Walked in and stood there for five minutes without recognition of being there. The place was not busy and I was invisible to anyone who worked there. This place is still a family favorite. We had lunch today. It was good as always. We like to show up right when they open. The food is less rummaged though when you arrive early. They are courteous and clean the grill for us. I suggest lots of Kung pao sauce. Like 8 ladies. It's always clean inside and the staff is friendly and inviting. Are you kidding me? Every. Time. This place just gets me. Hank and I have been out of the area as two retired kiddos often do. We threw our wings up to the sky and said, "take me away" to the wind. We've been traveling all over the dang place but came "home" to have some Mongolian grill since it had been a long time. The noodles? Fresh. Veggies? Are these straight from the garden? Be honest! I love that there's a Mongolian grill in Valley Springs, this is my second time coming to this place since my family has moved into the area. The restaurant is very clean, the food is fresh & the service is friendly overall. The first time I ate at this place, it was a Saturday evening & we were helped rather quickly; there was a gentleman at the entrance helping everyone that was coming in. However, this last visit we came on a Tuesday evening around 6:30 pm there were 2-3 servers & no designated host. No one ever really acknowledged or even made eye contact with the large number of customers that were piling up at the entrance waiting to be helped. Our group of 4 waited about 25 minutes with about 4 other groups of diners until we walked up to the register to look for help (we were just wanting to take our food to go) & by that time 2 groups had already left because they'd been waiting there for some time before we arrived & expressed that no one had even made eye contact with them. I did notice & completely understand that they may have been understaffed for the amount of people that were dining in that evening but some sort of acknowledgment such as a welcome or a, "thank you, I'll be with you in just a moment" would have gone a long way. I appreciate the servers & all they do, because it's not always easy, just a little something they may want to improve for the future. read more

Even my parents love this place and that's saying a lot. They are very picky and usually choose an Applebee's or Chili's kinda place so for them to request going here it's gotta be good. Pick your own veggies - they got them all and meat...if you're into that. Then give your bowl to the cooks while the swirl it around the grill, circulating your concoction on the hot grill while you try not to drowl on yourself with the scent of your selected options. That's new for me and quite nice to have options. - the food is great - 4 stars is because the staff takes awhile sometimes to check on you or refill/bring the tab. I came to have lunch on a Saturday. I had the cashew chicken and fried rice. My husband had Mongolian beef and white rice. Their food was very fresh with plenty of vegetables. They had generous portions that were reasonably priced. Their service was attentive and polite. Passed by here for lunch when I was working with my clients at Valley Springs and I was pleasantly surprised how good their food was. I ordered sweet and sour pork and I loved the way they cooked dish. Service was very fast and the waitress was very friendly . All in all would definitely recommend this place. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience today at Fusion Grill. Like many reviews say, the service is excellent. Both server and busser were prompt, friendly, kept our waters filled and dishes bussed. They treated us like welcome friends. Ingredient selection was great. I enjoyed BBQ pork (delicious), beef and chicken. Sausage and shrimp are for dinner (fine by me, don't need 'em). The posted suggestion for sauces was awesome. I modified the "fusion mix" and loved it! (Only 1 lobster, no ginger or sesame or regular oil, add small amount of red pepper seed paste, the rest as suggested). I didn't cram my bowl, but it was full when I handed it over to cook and it was the perfect portion for me. Oh, but it is AYCE (all you can eat). Cheese won tons were tasty and fried thingy was fun (both come with BBQ). I tasted the egg drop soup, it was good, and the hot & sour soup was delicious (both come with BBQ). You also get a cup of fried rice w/ BBQ but I turned it down fearing I'd overeat and not fit into my gear for the return ride. One gal ordered off the menu and wasn't impressed (neither egg roll or sweet & sour pork). Like other Yelpers say, you definitely want the BBQ if you're dining here. We always do the Mongolian buffet, because I like to control what and how much of something that I get in my bowl. The buffet comes with a choice of rice, a choice of soup, and some fried wontons and rangoons. I do the Fusion mix of sauces for my bowl, and absolutely love the flavor. Even these days (2024), the prices are fair for the amount of food that you can get. I'm a big eater, and I always leave there full and satisfied. Don't listen to the whiny cry babies that give bad reviews. A person going there and crying about the rice has no idea why the restaurant is there... Try this place for yourself, get the buffet, make a bowl with the food YOU want, and enjoy. The service is normally VERY good, but I'm sure there are days when it is busy and people bitch about it.
