The spring roll was on a the bigger side which I was happy with and I just wished they gave more of the peanut sauce. My boyfriend liked his eggroll as well. Our phos were on the meh side as the broth was not as flavorful or hearty as other pho places. I wasn't a fan of the brisket here and I feel like they only give smaller tendon pieces which was hard to pick up with chopsticks. We never got checked on during any time of our stay here which is unfortunate as we also weren't sure if we wait to pay or pay up front. It also didn't help that we were right next to the employee's table that was having their lunch at the same time. I would recommend going to a different pho spot as it's way too pricey for the quality, lack of service and experience.

Do not order the fried rolls! Bleck!! Old, cold, overly greasy, and the inside are not recognizable as food. WTF?

    Chicken katzu, it's so good!

I've tried so many pho places across WA, CA, and other states, but OMG Pho really stands out. I couldn't wait to try it after seeing their grand opening, and let me tell you--OMG is right! These days, pho can be pricey, and portions are often small, but this place is a pleasant surprise. The portions are amazing, and the service is fantastic. I ordered a large pho $15, and it was huge--I couldn't even finish it! There was a generous amount of meat, and the broth was rich and flavorful. This owner gone wild, selling large pho for $15. Crazy!!! I tried the steak pho, teriyaki chicken, Katzu, Korean bulgogi, and spring rolls, and each dish was delicious. Everything was full of flavor, and I loved every bite. Highly recommended if you're looking for great taste, quality, and portions! We will come back again.

I'm less enthusiastic about this restaurant now often visiting several times over the last 7 months. I started to question if I was risking my health after reviewing their less than stellar food inspection reports. I've had slightly incorrect orders. But today, shortly after opening I received a banh mi with day-old toppings. I did not pay a discount price for yesterday's food. I used to recommend this place, but sadly now I likely will not return.

We were just killing time before a flight hanging out in a nice little park area in University Place downtown when we noticed OMG Pho. So glad we tried it. Great food with fresh ingredients. We had yakisoba, chicken fried rice and pho. Loved the homemade hoisin sauce. Super friendly staff. They are able to put up the side wall of the restaurant like a garage door making it both indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean and lovely. We would definitely eat here again!

My fiancé and I ate here for the first time. The service is amazing. The foods is amazing delicious. I would recommend to eat here

My wife and I went here for a lunch date last week. The staff was friendly! The restaurant itself was very cold, but maybe they just haven't figured out heating yet. We both ordered pho and the quality of the meat they use is fantastic and plentiful! It's the best in UP, I just hope they keep quality high. We've seen quality slide at similar places after opening. When we finished our pho, we weren't sure how to pay. No one came to our table, and we learned you had to pay upfront. A bit awkward, but maybe something they'll figure out.

Pho with veggie and tofu. Large is enough for two meals.

Great new place in UP. Pho is very good. The team is very friendly and service is quick. Check it out! I will be back.

spring roll with peanut sauce. very yummy, best spring rolls I've ever tasted! they had crispy onion bits in it.
    Shirley M.

This is worth trying! you will want to go back, we had a very great experience. Next time I want to try more things on the menu. I felt like our pho was made with passion. That had to be the best quality of meat I've ever had in pho as well. We could smell the food from 2 blocks away when we were walking and it made us excited. The service was sweet and gentle, and staff were attentive to tables even when a rush started forming. After finished eating, you just head up front to pay and you walk away feeling satisfied.

As for soups, I ordered the Pork Tofu Soup and it was great! Definitely satisfying, and I didn't miss the BBQ one bit. There were only a few tables inside but almost half of them were already occupied with several customers. I was quickly seated for a table of 1. The tables are fairly close together and the noise level is low enough to hear conversations around me. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I did hear other customers comment at their tables that the food here is good. There's a few ajummas working here, so service was straightforward. I ordered the kalbi dolsot bibimbap, which seemed inexpensive and came with some complementary sides, and they were nice enough to cut my kalbi into bite-sized pieces for me. I would say, if I can finish my food in one sitting at a restaurant, I am either really hungry, satisfied, or both. In this case, it was both! This is my first dolsot bibimbap after moving to Washington recently, and I am glad it did not disappoint.
