Really good, with a huge portion of chicken. Other friend had stir fried veggies with tofu. Said the veggies were very fresh, not overcooked, and the sauce was flavorful. Not a lot of other customers in the restaurant, but there was a respectable amount of takeout traffic. I am always skeptical of restaurants that serve multiple cuisines but I've lived here long enough that I've gotten used to it. So I stumbled upon this when searching for dinner after a movie. I thought this might be a great place based on reviews. Plus each person can have a choice of Vietnamese, Chinese or Thai food. My friends and I actually ordered a dish from each. Our overall feedback is that the dishes needed more seasoning, some umami. We all had to add more salt and soy sauce- AND I never add more salt. I'm usually saying something is too salty. The portions were large but just lacking flavor. The Pad Se Ew and Beef Foo Young basically tasted the same. Not amazing. The eggplant dish (one of my fave Chinese dishes) was just ok. It was the best out of all the things we ordered. We went on a Friday and the place was busy w takeout orders. Maybe that affected the dinner service. Ambiance could use some help. It was very QUIET except for the people coming and going for take out. So quiet that we can hear customers conversations from the other side. We even had to quiet ourselves because at one point we were the only ones having a conversation. Background music would go a long way. Takeaway- Variety of menu items to try. We had high expectations for the restaurant given the raving reviews. I was shocked that my meal, a pork Bun noodle dish came with only lettuce, sprouts without crushed peanuts, no thai basil, no cilantro. $18 for this dish and that is disappointing to not have the flavors it should. I did order a bowl of broth on the side and it was clear and flavorful. My friends ordered two Chinese dishes and one Thai dish and they said it was very unseasoned. The owners are Tony, Jade and family; they are all very kind and keep busy taking great care of guests. The food here is great but it's the service that keeps me coming back. The mid day server(might also be THE only server) is AMAZING!! He is always so kind, offers great suggestions and checks in just enough so that you feel cared for. It's a small spot and most of the time there isn't a wait or not a long wait. Our first order was banh-mi (tofu, chicken, and pork) to go and they were so good! Our second time we decided to eat in cause it wasn't that busy and OMG the food is so good!! I had Tom Kha soup and my partner had honey garlic chicken. We both couldn't stop mmmm-ing and saying how good it was. We both had 4 star spicy but to us it wasn't spicy at all. The server mentioned that he could've brought chili oil out but we were so occupied with how delicious the food was, that we didn't even mind. The honey garlic chicken had crunchy but delicate batter which was perfectly fried and the sauce was perfection where the chicken and rice weren't swimming in it but also not parched and dry. I was honestly very upset that I couldn't finish my soup cause I was full. My stomach was very happy but my mouth was so sad. The people working here are attentive, friendly, funny and just so very nice! For selfish reasons, I don't want to recommend going cause then it'll get busier and I would possibly have to wait longer for the food to arrive. But I will absolutely recommend going to keep them busy and getting more customers so I can enjoy them for as long as possible. If you're still hesitating: just go. Do it. read more

Got chicken teriyaki and paid $2.00 extra for fried rice. Teriyaki had so little sauce on that could hardly tell there was any. No extra sauce at bottom of container to spoon over the chicken. Chicken was moist, but no flavor. Fried rice had no flavor either, just a few small pieces of scallions, and same with the egg, had to flip through the rice to see the egg and scallions because so small. Orange chicken was the worst I've ever had. Chicken was dry and there was a thin layer of what looked like a glaze. No actual gooey, orange sauce at all. It wasn't even sitting in sauce in the container that I could spoon over the chicken. Won ton soup was ok. This cost me $53.00 and my friend and agreed it was awful. Had to pour soy on rice and chicken to give it flavor, after a few bites, we tossed it. I don't understand why the good reviews, this is the food review I've ever written, but could not go without leaving this honest review of this food. Will never go back. read more

This is my second time getting takeout from Souper Pho, and it has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants! Both times I ordered the lemongrass tofu vermicelli bowl which is huge, filling, fresh, flavorful, and so good! I also got the vegetable egg rolls which were delicious, crispy, and the dipping sauce was really good. It was too much food and I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. We discovered this place a few months ago, and have ordered takeout 3-4 times. Food was good the first couple of times, seemed reasonable, but when we ordered a few days ago the portions were TINY. Rice noodles are cheap. For $18, there was so little food, and I'm a small female. I regret not taking a picture of the portion. It didn't even cover the bottom of the to go container. I was left completely unsatisfied afterward. My husband and I decided it was our last time ordering from here. There are still plenty of places where I don't feel ripped off. read more

1. The Health Inspection posted on the front door is "Needs to Improve" which makes me wonder what they saw that I can't. 2. An older woman working the register was quite rude! I've been there many times and always had very nice people help me, but if I see her working, I will turn around and leave. She wouldn't let me order just broth, even though it is on the menu.
